War-Gods Trip To The Future

Chapter 27 - My Sister

Ye Yuna woke up in the morning with what she told herself was newly found confidence. Today she was going to talk to her sister! Not that she had already said this to herself many times before. So, while she still felt this confident, she decided to rush over to her sisters' room whilst still in her pajamas.

However, just like all the other attempts, as she got closer to the door that had been her stopping point every other time, she felt her confidence slowly crumble. No! She couldn't give in yet! Dragging her feet all the way up to the biggest obstacle in her way, Ye Yuna made on last attempt to boost her confidence once more before raising her arm in order to knock when, she realized she couldn't even do that.

Instantly feeling depressed that she had failed again, Ye Yuna was about to turn around to head back to her room when, swoosh, the door in front of her flew open. Not prepared for such a thing to happen, as well as the fact that the door missed hitting her nose by mere centimeters, she fell backwards on to the ground immediately feeling a slight pain engulf her behind.

Before she could recover, Ye Yuna heard a voice she knew all to well as a girl with pink long beautiful hair appeared before her eyes.

"Oh, sorry about that, I didn't mean to scare you," her sister said as she offered a hand to help her get up. Still in shock, Ye Yuna just stared at the hand floating in front of her.

"Well come on, you came all the way here for me, right? Why would you come up to my door so often if that wasn't the case? It's about time you finally came in."

She knew I had been coming to her door all this time? Completely embarrassed, Ye Yuna was unable to move. Her sister who seemingly began to become impatient decided to reach for her hand instead of waiting for her and pulled her back up into a standing position before dragging her into the room.

"Alright, lets have you sit here," her sister said placing her, Ye Yuna, on the bed before sitting right next to her. Still completely unprepared for her current predicament, all she could do was look down at the ground not knowing what to do.

Ye Sakura, after placing her sister on the bed next to her, looked at how she was staring intently at the ground with a guilty look on her face. She could sense that if she had not dragged her in here, she may never have taken that last step to knock on the door. With this in mind she attempted to console her.

"See, everything is just fine right? So, what brings you to my room?" she said attempting to help the girl open up about why she looked so guilty.

Hearing those words from the familiar voice of her sister, Ye Yuna couldn't help but let the tears building up in her eyes to start falling. While indulged in the emotions of her crying, Ye Yuna let loose all her worries.

"I… I'm sorry… it was... it was my fault… keeping you… you from leaving… from leaving until… until the last moment… the crash... and your memories… of me… I'm… I'm sorry, Sis," Ye Yuna tried to say through her tears.

Ye Sakura, who now completely understood everything, accidentally let out a small chuckle.

"Ha, is that all it was? My sweat sister, please don't worry yourself. That accident was not your fault. As for my memories of you. They should return soon. In fact, I already recovered one. Remember when we watched that super hero show together? I enjoyed watching it with you. So please don't worry about that either, they will come back sooner or later."

Hearing that, Ye Yuna wiped away her tears before looking at the other girl in the room.

"Ah, this is my assistant, Miko. She stayed the night last night." Sakura explained before remembering what Miko had just said while on the phone. "Oh, that's right, I have to start getting ready to leave, I have a meeting to get too."

Ye Yuna, who felt much better after a load was taken off her c.h.e.s.t thought of how her sister had stopped putting on make-up since she had come out of her coma and decided it was time to help her out.

"Sis, before you go, can I help you put on make-up?" she asked.

Slightly surprised by the request, it took Sakura a small moment before replaying with an "Of course" while smiling. She had never been one for make-up as she had always had her focus on training and she had been beautiful enough without the use of make up back then. But, even though the same could be said for her in her new body, make-up was now a much bigger thing in this time period than it was back then. And, any reason to get closer to this new sister of hers, including the use of make-up, was welcome. She also needed to get used to using it for her acting career anyways.

From that day forwards, whenever Ye Sakura needed to leave the house, she would ask Ye Yuna to help her with putting on make-up.
