What Where You Thinking

The next couple of days Shane was at Mits side most of the time.

On Saturday afternoon, Shane's phone rang while he was visiting Mits.

"Excuse me my love I need to take this call."

Before Mits could answer him he was out the door.

"Do you have any news for me?"

"Yes I understand, okay thanks, please push this through I don't want to leave it here, I want to know who did this."

"Call me when you have answers, buy."

Shane hanged up the phone, he walked back into the room and Mits could see the anger and concern in his face. "Did something happen."

"No, no nothing to worry about, I will be able to sort it out."

Immediately Shane changed the subject. "I am glad that the doctor said that you might be able to go home on Wednesday."

"Yes me to I would love to take a long bath without a nurse knocking on the door to find out if I have not drowned yet."

They both started laughing.

"I guess I will be the one knocking on the door to ask you that question."

Shane said his good buy and got ready to leave, but Mits eye cough something before she could give him a kiss, she turned her head and saw the same guy outside her room that she saw in front of the apartment that night of the accident.

Shane saw the sock in her face and looked in the direction she is looking, he saw the slender guy watching them, when he got up to go and ask the man what he wants he ran off.

Shane looked at Mits and asked "Do you know that man?"

Mits was quite for a while and Shane repeated his question.

Mits looked at him and said "No I don't but I am sure he was outside the apartment the night I had my accident."

Shane was shocked "Why did you not tell me about this sooner?"

"I did not think anything about it till now, he could just have been a random guy walking home or something."

"I am sorry, I understand, but I need to go, I will talk to the nurse and tell her not to let anyone in your room."
