Hu Angli's Pov

Moving day

5:00 am

Okay, this might sound crazy. But Hu Angli, the son of the most feared mafia gang in the world,(not like anyone knew this) Hu Angli, whose name was so terrifying, and horrifying, and scary, could kill a person with just one mention. Hu Angli, the most handsome, most charming, most perfect person out there...Had woken up an hour late!

This one mishap caused his perfectly planned date *ahem, day, to go down the drain!

He had painstakingly spent all of his free time and brainpower to plan this day, and what did he get in return?! Nothing!

Hu Angli had planned to wake up a four am to get ready for the morning. After he would check everything to make sure that he had whatever he needed to survive the year. Then by the time, it struck 5:15 am he would be out the door (after a quick breakfast of course,). Once he reached his destination, he would wait like a gentleman for his lady to show. Then he'd pretend that he too had just arrived and had bumped into her coincidentally. Then they's would exchange numbers (though he already had her number), become friends, then good friends, then best friends, then the school's power couple, and finally a married couple with dozens of children.

But now that he had woken up late, he only had fifteen minutes to get out of the house before his family bombards him with a giant breakfast and questions regarding his *cough* wife *cough*. Worst case scenario, they take him to school and completely embarrasses him in front of "her,"

Armed with these horrifying thoughts, he rushed to get ready, not even bothering to check his bags.

Thank the seven heavens that he had the brains to pick out his outfit the night before.

At 5:10, he had already finished his morning routine and had gotten dressed. On his way out, he grabbed an apple while forming a plan B in his mind. Outside his best friends, Ran Jiexu and Mu Jian Nu waited in a limited edition Mercedes Benz.

Ran Jiexu was his most outgoing friend, more brawn than brains, (though still extremely smart,). He had dyed his hair ash gray and styled into a classic fade. He was a racer, so logically, he was sitting in the driver seat. Jiexu was a few month's younger than Angli and just a couple days older than Jian Nu.

Mu Jian Nu, his calmer friend (though still outgoing) sat shotgun. Jian Nu had dark brown hair that was styled into a simple medium cut. He was more of an outdoorsy guy and hated being confined.

With nothing but his apple, he climbed into the car and signalled for Jiexu to drive.

All his things were set to arrive at his dorm at 7:30 am, just a half-hour after the arrival of his lovely lady.

"Did you stay up late again?" Jian Nu asked, looking at Angli through the rearview mirror.

"What'd you do? Stay up all night planning your wedding?" This time it was Jiexu who spoke.

"No, I was revising my plan for today."

"Hey, I bet the plan's got something to do with-," Hu Angli faked a cough and looked out the window, pretending to be fascinated with the nearly empty road.

It was seven am and Hu Angli was PISSED. There had been an accident just five minutes from the school, and it took an hour just for everything to clear up. Sure he could have used his power and just clean up the mess in just a few minutes, but if he did that, then his parents would know where he was and what he was doing. He could NOT take that risk.

Half an hour later, he finds out that he had been waiting for his first love at the wrong entrance. But he couldn't do anything now because the moving truck had arrived with all his things. Not only that, but his family came with the moving truck.

They attacked him with several questions like,

"Where is my future daughter in law?"

"Is she here?"

"What did you have for breakfast?"

"Why did you leave so early?"

"Are you engaged yet?"

He spent about fifteen minutes coaxing in parents and sisters to leave so that he could unpack.

The movers helped him carry everything to his dorm as well as assembling everything. Angli was given a private dorm, so he was able to fully furnish his dorm, without having to worry about others not liking his taste.

He then spent the remaining part of the day preparing for the Assesment Exam on the next day.

The Next Today

4:30 am

Hu Angli's long lashes fluttered, his dark eyes adjusting to the dark as he climbed out of bed. He dragged himself to the bathroom for a quick rinse to prepare him for his day. When he got out of the shower, Angli stride to his closet and picked out his outfit.

He chose to go with the classic uniform, dress pants, black belt, white dress shirt that highlighted his fit body and a navy suit jacket to finish things off.

Hu Angli was an early bloomer, most people would guess he was around the age of sixteen, a full two years older than his actual age. He was extremely proud of this because it proved handy when he was to carry out any special missions. Although Hu Angli had yet to lose all the baby fat, he still had a good amount of muscle and was very close to defined abs ( not that he didn't have any).

Today Hu Angli had put extra effort into his appearance because today was the day that he would meet his love for the first time in years.

When Hu Angli entered the classroom, he was ecstatic to see that Li Yaorui was the only one there. Confidently, Angli stride towards his soulmate.

"What do you want?" Li Yaorui's voice was surprisingly cold, her grip on his hand was causing it to go numb and throb in pain.

Uwu, he just wanted to tap her on the shoulder.

"I needed to a-ask you a q-question...Ooww-," She had tightened her grip around his hand mid-sentence.

"What is your question?" Her commanding and powerful.

"C-can I sit in the s-seat next to you?" He hissed out.

"That's it?" Yaorui said, finally turning around to look at him.

Angli nodded.

"Fine," Yaorui released his hand and allowed him to sit, removing her wall to provide more room for him.

"Wait a minute! You're Li's family first daughter!" Hu Angli faked his response and pretended that he was clueless of her identity.

"I remember you," Hu Angli smiled in anticipation, "You're Guabo ge's girlfriend's brother. Hu Anli, right?" He really wanted to strangle himself for not making a move earlier.

"Hu Angli, but you can just call me ba- Angli,"

"Well then, I look forward to our year together deskmate." Yaorui stuck her hand out.

"I can't believe this! I'm holding her hand!" Angli thought.

"Sorry about before, I have to be extra careful with all the murders that have been happening."

"I get it, I don't wanna die either." Yaorui's sudden smile was so beautiful Angli swore that he saw her sparkle. "By the way, you can call me Yaorui,"

Become sunshines deskmate? Check.

Get on good terms with my goddess? Check.

Be on first-name basis with mate? Check.

"Wow! Only ten minutes and he already had three items crossed off! I'm on a roll!" Angli mentally praised himself.

Hu Angli took his seat beside and Li Yaorui and unpacked his bags while she took down her tablets of his desk.

"Thanks," I said.

"For what?"

"Giving me a better view of your face," he thought.

"Taking the wall down,"

"No problem." The atmosphere turned awkward after that and Angli cursed himself for letting it be.

A few minutes had passed while the two studied before Hu Angli felt Yaorui getting restless beside him.

"Are you okay?"

"Ya, just stuck."

"Need help?"

"Yes, please,"

After that, the mood automatically switched to a friendly aura. Yaorui would occasionally ask Angli for help, and he would comply. There were some chances where he was able to grab onto her hands or lean into her. Then, there were times when he needed the help, even though it frustrated Yaorui that she had to constantly repeat things to him cause he kept zoning out she was still happy to help.

About an hour later, other students had begun to arrive. Which greatly irritated Angli because of all the guys and girls sending glances in their direction. It was especially the guys. Another reason, was because with all the new people invading his alone time, with his darling, she had started becoming more closed off and cautious.

A little bit later Hu Angli found himself having a losing war against his blatter, and so, he unwillingly left her highnesses side not forgetting to send warning glances to the other male species in the room.

On his way back to his queen's side, Hu Angli heard a familiar voice.

"Hey! HU ANGLI!" The sound of Ran Jiexu's voice echoed in the crowded hallway. His blazer, blazed behind him, as he made his way, through the sea of bodies to Angli with Mu Jian Nu in tow. "What happened to you man? We waited like an hour for you outside your dorm," he w.h.i.n.ed.

"Your loss," Angli answered.

"But we were supposed to walk the halls like those cool guys in Tv shows!"

"Hey! I have an idea, why don't you tell Angli about that girl you met yesterday?" Mu Jian Nu interrupted. "You'll love it, Angli. He doesn't even know what she looks like! She bumped into him and said 'Sorry' then ran off."

"Seriously?"

"I know what she looks like! Just not her face." Jiexu said defensively.

"Whatever you say, man."

The guys and I were just about to step through the door when I heard someone calling out the name of my beloved.

"Yaruiiiiiii~" It was a sweet voice which I recognized to her friend and my future sister in law.

"That's her!" Jiexu pointed at sis in law Gebao's direction and exclaimed.

"Her, like the girl with the sweet voice?" Jiexu nodded repeatedly.

"Goodluck," I said, "Her brother is CEO of Next Top and very protective. I should know. Her brother is dating my sister. The first time he met him, he thought I was a love rival."

"Is that it?"

"She is also a top student." Jian Nu added on.

"Well, shit."

"I can introduce you two."

"Later, I have to make sure I become a Class A student first."

"Suit yourself," I said and confidently strutted towards my empress.

"Hey, I'm back. Where are you now?"

"Question 87,"

I walked over to her, completely ignoring the two girls staring at us in disbelief.
