"I personally agree with Tianhao. If we want them to gain experience and get stronger, we can't just protect them from everything. What do the elders think?" Shen Tianyu put down her opinion and asked the elders who were standing quietly on one side.

"I agree with my daughter." Muo Jeng immediately piped up.

"Though it may sound harsh but I also believe including them will be to their benefit." Elder Yu agreed. The other elders present also voiced their unanimous agreement to the proposal.

"Okay. Since everyone's in agreement. Shao Wei. It's your turn. Bring some Ancient Script section members to break the seal and we'll keep talking about the exact details." Shen Tianyu ordered.

"Yes, Miss." Shao Wei saluted and picked some of the more knowledgeable and gifted people in the Ancient Script section to go down with him. Rong Jian sent a few of his best people, too, as bodyguards at Shen Tianyu's behest.

"The older members will form a team and the Medical section members will serve as support and help to attack by throwing talismans or flying weapons but your priority is still helping the injured. The newer member will take turns to attack the demonic beast and retreat, a guerilla tactic essentially. The people that are proficient in Ancient Script will be creating another team. Their first role is to cast a barrier and create a safe station behind the lines that will not be easily penetrated where the injured may get treatment and rest. Only after that can they engage in battle. They will not have as many restrictions on that front. However, they will need to leave a handful of people to monitor the barrier. As long as they do their job and save enough spiritual energy to mend it should anything happen, they can also attack from the backlines with flying projectiles or talismans. The newbies will be stationed before the Medical members and the barrier, acting as protection without obstructing our firepower. There's no need to pull for merits, if you're about to be in danger or injured, retreat immediately and get checked up. As for the main force, I think we should split it into two sections." Shen Tianyu started explaining, using the tip of her sword to draw on the ground near the entrance. Not everyone could see but they can take turns to come up and take a look.

The drawing was crude and simple but at least the general situation could be made out based on her explanation. An open rectangle to represent the cave inside, a circle at the back of the rectangle to indicate the care station, and three lines to represent the backline, the position the new recruits should be at, and the main force fighting at the forefront.

"There are people with high enough cultivation to stay in the air for a long time. Though I don't think aiming at its back would be effective but that flight ability can be crucial in a pinch. I would like them to be at the very front, at the very least they have a wider dodging range and ability than those who can not stay in flight for long. It can also lessen any damages that we would incur. Though there is no need to be too pressured. I'm aware of the abilities of the members that have been with us longer. Even if the very front were to be injured and taken out of commission, the oldies will not fall so easily. It's just to act as a buffer so don't be too pressured about not making any mistakes. When the fight starts, I would like to ask that the ones attacking from a distance to wait first. I want someone with high agility or defensive ability to catch the Poisonous earth Dragon's attention first and lead him away from where we are, which will be the site of the care station and the Medical staff. After we get far enough that it won't be able to get to our backline easily but still have enough room to go all-out can the ranged fighters attack. That will also be when the new recruits can get in the fray. The main force will surround it and keep the demonic beast in that corner as much as we can. We'll whittle it down little by little like that." Shen Tianyu added an additional circle to indicate where she wanted the demonic beast to be cornered to. The drawing really was primitive but no one commented on it.

"Now, the question is if it'll be a long, drawn-out battle. If it is, then the main force will also have to use a guerilla tactic. But that will lessen our hold on the demonic beast's attention, increasing the possibility that it would turn around and attack our care station and Medical staff." Shen Tianyu crossed her arms and looked between the demonic beast, whose seal was currently being undone, and the rough sketch on the ground.

"Switching tanks maybe? But if we're going with a tank switch tactic, it would be more beneficial to make smaller parties so the tanks have a dedicated barrier maker and doctor. The long cast times for barriers can be bypassed with talismans but we're limited in the number of talismans and talisman paper. If we're attacking in waves, there's not enough time for one wave to make it back to the care station and back. It would waste valuable time and energy. However, in the case the demonic beast launches a large-scale attack, they could be caught off guard and wiped out. The actions of the backline are pretty laissez-faire and simple but the strategy of the frontline can only be more complicated..." Shen Tianyu put a hand over her mouth and mumbled to herself under her breath.

'Ugh... I was always horrible at chess. At least for business relations, it's one on one and I can read their expressions and do background research. Even rumor-mongers doing it for money can be traced. I can just brute force things with money and connections if need be. These kinds of situations on the other hand... some people can brute force it in a different sense. Unfortunately, we don't have any person or equipment that can achieve that..' She ġrȯȧnėd inside her head out of frustration.
