Matthew Xi watched the cartoon show playing on the huge flat-screen television bearing a bored look on his face. Glancing at the person who insisted to watch this kid's show, he massaged his temples discreetly. 

Currently, Zoey was playing some games on her phone she just downloaded moments ago out of boredom. Now, she kept on giggling for no reason. 

"Darling, look! I now have two concubines!" Showing him her phone, Zoey grinned. 

Matthew Xi looked at the beautiful 2D ancient woman who was smiling with a "master..." dialogue below. Upon seeing it, the corner of his lips twitched. 

So all this time, she was playing as an emperor, collecting women in her harem? Glancing at her proud grin, Matthew Xi was rendered speechless. 

"Isn't she pretty? I already impregnated her, and she gave birth in only two hours. Sadly, I don't have enough stamina anymore." She sighed, retracting her phone as she stared at her 2D concubine.

"I will allocate all my stamina to little Feifei so she won't get jealous in a few hours." Nodding her head, Zoey continued to do what she could in her games while Matthew Xi watched her dedication. 

'Calm down...' He whispered internally. First, she forced her to watch a cartoon series that he had zero interest in because she said she liked the show. But here she was, impregnating 2D women and talking about the allocation of her stamina. 

Matthew Xi felt like snatching her phone and throwing it from the rooftop. Not because he was jealous... definitely not because of that!

"Hey darling, download this game on your phone! Let's see who gets all the beautiful ladies!" Suddenly, Zoey had a bright idea as she turned her glittering eyes towards him. 

"..." He didn't have to say anything for her to understand his silent 'never'.

"Ehh..." Pouting her lips, Zoey returned her focus on her phone. 

After that, they spent another several minutes in silence with only the sound from the television resonating across the room. 

"Oh!" Suddenly, Zoey exclaimed which snapped him back from his standstill mind. Arching his brows, Matthew Xi wondered if she got an addition to her harem for her startling reaction. 

"Darling, I found a good game we can play together! Download this! Look!" As if she discovered the cure for cancer, Zoey shoved her phone in front of him proudly. 

Matthew Xi had to lean back as he couldn't see properly with the distance of the phone from his face. Slowly, his brows arched as there was a female avatar named Zoey and a male avatar named Browny making out on the bed. 

"We can flirt here even when we're not together!" She raised her brows in an up and down motion, casting him a knowing look which was responded with his poker face. 

"See? How intense can you be here? We'll make a baby soon." Unfazed by his are-you-kidding-me look, Zoey winked as she pointed at their characters in the game. 

Slightly opening his mouth, Matthew Xi pursed them back together again as he propped his jaw by the back of his hand. His shoulders rested on the back of the couch. No scolding or rational reasoning could make his point across her head. 

Therefore, Matthew Xi thought of keeping any thoughts to himself. He just stared at her, just stared at her without a word and hopefully, this long stare would make her a little bit awkward. 

Well, that was half of the reason. The half of it was, watching her was more interesting than watching cartoons. 

Seeing him just staring at her, Zoey cupped her cheek as she sweetly flashed him tweetums smiles. "Do I look pretty?" She asked, fluttering her lashes coquettishly. 

"Darling, you have to practice pretending you're enjoying kids' shows because we'll be watching those when we had our kids! We have to train ourselves!" Despite not receiving any verbal response from him, Zoey stated which caused his eyes eyebrows to furrow. 

'So she chose this because... she's training me...?' That discovery made his under eye twitch. 

Wasn't she too advanced to think of the unpredictable future? She didn't even consider infertility and other complicated problems before conceiving a child. Yet, they were already practicing what it was like to have a child?

Surely, his speechlessness this time leapt to a new level. He couldn't follow her train of thoughts anymore. It was just impossible. 

Just then, sudden loud knocks from outside the room was heard. Both of them turned their heads on the door, Matthew Xi heaving a sigh of relief as he assumed it was Enzo Li. 

"That must be Monkey Li! Wait—" same thought as him, Zoey exclaimed. 

Just when she was about to hop out of the couch, Matthew Xi held on her arm. "I'll get it." He suggested. 

Zoey looked at him before she smiled and shook her head. "I'll get it. It will spoil the fun if you did." 

Matthew Xi nodded his head in understanding and slowly let her arm go. He wanted to warn Enzo Li not to uncover his disguise as he had zero clue of this little secret. However, Matthew Xi decided to use another method to relay his message. 

"Wait, I'm coming!" Skipping her steps as she anticipated the dumbfounded monkey, Zoey didn't notice that Matthew Xi immediately picked up his phone and sent Enzo Li a message. 

[Don't say anything. She doesn't know.] was the only message Matthew Xi sent. 

Meanwhile, as Enzo Li waited outside, he heard his phone received a message. Checking who it was, his brows knitted upon seeing Matthew Xi's message. 

"Doesn't know? Who?" He murmured, puzzled at this weird message. Aside from receiving a 'long message' from Matthew Xi, it was weirder that he was spewing nonsense. 

"Hey!" Suddenly, the door before him abruptly opened. There stood Zoey in a comfortable pair of pajamas with a smug grin on her lips. 

"Don't hey me." Sassing back as soon as he saw her after a week of no contact with her, Enzo Li scoffed as he tried to peek inside. 

"Hehe. You really came, huh? Don't worry, My darling won't disappoint you!" Zoey winked, bearing a huge grin on her lips. "Don't blame me if you realized you're actually bent, okay?" She reminded, fueling his curiosity even more. 

"As if," Nearly rolling his eyes, Enzo Li scoffed once again as he peered at her in disdain. 

"Come in," Zoey shrugged her shoulders as she opened the door wide and stepped aside. 

Enzo Li glanced at Zoey as he stepped inside. When Zoey closed the door behind them, he let her lead the way to the living area of the room. 

"Darling, my friend is here~!" As they walked up to where Matthew Xi was perching, Zoey informed sweetly. 

Enzo Li straightened his back as he prepared himself to show his superiority to 'her darling'. However, time slowed down as he laid his eyes on the man's side profile. 

Slowly, Enzo Li watched him turn his face in his direction. The instant those pair of russet orbs made eye contact with him, Enzo Li's heart beat went to a flatline as his jaw literally dropped...
