Wild Young Miss: Mister, Let's Kiss!

Five days after the party, Zoey and Matthew Xi continued their honeymoon. They would travel around the city and get to know each other more. At night time, they would obviously exhaust themselves by being one without fail. 

Ever since a week ago, Zoey stopped taking her pills as she had thrown them away. Still, she didn't inform him just because Zoey wanted to surprise him if she got pregnant. 

Alas, even after one week of continuous love making, Zoey didn't feel any changes or see signs that she was bearing a child. It should be good, right? After all, although they were financially stable, Zoey was still hesitant about being a mother. 

But if the father was him, she didn't mind having a child. After all, she might be pretty and all, but her body was changing each passing year. She wasn't even sure if she could bear a child if she grew older. 

"What are you thinking?" Snuggling with her, Matthew Xi buried his face on her neck. 

They had been awake for thirty minutes but decided to stay in the bed for cuddles. However, Zoey was silent ever since.

"Nothing." Forcing a smile on her lips, Zoey shook her head sideways as she laid on her side to embrace him back. "Darling, what if I get pregnant?" Zoey inquired, looking up to his closed eyes, tired from last night's activity. 

Slowly, Matthew Xi opened his eyes and his gaze immediately landed on hers. "I'll take responsibility — we're married." His voice was low and coarse, but bore strong conviction as he reminded her that they were not just playmates or lovers — they are married. Husband and wife having a child was normal. 

"Are you ready?" His russet eyes glinted, as if ready for their first round for the day. 

"Well, I'm just asking. Hehe." Smiling, Zoey poked the tip of her nose. She would surprise him once she had the good news. After all, he'd been coming inside her lately thinking it was safe. 

Matthew Xi frowned, yet he didn't dwell at her indirect refusal of having a child. They already talked about it and Matthew Xi wanted to respect that she wasn't ready for that yet. 

"By the way, did that creep really cancel his birthday party?" Changing the subject, Zoey asked as Matthew Xi mentioned that Nikolai Silvestri's party was cancelled and he had returned home. 

Although Zoey was relieved that Nikolai Silvestri returned to his home, it could be perceived as a retreat for his grand scheme to her since she's married. Still, deep down, Zoey was bothered. 

Why? That's so unlike Nikolai Silvestri. He wouldn't just go back without stirring trouble for her. Although those troubles she was talking about were considered harmless, they were stressful. 

Moreover, it's too easy to shrug that guy off. It's just convenient, hence, Zoey was suspicious. Not to mention, his suspicious call five days ago. 

"Don't think of other guys." Matthew Xi flicked her forehead, seeing that Zoey was once again deep in her thoughts. 

"Hehehe. I won't~" She giggled, kissing his lips which deepened and found herself on top of him while he stroked her back ever so gently. 

"Mhmm..." A soft moan slipped past her lips as she felt his fingers caress her bottom that soon touched her soaking pearl.

May 2, 2019. Country B's Airport

Another week had passed in a blink of an eye. The newly wed couple had a good time with their honeymoon smoothly. 

Holding hands, both Matthew Xi and Zoey departed the airport with a smile on their lips and a content heart. Although their lives would resume tomorrow, with Zoey going back to Z Image Group while Matthew Xi returned as the CEO of XI Corporation, they were happy being together. 

"Darling, how was your interview earlier?" As soon as they hopped in on their ride, Zoey asked as she hadn't had the chance to talk to him about earlier arrangements yet. 

For the first time in history, Matthew Xi allowed an interview as they would launch a life changing product plus his marriage announcement caused intrigue about who the lucky girl was. Therefore, Zoey was curious how it went. 

"Good." Giving Zoey a side eye, Matthew Xi placed his arm over her shoulder. "They asked me who I was married to..." he added, staring at her curious visage. 

"Really? Did you promote Z Image? Should I expect tons of clients tomorrow?" Her eyes sparkled, more thrilled if Matthew Xi promoted her company and she could make more money from this free promotion. 

"No." Seeing her excited whether she got a free promotion from him or not, Matthew Xi felt like teasing her. Although he wasn't lying, he did mention the Z Image Group and how admirable its owner was. 

"Tsk." Upon hearing his reply, Zoey clicked her tongue as her bright aura turned gloomy. "Whatever. I can make Z Image much greater than XI Corporation with my own will!" She scoffed, declaring her limitless vision for the company she established through blood and sweat. 

"Okay," Nodding his head in understanding, Matthew Xi played with her hair. Alas, Zoey pulled her hair away as she crossed her arms and looked away with a 'hmp!'.

"Are you mad?"

"No?" Not giving him a glance, Matthew Xi chuckled with her obvious response. 

"Are you on your period? You've been moody lately." Shaking his head, Matthew Xi tried to reach out to her which Zoey struggled but gave up nevertheless. 

"Darling, how can you not feel threatened when I said I'd surpass XI Corporation? You don't believe me, do you?" Frowning as she was not interested in period talks, Zoey shot her displeased eyes at this clingy man. 

"No," Chuckling at the small reason of her dissatisfaction, Matthew Xi rested his chin on her shoulder. "I believe you and I don't feel threatened because I'd be happy. Aren't you the one who said you wanted to provide for us?" He humored, recalling her previous words back when they weren't officially together. 

For a moment, Zoey pursed her lips resisting herself to smile. Damn it, why was she happy hearing that excuse? But he sounded sincere... Zoey was moved easily and her displeasure vanished as if she wasn't annoyed. 

"Sweet talker." Zoey remarked which made him chuckle. With that being said, Zoey glanced outside and saw the route they were taking. 

"We're going home, your home, our home." Since they haven't talked about where they were going to live since they got married, Matthew Xi thought she would like to live in her own home. 

After all, although Matthew Xi had a lot of properties under his name, Zoey might prefer a place she was familiar with. His only concern was that her brother and his fiance were still living with them. 

But well, they could take things slowly. They have forever, after all. And Matthew Xi was more comfortable if he could leave Zoey with someone he could trust at home if he has business trips. 

"Hehe. I love you." Zoey giggled, her heart fluttering as he had considered her in his every decision.. There were no words needed for him to explain as she understood his intention clearly.
