Wild Young Miss: Mister, Let's Kiss!

"Haist!" Zoey ground her teeth as she blamed Richard Sun for stalling her. Now, her darling was nowhere to be found and she couldn't reach him via call. "I should have beat the crap out of that guy. He ruined my plans for today with Browny." She grumbled and stomped her way back to the parking space.

By the time she reached her car, Zoey dialed his phone once again, but to no avail. "Now, he might think I ditched him." Zoey sighed heavily before revving up the car.

"Ahh..." However, instead of starting to drive, Zoey leaned her forehead on the steering wheel. She then bumped her forehead on the steering wheel ever so slightly as she murmured.

"What to do? I just threatened the Sun Corporation's heir — damn you Zoey!" Unlike her dark vibe earlier, Zoey seemed to regret her action for how she dealt with Richard Sun.

She was wrong for being a sucker for good-looking guys. If only she didn't show interest in the first place, she wouldn't be in this mess with him.

Well, she was not at fault... completely. Who would have thought that, that one time she hinted Richard Sun, he would be too obsessed to bed her?

Hence, Zoey had to use different means to reject him until he finally got tired of pursuing her and they ended up hating each other. Today was the first time Zoey had gone extreme.

Still, now that she thought about it more, she could have played the victim card. Alas, regrets only happened when the deed was done. She couldn't return the time and change her behavior.

"My damn mouth — haist! I can already feel the stress waving at me before prancing inside the company!" Through her gritted teeth, Zoey kept on bumping her forehead on the steering wheel.

Little did she know, her biggest problem was not Richard Sun but her darling sweetheart. After all, he had witnessed what happened and misunderstood her completely.

"Gosh..." Before Zoey could breakdown, she inhaled and exhaled to calm herself down. "I'll leave tomorrow's problem to the tomorrow me." She said followed by a sigh and began driving her car back to Z Image Group.

When Zoey arrived at Z Image Group's parking space, she checked her phone again and composed a message to Matthew Xi.

"Darling, are you..."

"Darling, I'm back to the company..."

"Where were you?"

"I'm sorry..." Zoey composed one thought and then delete it before changing it to another context. However, thinking that it was her fault that they got separated, Zoey stared at the 'I'm sorry' she typed.

"Whatever." She sighed and without further ado, Zoey sent the message and then placed her phone back to her handbag.

"Happy birthday!!" As Zoey processed what just happened, the people in the office — from different departments — were gathered around and greeted her a happy birthday.

"Happy birthday to you...~" After that, everyone began singing the happy birthday song while Mel slowly approached Zoey with a cake.

"Boss Z, belated happy birthday!" When they finished the birthday song, Mel grinned from ear to ear and greeted Zoey while offering her to blow the candle.

"You guys..." Zoey bit her lower lip, tears formed on the side of her eyes as her gaze scan everyone. "How can you surprise me like that..." She murmured and the tears finally fell and stained her cheeks.

By the looks of it, their kind gesture totally moved her that she was in tears. Hence, everyone grinned from ear to ear because for the first time, Zoey cried. Zoey often make them weep, but today, she was the one who's in tears.

"Boss Z, quick! Make a wish!" Mel urged. Mel and her colleagues didn't expect that Zoey would be in tears.

They didn't think they would pull off this surprise party. In actuality, they expected for the worse. But the outcome was surprisingly satisfying.

"My wish? Hmm. I wish everyone will be happy in life." Instead of keeping her wish to herself, Zoey spoke loudly before blowing the candle.

"Yeey!" After Zoey's wish, everyone clapped their hands.

"Jeez, when did you guys plan this?" Wiping the tears on the corner of her eyes, Zoey inquired in between her sniffs.

"Hehe. Before your leave. We have to thank Boss Darling for stalling us some time to make this happened!" Mel excitedly exclaimed as she pointed at Matthew Xi who was standing wordlessly to the farthest corner of the office.
