Enzo Li had soft spots for little girls — rather, for children. Although the girl was already in her early teens, he still considered her as a child. Hence, part of him felt bad for her.

However, he needed to confirm if he saw his second cousin, Matthew Xi, correctly. After all, he hasn't met Matthew Xi ever since Enzo Li came back from abroad. Also, while Zoey was talking with her lawyer, Enzo Li thought it would be best to say hi to Matthew Xi.

"Where did he go?" Jogging to where Matthew Xi headed, Enzo Li looked around. In the corner of his eyes, he turned to the figure and saw Matthew Xi entered the lift.

"Wait—!" Jogging a bit faster, Enzo Li called, but he was late. The elevator door closed just before he could stop it. "It's really him." Just from the glimpse of Matthew Xi's side profile, it convinced Enzo Li that it was indeed Matthew Xi.

Only Matthew Xi bore an imperious mien. His presence was just too overwhelming. A look-alike wouldn't be able to copy the natural overwhelming air surrounding his cousin.

"Where is he heading? Is he visiting someone? Or he is secretly ill?" Murmuring nonsense, Enzo Li's eyes widened upon his last remark.

To him, the last 'guess' made more sense. He wouldn't be surprised if Matthew Xi contracted a disease and kept it a secret. The man was full of mystery and only a selected few knew what he was up to.

"Right, I should just call him." As he stared at the number of floors that were lighting up, Enzo Li decided to give Matthew Xi a call.

However, as he dialed his cousin's phone, Enzo Li knitted his brows because the call wasn't going through. The next second, his already knitted brows creased even more as the elevator lift showed it stopped; it stopped in Zoey's floor, which was the VIP floor.

This might be just a coincidence. Hence, Enzo Li didn't give much thought about it. After all, Matthew Xi was an important figure, thus it would make sense if he was being treated with nothing but the best that this hospital could offer.

Since Enzo Li had a clue which floor Matthew Xi headed, he waited for the other elevator. While he waited, he tried to reach Paul Qian to ask about Matthew Xi.

As usual, Paul Qian picked up the call after three rings. "Yes?" Paul Qian greeted.

"Brother Paul, I think I saw Big Brother Matt in Kwan General Hospital. Was it him?" Without further ado, Enzo Li inquired. At this point, the other elevator finally opened, but Enzo Li didn't enter.

The line might get disconnected because of network interference if he hitched inside the lift. Enzo Li just wanted to confirm if he should greet his second cousin or just let it be.

"Yes. Young Master is visiting someone... I guess." Since he trusted Enzo Li and Matthew Xi didn't seem he was treating this information as classified, Paul Qian answered truthfully. Still, Paul Qian was also unsure about his answer.

"You guess...?" Arching his brows, Enzo Li pondered. In his understanding, Paul Qian knew Matthew Xi better than anyone.

After all, Matthew Xi trusted his assistant more than him or any Xi Family members. Even the chairwoman didn't know things that Paul Qian knew about Matthew Xi.

Therefore, having Paul Qian being uncertain about Matthew Xi's action was suspiciously rare. That alone made Enzo Li's guess — Matthew Xi contracting a deadly disease — intensified.

"Brother Paul, please don't tell big bro that I saw him." Having the conclusion in mind, Enzo Li asked for a favor.

It wasn't a big deal, so Paul Qian nodded his head and hummed. "Hmm..."

"Aight, thanks." With that said note, Enzo Li ended the call. At the same time, the elevator which Matthew Xi took also opened.

Although Enzo Li asked Paul Qian not to say that he saw Matthew Xi, his curiosity pushed him to know what disease his cousin contracted. Hence, Enzo Li hitched inside the lift and pressed the floor where Matthew Xi headed.

'I'll just take a peek...' He justified inwardly. Enzo Li only planned to know whose doctor Matthew Xi was seeing and start investigating with his vacant time while Zoey was talking with her lawyer.
