From Mother Moon, I call out,

Like spotlight shining to the Moon, i do shout.

Come Forth Oh light and bring thy fury!

And show them the might of the lunar mystery!

The rest of the night and the day after were spent calmly exploring the town as Pyrrha contemplated the events that happened a couple of days ago. With the ability to speak to her mother returned and her subconsciously supplementing Alv's own magical power she had inadvertently allowed alv to call upon the ability to cast the spell to communicate with her mother once a day as opposed to every other day. She had thanked Alv profusely for the opportunity. Unknown to her Alv was just happy to see her smile more. He had meant it when he said she had gotten a shit lot in life with regards to her life and her death. He promised himself and her that he would help her lose that melancholic look and he meant it. After another conversation with her mother assuring her that she wasn't going crazy and giving her a summary of how long her replies could be things were beginning to look up, on a personal level, however, life isn't always kind enough to keep good things going.

Things started to take a turn for the worse as the day that would soon be known to history as the 'day of the eye began to close'. A rather cryptic name all in all but it served to mark the day that history began its great change.

It was at about noon after Alv's lessons in magic from Old Jin, his attire had changed to resemble the typical tribal warrior's attire of the traditional Filippino warriors of his old world with the exception of the length of the robes around his legs. Where the traditional attire was similar to a loincloth in length and modesty, his robes left his top bear exposing the shifting magical marks and scales as his bottom half was covered in yellow and red robes. (he is wearing the same attire as in the book cover). Pyrrha too had changed her attire. Where once her bronze armor was her primary means of protection it was now replaced with iron armor of similar design but the waistcoat that floated freely behind her was made up of the polarized magnetic sand. Her semblance empowered iron sand under armor in place as she was now armed with a shorter version of her musket strapped to her back, and her sword strapped to her side. Her practice of late had allowed her to use some of the iron sand to shift and convert her sword into her javelin or polearm with practice.

Alv and Pyrrha were at the center of town walking around looking at the job board for adventurers in the city center. There was no one in the way of a mayor or leader in the town. As such the needs of the town were posted in the city square where those willing to earn a little coin could look for work. Alv had a job posting for helping with a small animal infestation in his hand as he looked to Pyrrha seeing she heald one looking for people to provide security for the caravan that would be moving between the mine and the town. He smiled and as he was about to approach her the loud screams of people running caught his attention. Running to the sight of the screams with Pyrrha not far behind him as well as captain Daggerfoot. He arrived at the edge of town to see a group of panicked and harried beast-men of different races and genders running from the forest linning heading into the town. Captain Daggerfoot had realized what it was before anyone else as she had experienced something similar a while back. Turning to those around her she instantly began issuing orders.

"Their being chased by slavers. Quickly, guide them and the civilians to the shelters! Those sick bastards aren't likely to spare us either. Two of you head out to move the civilians! Half of you go make sure the beast people are ushered to safety, the rest come on, we have some slavers to force out of our town." she grunted drawing her short sword. The Guards were quick to follow her orders as the first of the beast-men reached town. Quickly being directed by the guards they were at first hesitant however seeing the multi-racial quality of the guards, the presence of several orcs and other monstrous races working alongside the halflings, elves, and humans, they quickly did as ordered and moved with the civilians who were retreating to the shelters in the center of town. Seeing that the refugees coming in were following the guards Alv turned to the captain and asked.

"Plan?" he said as he looked at the treeline, the wild hooting and hollering of the incoming sadistic raiders reminding him of the war boys from mad max.

"Depending on the number of people just engage them and take them out. No slavers survive trying to take my people," she said coldly.

Alv although hesitant to kill nodded. He knew personally that there were somethings that you just can't come back from, and the enslavement of sentient races and then selling them as p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e slaves, combat slaves, or just slaves, in general, was not something one could come back from. He would not and could not abide by those that followed these actions.

Pyrrha was at first averse to the killing, but as soon as she saw one of the beast women, a cant woman, (tabaxi) being forced down as he tore at her clothing before being handed a collar by another of the slavers her body moved on its own. Her semblance reacting to the burning sensation in her heart it launched her sheathed sword at the sick bastard skewering him before the blade still drenched flew back into her hand.

The death of their comrade had caused the slavers to as one lookup at his cause of death of their compatriot. Seeing the bloody sword in Pyrrha's hand the leader of the slavers stepped forward. He was a smarmy man, easily glinting with the grease that layered his skin, the sick look in his eye glinting as he looked at Pyrrha then at the other inhabitants made Alv's stomach do backflips and made Pyrrha's skin crawl. He stepped forward his attitude confident as he dealt with what he assumed to be just another small town to take over.

"Well, well, well what do we have here boys?" he said looking around grinning like a loon.

"Another small town to enslave boss" one of his subordinates ginned.

"More animals for the pain wheel." answered another.

"More toys to break." answered a voice from the back causing the other slavers to stop and laugh at his answer.

"That we do boys. So folks what's it gonna be? I can walk away with half your citizens willingly given, or i can go around and chain you animals for 'better purposes'" he grinned lecherously looking at Pyrrha.

Alv having heard enough, stepped forward. He had been trying to recreate spells based on effects he had seen in anime in his past life and it had come with some interesting results. Walking forward he spoke as he looked at all of them.

"How about you lot f.u.c.k off, while your boss suffers?" he asked as he began preemptive casting. Invoking illusory terrain around the guards and the escaping beast-men. He then focused on the leader and invoked a new spell he had been working on. He was unaware he was casting two spells at once, with little Buwan on his shoulder taking on the burden of maintaining the focus for the illusory terrain. He looked at the head slaver's eyes and said.

"Plain of suffering" as the world around the head slaver shattered turning into an endless expanse of sand dunes.

"Where the hell am I?" he asked as he looked a the world now around him. Working with master Jin Alv had managed to replicate the Tsukuyomi of the Sharingan to a lesser degree.

"We have eight hours in here together you sick f.u.c.k. Let's see if i can make you suffer like you made them suffer," he said as his hands began working on skinning the man who was now paralyzed in his mental realm.

To fighting our heroes it looked like two things had happened at once. The area around them seemed to spark and catch fire as a wall of flames formed to protect the village. The captain seemed to look into Alv's eyes before screaming as he collapsed in a shuddering heap. Alv accentuating his draconic horns, his scales moving to spread around his form, stepped forward.

"Now which one of you sick f.u.c.ks wants to go next. I HATE slavers with a passion, so let's see how many of you I can break like the poor people you capture." he grinned as he used minor illusion to change his eyes from normal to pulsing orange. His horns growing as he grinned at them.

The illusory dragon had come out to play.
