World Of Warcraft: Altered Time

Chapter 23 - To much to do Part 2

"Boom!" The remainder of the ship blew apart. The others had targeted the ship freeing most of the Murlocs. Azul turned to stare at them gobsmacked.

"So... killing gnomes, dwarves, and goblins now?" The others just nodded sheepishly. "Oh we are going to have a small talk about this later."

"Fwish!" Flame wings came out of Azul's back side. They were made of mostly arcane energy. Imitating Demona's wing in shape but slightly bigger to deal with his frame and armor changes. "Fwap!" Pushing his wings forward, several little fireballs traveled out.

"Bam, bam, bam!" A few gnome Warlocks trying to save the ship were hit in the head. The magic spells they were muttering went out of control.

"Fwoosh!" The air started to turn crazy, causing the water to rise and fall. The magic was distorting reality. Azul was already charging forward to grab hold of the energy. Thoughts of the Voildwalker's from yesterday bothered him. The area was already weakened from different magical onslaughts over the years. If left out of control, a tear could open letting who knows what through. The Horde of undead demons would have another area to enter from.

"Secure those who wash ashore! Let none escape!" Azul ordered. Flying over the ship remains, he could see the other people down below fighting against the Murlocs. The Murlocs were doing everything they could to get the bigger ones away. Even jumping into death to free the captives. "Come here stupid magic!"

The wild magic flooded into Azul's body instantly. The distortion started to close and correct itself. That is when he felt it. A gnawing entity grasping at the "Plane" and trying to weaken it. It was targetting the area because of the Murlocs and Blood Elves. Again the blood elves use of magic was bringing harm. But this time, it was because they were a threat.

The use of the light magic that Azul and the Flame Elves subrace used were dangerous. The Murlocs were used as a blood sacrifice. The races ability to reproduce in large number worked in this group of "Smugglers" favor.

"Bang!" The entity crashed against the hold of reality. Azul felt it tear at his mind trying to corrupt him. With a push of his mental defenses, it was sent back. It was to weak and Azul's training from Athena was to powerful. It didnt stand a chance in it's current state.

"Someday.. you .. will.. be mine.. as well as Azeroth.." The entity said. "Hand.. them.. over..."

"Tch, eat my shorts!" Azul fired arcane missiles at the openings that were left. Infused with his fire and light, the creature bounced backward. "Try this!" He yelled seeing the minimum effect.

"Fwoosh!" A flame lance appeared. "Swoosh!" Throwing it like a javelin, it sailed through the opening into the Shadowlands.

"Rooooooaaaa!" The creature howled in pain. But the attack could only slightly injure it. No real harm. "Fool!" With a wave of its silky claws, it cast a spell instantly.

*Warble*

Light distorted around Azul in real space. His wings touched against the sides and burned it away. Inside, he could see the creature wince in pain. Its attack was foiled. But its eyes sneered in contempt. A smirk forming on the mixture of its face.

'I cannot even remotely beat this thing!' Azul thought. Looking down, he could see the others fighting against the crazed gnome casters. The sides of the Gnomes faces twisted in manical glee. Purple streaks raining from eye sockets. "Well damn..."

"For the Shadows!" A Gnome Warlock yelled. Running in the air towards the shore. He started to enlarge. A fat ball of purple death.

"Chk!" Antiva fired and arrow right at the center of its forehead. "Poof!" The concentrated magic exploded out. Azul watched as more and more of the gnomes started to do the same. They were trying to wipe out the elves quickly. The new target was now them instead of the Murloc sacrifices.

Azul grabbed the raw magic from the explosion and use it to his advantage. Something inside said he would be ok. Ancient markings appeared on his wrist and sleeves. They were that of ancient Greek symbols. Patterns that resembled the closing of Tartarus.

"Woom!" The creature did not want to go quietly. It released a wave of negative thoughts to try and stop Azul from casting. The idea of getting locked away in despair, hit Azul full on. He shrugged it off. Once again the time in Hell saved him. It would receive no pity from him.

"Close!" Azul yelled putting his arms togethor. The magic followed his movements and sealed everything completely. He passed on the power up to keep this creature from even gaining a small foothold in the area. 'Ks, everything to sealing it away!'

(Understood.)

Looking down, cultists still were down below. But a few of the Gnomes and Goblins were fighting the others. Possibly those who were fooled maybe. Only time will tell.

"For the love of Hell, why something new?" Shaking his head, Azul looked down at the floating Gnomes, Goblins, and Dwarves. "Such a pity... I wonder if you all knew!?"

"Fwish!" Conjuring a few Flame Lance's, Azul prepared to kill them all. Better safe than sorry.

"Kaboom!" A torrent of magic blasted out from furthur out. It was a ship covered in shadows that moved towards Azul. Azul spotted Demona fighting against it. She was hurling fireballs of demonic energy at it. The look on her face was that of fury. A small bit of fear as well.

With flap of his wings, Azul fired another wave of fireballs down below. "Fwish!" Followed by another set of flame lances. Demona could deal with what she had. He needed to deal with was below him. "Fwoosh!" With another hurl, a lance traveled wildly through a group of cultists.

"Sizzle!" A particular dwarf was skewered by it. One of the warriors grabbed the still formed lance and lifted it and the dwarf up. "Fwip!" When a fast turn, the flame lance and tue dwarf were thrown back into the water. The Murlocs feasting on their body ripping the dwarf apart in seconds.

"Worse than piranhas." Azul said solemnly. On the shore, he spotted the elves that were with Demona. A lot of them were no longer there. Less than half. "Shit!" Incensed with Fury, Azul pulled on the anger and created Dark Flame Lance's of Crimson magic. It was and angry and contained the the power of Bane. "All of you just... Die!"

"Fwoosh!" The new lance split into countless smaller ones. Thousands upon thousands formed as he fired them out. The Murlocs on instinct duck deep under water. The cultists not so much. The few noncultists just collapsed to their knees praying to whatever god heard them.

"Splash!" A set of lances took out a piece of the ship remains that had a caster on it. "Boom!" The caster detonated in red flames. His magic pulled into another passing Lance feeding it causing it to split into more. "Boom!" Another caster was caught and exploded. The amount of Lance's increased yet again.

Azul was floating in the air concentrating on the spell. Blood dripping down his nose. Not from the staring of magic, but from sheer anger. Bane was punishing him for miscalculationing and losing forces. He had to better. Even of the forces could be revived that was power wasted.

"Hah!" Antiva fired at any caster that targeted Azul. Antoni fought below Azul on a burning disc that moved him around. Any spells that made it out were deflected by his spear smacking it away. Azul did not know if that was a spell or pure skill. He was to busy firing and venting.

"Burst Wave!" Antoni yelled. He pulled all the magic he had inside and released towards a group of cultists. His magic was now spent as the disc started to fade. He landed in the water near a large Murloc. "Aww shit." Antoni said looking at it. "Nice fish fishy?"

"Fwooosh!" His Burst Wave stopped several spells midflight at least. The Murlocs eyes turned purple as it clawed at it's own face. A cultist had attached to it and infused itself with the creature. Antoni turned and tried to swim to shore.

"Rahhh!" Azul felt the man below him in danger. With a kick, he sent a small bubble of magic engulfing the man in a protection spell. 'I really hate cultists now!' Thinking through the fury, he reconfigured the spell.

Azul floated down and landed on the surface of the water. Below his feet, the sea water turned red and froze. Antoni tried to get his breath. The Murloc latched onto the bubble and was expanding. "Kaboom!" It detonated sending him up into the air. He was fine. The bubble then dissolved and healed him just a little.

Azul was encased in magic going through a spell and changing his armor and class. The ice would hold for the next three hours. More than enough time to finish everything.

"I do not like all these explosions!" Antoni yelled coming down. He pulled out his spear and stabbed a cultist on his landing. Pulling the spear out, he stared at two of the people who were fighting against the others. "Ummm hi?" He waved at them. The two looked to be Dwarf priest. "What do I do with you two? I can not just kill clergy folk."

"Scrrch!" Antiva slid on the ice next to him. Her bow was split into two curved long swords. She looked at the two priest and frowned. She did not want to strike them down either. She was no bandit. A killer of mem and women but not clergy folk. It was just wrong to her.

"Ha!" The male dwarf priest cast a healing spell on the two. "We are not with them. We just wanted safe passage is all. Please believe us."

"Shit!" Antiva cursed. "Just stay close while we fight. Keep us healed and we will see." The two dwarves nodded and did their best. Other warrior's made it up to them. The dwarves healed as soon as they were in range. "I hope Axul does not kill is for this."

"Well... he might." Antoni said unsure of it himself. "We just need to kill and sort things out later." Healed up they charged against the rest of the cultist.

"Raah!" Azul came charging out of the protection spell. In his hand was a WarGlaive! He spun across the ice cutting as he moved. As a warrior, the fury was just perfect to fight with. Azul followed the concentration of the biggest magic build up. "Yah!"

"Slchlick!" The WarGlaive cut through a dwarf cultist right as it was about to explode. The raw magic energy entered the weapon and made it more deadly. "Sching!" Azul was stopped by a Dwarf with a greatsword.

"You will pay for ruining the Master's plan!" The dwarf snarled. Azul looked up and spotted the name only.

(Void Lord: Culthu Datk Iron Level:??)

"Raaah!" Answering with a yell, Azul gave his primary focus to his target only. In his mind, stopping this dwarf and taking his memories would give a large insight on the Voidwalkers.

"Ching!" The blades clashed in a deadlock. Azul primed by fury, matched the dwarf in strength. "Shing!" With a push, Azul broke the lock and went for a frontal slash. "Ding!" It caught against a holy aura.

"Tch! Filthy Shadow Priest!" Azul said in disgust. With a quick cast, he used a spell breaker spell. Pulling back he pivoted and used his shoulders and h.i.p.s to send more power into the strike. "Cleave!" Before contact the, the blade glowed with a red edge. Wisp of black smoke traveled with it.

"Foolish boy." Culthu said. He was confident in his defense.

"Schlick!" The WarGlaive cut through the barrier and slit the dwarfs throat. However, it was to shallow. Culthu eyes went wide, he never expected this from Azul. Raising his Greatsword, he made to block the next strike. "Ching!" The blades rang out violently.

'He is getting stronger!' Culthu was a veteran warrior and knew a little of combat. 'The magic that powers him is something else. I must gain it somehow.'

"Thump!" Azul kicked the ice causing it crack under the dwarf. With his footing lost, Azul swind the WarGlaive downward in attempt to cut him in half.

"Ching!" Culthu had used his Hreatsword to block. Raising it above his protected him from the first strike but pushed him through the ice. He was now waist deep and the water was already freezing back. "Fwoosh!" Azul power the WarGlaive up using his health to attack. He wanted to kill the dwarf as fast as possible.

"Wait boy! Stop!" Culthu pleaded.Of course Azul did not stop. 'I can not die here!'

"Cracckk!" A large sound spread across the water. Azul swung with so much force he split the ice and sent a magical slash across the water. Thankfully he hit none of his forces.

"Come here!" Azul reached out to grab the dwarfs soul. But he was interrupted by shaking. "Dammit!"

"Boom! Boom! Boom!" Across the ice several cultist detonated at once. The explosions were a distraction however. Out of the water a bunch of dead Murlocs floated up. Purple tendrils pulled them togethor.

"Oof!" The shaking was to much. Azul lost his footing and slid around like everyone else. "Hup!" Stabbing the WarGlaive into the ground, he already started to change class to deal with the new threat.

"Waaaarrggglllh!" The possed amalgam of Murloc parts cried out. The cultist were all dead, and Azul's forces were to tired. Seeing the few good gnomes and dwarves helping his people gave him pause.

"Where are the goblins!?" Azul finished changing and stood up. He looked to the side and saw Demona shivering in fear. "Demona!" He called authoritatively. "Regroup our forces and the survivors." She nodded and flew to the shore. Azul moved slowly towards the creature since Culthu disappeared on him. His map showed nothing so he could only put it out of his mind.

"Father!" Nagiana called. She and several pegasus riders flew over. "We received the message from Ks. We came as soon as we could."

"Good. Pelt it from long distance while the others recover. We need to stop it." Azul said.

"Stop it from doing what?" A pegasus rider asked. Azul pointed at the sky. A thin crack was above the creatures head. "What is that?"

"It is trying to open a way to the Shadowlands. I rather not let that happen. I sealed it up a few minutes ago. But the spell has not be able to set and lock in place. we just need to hold it for about... 7 minutes or so." Azul said. He then started chanting a spell.

"Easy enough." Antoni came over with a few others. They were fully healed and raring to go thanks to the Dwarves. "These two helped a lot. We need to not kill them." Je spoke to Azul who did not pay atyention.

The male dwarf passed a blessing on Azul to increase his mana. The female dwarf was chanting wordlessly. Her mouth was open and you could see her tongue had been cut out a long time ago.

"Archers ready.." Nagiana said. "..point and fire! Cover the sky!" Azul finished his chant at that time. He had changed over to a Priest.

"... their will be done!" His eyes blazed with white hot power. The arrows that fired lit up in radiant flame and cut through the amalgam of parts. Azul then started to do another chant. "Cast in the name of the Goddess Athena, Cast in the war cry of Bane.."

The female dwarf walked over and placed her hand on Azul. She looked back at her partner and smiled.

"Bwoom!" A large light encompassed her as she turned into motes of light and disappeared. Azul's Holy magic spiked.

"..in the name of Azeroth, I find thee guilty!" Azul said. He directed his hands toward the Amalgam. Two large hands of light appeared grabbing at it.
