Hisoka sat back upon the ground after laying there 9(where the fight happened) for a long time. It was already the dusk of the 2nd day. The sun was setting, the sky was covered in beautiful light reddish-yellow, and with small clouds flowing with the wind. He sat there thinking about the events that happened, the intense fight he'd been through, and he was conflicted. He lost, being alive after a fight like that was not something unexpected. To him, a true battle is a one fought to the death with both parties giving it there all, yet he is still alive meaning the battle is not over yet. He knows that his opponent this time around outclassed him in every way imaginable. This was the first time in his life that he tested a crashing defeat like this. Facing him again would surely result in death. But before he died he still wanted to fight someone in particular. That was the reason he accepted Nero's proposition of healing him without a second thought, even if it meant losing all his money like that (left a bad test in his mouth).

Smiling he let out a big sigh.

Hisoka "I want to fight him aging, but that will have to wait for some other time, I don't want to die just yet," he said clenching his fist.

{Baririrng} {Baririrng}{Baririrng}{Baririrng}

It was his phone ringing, he picked it up and put it to his ear

Hisoka "what is it?"

Ilumi "I was calling you all day what happened to you, for a moment I thought you were dead"

Hisoka "you could say I had a little brush with it, so what's up?"

Ilumi "I wanted to know if you got your tag yet"

Hisoka "no I have not"

Illumi "I bet you don't even know who your target is do you? Want me to tell you?"

Hisoka "no it doesn't matter to me who my target is, I will just take three other once"

Illumi "well whatever I am close to your poison, I already got mien, and I happen to have a spare one, want it?"

Hisoka "you area quite the friend their Illumi, that would save me some trouble"

A few moments later

Illumi "dame what the hell happened to you did you got mauled by a bear or something," he said

Hisoka "ha, funny," he said sarcastically

Illumi "was I being funny???"

When Illumi saw Hisoka he looked like someone who came out of a serious accident but even then there wasn't a single wound on his body. The perplexed him much, but even then Hisoka didn't want to answer him.

Illumi "wait a moment did you fight the guy you were gawking at"

Hisoka awkwardly averted his eyes avoiding Illumi's line of sight and said "yes". .

Illumi "wow you lost and you're still alive, that is unlike you"

Hisoka "ow I was dying but, he decided to heal me instead"

Illumi "..... Just like that"

Hisoka "no it cost me all my saving plus and I also now ow him a favor,"

Illumi "well if he was able to beat you to that extent he must be insanely strong"

Hisoka "out of curiosity what is the number of the spar tag you got for me"

Illumi "it is not your target but here you go, it belonged to someone pesky ants who tried to snipe me,"

Hisoka "and what of them,"

Illumi "they are dead of course," As he was saying that he started to remove the pins needles out of his face and head.

To disguise himself as Illumi was using large, round headpins to reconstruct his facial structure, musculature, and voice, beyond recognition. When he removed them Illumi's facial structure started to morph and distort to take a different shape, his hair started to grow, and his skin tone started to change. Finally, after the transformation, he now looks young man instead of a man in his thirty. He had very long silky jet black hair and big dark cat-like eyes with no visible purples, and an expressionless. He ruffled his fingers through his black hair combing it back behind his head.

Illumi "now that feels much better"

Hisoka "seeing you do that never ceases to amaze me," he said smiling

Illumi "it does take its take its strain on my body you know, well, I will be taking a nap till the end of the fourth phase" saying that he dug in the ground like a gopher and buried himself there.

Hisoka "well suet yourself, I better get going myself as well," he said getting up

But in all of the excitement he had for the day, he did not notice the pesky little boy stalking him.

On the other hand, Nero was sitting on a cliff overlooking the ocean with nothing better to do. He got his tag, fought no correct that (destroyed) Hisoka, got to experiment with his powers, and all in all had a very good time in this phase. All he had to do now was just relax and wait for the end of the phase. But just then he senesced someone entering his OB range and heading his way.

Nero {dam and just when I wanted to relax and take my time}

After a while, the person came out of the boshes, man of average build and height, with spiky hair. He wears a tunic over a long sleeve shirt, a belt that carries his sheathed broadsword, plain pants, and boots

"OW, it would seem someone else had the same idea as mine this soon in the exam" side the man.

Nero {alfa who is this}

Alfa {he is applicant 34 sir he was the tenth person to pass the third phase of the exam his name is Ryu, sir"

But suddenly Ryu had simile arched over his face when he saw Nero's tag number, he found his target.

Ryu "wow to find my target like this buy chance when I wasn't even looking for you, lady luck must be on my side today," he said drawing his sword

Nero smiled when Ryu said lady luck was on his side,

Nero {pal if she was really on your side she would not have sent you my way} he thought to himself

Ryu "so what is it going to be, the easy way or the hard way?" he said pointing his sword at him,

Nero looked him with a black look,

Ryu "okay then the hard way it is" and so he lunged at Nero with his sword.

Just when the word was about to connect, Nero did a swiping motion with his hand at the incoming word. Ryu suddenly felt the sword in his hand get lighter. and before his mind even got the chance to process what had happened everything went dark. Nero had delivered a very swift chop to the side of his head laying him down for the count.

Nero "well that was productive," he said and trow the broken blade he was holding.

Ryu "waaaaaaaaaaaaaa. wait, what, where am ??" he

Ryu's was dazed was seeing doubles, a strange feeling came over him, he felt like he was suspended and there was no ground beneath him. he looked down he saw the huge was waves crashing against the walls of the cliff. Ryu swallowed his saliva hard and looked at the person holding him by the collar of his neck.

Ryu "what are you going to do?!!" he said suturing, fear displayed all over his face.

Nero " listen to me here bub, I an going to trow you now if you service the fall swim 500 meters to the west the beach is over there. Good-by" and he flanged him of the cliff into the ocean.

Ryu "NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"

{SPLAASH!!!!!}

[Author] {wihc was something I don't know probably thinking of Menchi or something}.

and the days passed like that and five days later it was the end of the fourth phase of the hunter exam. the first one to arrive at the docking aria was Nero, followed by Hisoka, Pokkkle, killua, Illumi Zoldyck, Bodoro, Hanzo, and cutting it close the Gon, Kurapika, and Leorio. These ten applicants are the ones who passed from the twenty-six who tock the fourth phase.

hi, guys how have you been, these past weak, I hop very body has been doing well I hope, the reason I was not posting any chapters was I was kiping up with my inner [Togashi sensei] who tough all of as the art of the hiatus style.

but besides the joke, this weak has ben a bee for me coming off the month of Ramadan and the Eid, the infection in my country suddenly rising, everything is kind of scary right about now. the world is kind of scary place in our time 2020 is officially secured its place in history as one of the shittest years in human history or the beginning of the apocalypse.

all I am trying to say is I hope my fanfic could give you guys a small modicum of escapism when reading it, as it does for me when I am writing it. and if not mine fined anything else. I know I am not the best writer out there, my skills are limited to the amount of my vocabulary in the English language.

writing this fanfic helped me develop as a writer and also {i its just dam fun}. my form of writing is that of a discovery writer mainly, I rarely have outlined the only time I have outlined are for moments I want to happen, like the fight b/n Hisoka and Nero. wich shit you, not I wort that fight scene when I stile writing chapter 10,

but that is enough monologuing here.
