2 Years Of Restarting

Aunt Su paused for a moment before she nodded heavily. "Yes… several men come to us and told us that we're not allowed to tell outsider, especially authorities about what happened back then. In addition, we're also to say that they didn't come uninvited but… you invite them."

Yu Yan was silent for a while before she let out a dry laugh. She invited those two? Those two b*stard who dared to make out in her home so that she could not sue them for trespassing?

What a good pair of b*tches!

"Miss Yu…"

"I would appreciate it if you didn't say that since I never invited those people. But heh, who would believe my words?" Yu Yan asked then turned around. She could guess that Bao Tu must have asked all the people in this floor to do what he asked them to do.

He wanted to make sure she couldn't sue them?

Sure, she didn't mind. She didn't have any plan to sue them for trespassing either because the punishment would be too light for them.

For that pair of cheating couple, she would prepare a different present.

"I'm sorry, Miss Yu." Aunt Su felt that it was really a difficult choice for her. However, she couldn't reject that man's request because she knew that the moment she chose to be the outlier, it would not end well for her.

Yu Yan nodded. "It's alright. I understand."

She would not pursue the neighbors who were simply living around her. It would be too much for her to ask them to side with her, who didn't seem to have any chance to win against such a tycoon.

It would be better for her to stay silent and quietly leave.

"I come here to say that I would no longer live in this apartment. Probably in a few days there will be new person who come to live in 406. I only want to say this."

"As for my belongings, I already take what I need. You can sell tell the owner to sell the rest or just throw it away." There was nothing important after all. Yu Yan didn't bring along anything that was important to her to this small apartment.

Those who were precious to her were buried away somewhere since she couldn't keep it with her. While the important documents were already within her hand since Long Ying had asked his men to retrieve them even before this. Her laptop was still in workplace since she didn't carry it home back then because she wanted to finish her work later. 

Thus, there were only some clothes left that Yu Yan would not even want to touch.

Aunt Su watched as Yu Yan entered the lift. The other door opened and a young woman peeked out. She looked at Aunt Su before the two of them sighed. 

They were just nobodies in this world. If they tried to get involved in matters that involved the powerful businessmen and also those influential people, they would be digging their grave.

They were afraid.

Thus, they made the decision.

Long Ying held Yu Yan's hand when they reached the first floor. "We're going to use the backdoor."

"En."

Yu Yan was quiet as she led Long Ying to the other door. What she didn't realize was that there was a man rushing into the first floor from outside and headed to the lift as fast as he could.

If she had stayed even five second longer, she would be able to see that the man was Bao Tu. 

He didn't only ask the neighbors to fabricate the truth when asked but also for them to tell him when she appeared. That way, Bao Tu would be able to meet with Yu Yan again even if she tried to stay away from him.

Unfortunately, Lan Huo was still outside and naturally saw Bao Tu coming. He directly informed his Boss, which allowed Long Ying to lead Yu Yan through different way. 

Ting!

The moment the lift was opened, Bao Tu ran outside. His eyes scanned the place, which was empty. He read the number on the apartment then walked to one of them before knocking.

The door opened, revealing a middle aged man. He looked at Bao Tu with clear annoyance. "What do you want? I already inform you per our agreement and you promise that you will not bother me anymore."

"Where's she?"

"She already left. You're late."

Late…

Bao Tu gnashed his teeth as he turned around. He had been wanting to wait for her to appear again so that he would be able to ask her to pay for Yu Xin's medical expense.

Even if that woman didn't want, he would like to see how she would react when things didn't happen like what she wanted.

But she had already left. He was too late.

'Wait, maybe she's downstairs.'

With that in thought, Bao Tu rushed to the lift once more and headed to the first floor once more. He swept his gaze around, trying to find the familiar figure amongst the crowd.

Yet his search was futile.

Bao Tu gritted his teeth and started to ask around. However, the people there didn't really pay that much attention to their surroundings when they were already busy enough. 

No one saw the woman whom Bao Tu wished to see.

Ring! Ring!

His phone rang and Bao Tu quickly picked it up. "Hello."

"Bao Tu, where are you? I'm in front of your mansion."

Bao Tu's eyes flashed when he heard what Yu Xin said. His mansion was in City A while he was in City F because he was trying to catch Yu Yan. It would definitely take a long time for him to arrive there.

"Xin'er, I'm sorry, I was away for work trip and I'm currently not in City A…" Bao Tu chose to lie and didn't expose his real reason for going away. He looked at the apartment once more then decided in his mind that it would be futile. He should just follow Yu Xin's advice and let that woman off this time.

But next time, Bao Tu's eyes flashed with ruthlessness.
