2 Years Of Restarting

"Testify?" Yu Yan let out a mirthless laugh. "Even if they can testify and give false statement, do you really think that it's correct for you to say that you only come to visit when you clearly make out on my bed? Ah, don't try to stop my words when I'm not done yet. Do you forget that I have security camera in my apartment?"

Bao Tu was alarmed when he heard what Yu Yan said. If he was not wrong, she did mention about it to him once but he didn't pay attention.

She had returned back to Bungalow Apartment once… did she come back to retrieve the recording? He felt that it was really his mistake to let her come back without inspecting the place properly.

Little did he know that the recording was automatically saved in the cloud. Even if he were to destroy the cameras, Yu Yan had the recording and had copied it to several places for safekeeping.

"You…"

"Don't worry, I have no intention of suing you nor to publish that interesting recording when you two enter my apartment without permission." Yu Yan looked at the couple in front of her. "But of course, I might change my mind if you continue to bother me."

"I'm not bothering you, Sister, I…" Yu Xin was trying to build the image of a good sister while her brain was still thinking of the recording in Yu Yan's apartment. How much did it record?

Was it the entrance? They did come uninvited and they spoke about it when they came in… was it recorded? Those people who could read lips might be able to uncover what they were talking about at that time.

For some reason, she felt that the situation was going worse.

She did know that there were some people who would put security camera at an entrance of their apartment because of security reason. Of course, she didn't think that her sister would be one.

'Why didn't Bao Tu tell me about it if it's true?'

While Yu Xin panicked, Bao Tu also felt worse. He never paid much attention when Yu Yan mentioned about the security camera. Thus, he didn't know where she placed it.

The most plausible option would be the entrance, though.

He was thinking of a method to buy the recording from Yu Yan but he knew that this method might not work. Based on the way she had been treating him so far, he believed that she would not hand the recording peacefully even if he was the one who asked for it.

The thoughts made him feel sour. 

Yu Yan put down the glass of wine and then turned around. "I don't really care either way. I don't have any intention to stay being your sister, so stop being a hypocrite and bothering me like a leech. Do you also want me to publish how you keep on bothering me to the media? They must be very interested to see a capable and uprising young businesswoman searching for her useless sister all day around."

At this point, Yu Xin's face turned red as she trembled in rage.

In City A, there were quite a lot of people who knew their names since Kang Family was not exactly a small family. In the past, Grandfather Kang was even richer than now and had more business but some were already closed down. Only the business that Lei Man had was still going on.

Yu Zheng Tong's business was also related to jewelries but the scale was smaller and couldn't be compared to Lei Man. Still, Yu Xin was living so comfortably all this year thanks to him allowing his daughter to become quite famous and mingle with the upper class society.

Of course, his hope was for his daughter to meet a rich husband.

Yu Yan never cared much about her face because she knew that she was not exactly that remarkable. Her hobby was creating trouble and her sister had already leaked it to public. Ever since she was young, she has always been the embarrassment of the family and it would never change.

Since it was already like that, she didn't mind adding another trending news to bring her sister down. It was very easy to do that since she always equipped herself with recorder whenever she met with her sister and family members. That way, it was easy for her to collect evidence.

She knew that dealing with two shameless people would not be easy. It would be better for her to make sure that she was always prepared and be on her guard so that they would not be able to take advantage of her.

Never ever again, she would let them take advantage of her like what they had done in the past. 

It was not like they would search her body whenever they met.

"Bleh!" Zhou Wei stuck out her tongue and then followed Yu Yan. She was happy when she saw how green Yu Xin's face was.

Hmm, so that annoying woman could make such a face too. Too bad that I can't take out my phone openly to take picture or she'll try to smash it to stop me from taking picture of her.

Zhou Wei left while feeling a bit sad over the fact that she couldn't take picture of Yu Xin's current expression. 

Yu Xin nearly smashed the glass in her hand if not for her good self control. Zhou Wei's reputation was even worse than Yu Yan but since that girl had Zhou Family backing her up, everyone turned blind eyes. In any case, she only liked to play truant and not really harming people.

The words that Yu Yan's said all this time was neither loud nor small. There were some people around them who had heard their conversation but pretended that they didn't hear anything.

Some of their eyes when looking in her way made her felt uncomfortable. 

Internally, Yu Xin continued to curse Yu Yan vehemently. If not because she was trying to keep up her image, she would have tried to rip open Yu Yan's mouth to stop her from spreading such words. 

"Don't be angry Xin'er. This is your aunt's birthday party." Bao Tu stopped Yu Xin from going after Yu Yan.

He was also feeling annoyed and angry at Yu Yan's words, but he knew that she must have realized he paid for those people in her neighborhood. That way, they could rest assured that she would not try to sue them for trespassing.

The matter would surely take a long time and waste too much money. It was not worth it for either party.

But the recording was still bad news. 

"Brother Bao." Yu Xin raised her head. Her eyes had turned red as tears started to linger at the corner of her eyes. It looked like she had suffered grievances and this pitiful expression only made Bao Tu felt heartache.

"Come with me, we should stay away from them."

"En."

Yu Xin lowered her eyes. She was asking Bao Tu to come with her because of two things. First, she did want to slander Yu Yan more but it didn't really work so well since Yu Yan instead talked about unrelated things. Second, she wanted to know how Bao Tu would react when he saw Yu Yan again.

While there was some reaction, it was clear that Bao Tu no longer put Yu Yan in his heart.

A smile formed on the corner of Yu Xin's lips. At the very least, she had managed to snatch the man. As a businessman, Bao Tu's business earned even more profit than her uncle, and the standing as Bao Family Madam was more honorable.

This time, she would make sure that she would get what she wanted.

"Gee, I didn't expect you didn't give them a punch or something," Zhou Wei commented. "If this is in the past, I'm sure you would have already brawled and fight it out with them until there's only one winner."

Yu Yan passed a sidelong glance to Zhou Wei. "We're not kids anymore and even fighting had its limit. Do you think I'll waste my strength beating up every single people who talk bad about me? I'll die because of tiredness before I even finished."

"But she's someone who keeps on talking bad about you."

"Don't worry. I won't let her off, but for now, this is enough." Yu Yan looked at the row of glass beside her but didn't take any. She had already promised Long Ying that she would not drink in this party, which was why she didn't take any of the wine no matter how much she wanted it.

Zhou Wei arched her eyebrows. "Fine, if you say that, I won't interfere with what you want to do."

"Say, Zhou Wei, we only reunited again after 8 years. Do you intend to keep on following me all the time?"
