A Trainer's Tale: Can He Resist A Pokemon's Charm!?

Jeid can be seen patting the head of Aira whilst hugging her absentmindedly. He is currently looking at the descriptions of the abilities that God gave him.

Description: The user releases an aura that makes, even the most hostile and deviant creature, feel comfortable around you. It helps give the user a good impression among the opposite party. Although, it solely depends on the user if he wants to retain that good impression and improve it further. Good impressions are still just an 'impression' after all. You need to earn it, if you want their trust.

Active Effect: Can be used to tame a pokemon with a 60% success rate. You will lose your good first impression if you fail to capture it, though.

Passive Effect: Emit a soothing aura that makes others feel comfortable around 1-meter radius, with you as the center.

Note: It still depends on the user if he can maintain this relationship or not.

Creator's Body

Description: The God of Creation granted you a part of his creation energy. Due to this, your body has gained resilience like never before.

Effects:

• Ultra Resilient Body(Passive)- if the user is able to withstand an attack, you will gain a resistance skill of the energy used in the attack and will learn the skill used to attack you too. It also grants the user a large boost in his regeneration speed.

• Fast Learner(Passive)- Upgrading the level of the user's skills is a piece of cake, the user just needs to practice diligently.

When he first saw his abilities, he couldn't help but be shocked. God really gave him some abilities that can be nothing but overpowered. But he isn't an ungrateful bastard that would complain about it though, he is thankful that he gave him a second chance in life and he promised to live it to the fullest.

But for now, he doesn't have anything to do at the moment. He is still a growing kid, so just some light exercise like 10 push-ups, 10 sit ups, and some light jogging, is all he does. He doesn't want to stunt his growth by training like a madman, while still being a kid.

After some time of spoiling Aira, he scooted aside and placed her on the sofa. He looked at her for a while and said,

"Are you gonna come with me today, too?"

"Of course! I want to learn about pokemon, too! After all, I'm gonna go with Onii-chan to travel the world!" she replied.

Jeid just smiled, looked at her, and led her by the hand.

\\~~Outside the Shmitt Residence~~//

Jeid and Aira are walking hand in hand, on the side of the two-way road. Aira is happily humming and skipping around, while Jeid is just walking normally.

These two are currently headed towards the Town's PokeLibrary. Now, you might be wondering how a futuristic world that can make barriers have a library.

Jeid also asked this question to Grandma Carol, and what she answered was,

"It is required for us to build a PokeLibrary. Aside from those, there is also the PokeHall, where PokeMart, Pokemon Center, United Trainer's Association, also known as PokeGuild, and an exclusive PokeLibrary for trainers, are located. A separate PokeLibrary is built for the civilians, and a PokeSchool for children like you to study in."

PokeSchool is for 5 years old and above. The top 3 who are to graduate in 5 years' time would be able to receive a royal pokemon starter as a reward for their efforts in studying. After graduating, they could also choose to further their studies in a PokeUniversity, where they could learn more in-depth knowledge about pokeology.

After they receive their IDs, they can specify whether they are to be a Trainer, Breeder, Groomer, Researcher, Ranger, Doctor, and etc.

Pokemon League preparations, of the next region, happen once the last Pokemon League ended. Every Region has a gap of 9 months, half a year, as a start of their League. Those who collected eight badges from the gym leaders can join it, with Kanto being the first to open one. That is one of the reasons why Kanto got so many great Pokemon trainers around.

After some time of walking, Jeid and Aira arrived at the library. They greeted the librarian and took a book from a shelf.

Taking a seat at the large table, the two of them silently read the contents of the book. The title of the book says, 'How to Breed the Greatest Pokemon (For Dummies)'.

In short, they are saying, 'It was advised to breed strong pokemon to get a strong offspring'.

'Haaa??? That is all? Don't they know about natures, egg moves, egg groups, and such? There is too much of missing information for a highly futuristic world!' he thought while reading the book.

While he is a bit disappointed, Aira is enjoying the read.

"It's really interesting, right?" she suddenly said.

"What is?" Jeid asked, puzzled.

"Pokemon! I really want to discover a lot about them!" she answered.

"Hahaha, really? Then we have to learn a lot about them, there is a lot of things we need to learn before we can travel by ourselves," Jeid said while patting her head.

"Un! Then, then, we can go to other regions and be champions!" Aira said enthusiastically.

'Yeah, when we reach 15, we can go to Kanto and participate in the League,' he thought with a fiery glint fl.i.c.k.i.n.g in his eyes.

After a few hours of reading some books about different subjects, pertaining to pokeology, they headed home.

While on their way, Aira asked him to sing a song. He agreed and started to sing a song that he really liked when he was in his past world.

"May you have auspiciousness and causes of success~

May you have the confidence to always do your best~

May you take no effort in you being generous~

Sharing what you can nothing more nothing less~

May you know the meaning of the word happiness~

May you always lead from the beating in your c.h.e.s.t~

May you be treated like an esteemed guest~

Please note that this novel is a fanfic of Pokemon. There would be a lot of resemblances, but some ideas about it just popped on my head. (Some are from pokemon theories I saw while browsing and some are from you, dear readers!)

Also, we will call the energies that the pokemon emit as 'energy', like mana in games.
