"Bravo Team, you have the green light"

The Parking lot gates opened up and vehicles sped off. The gates were closed behind them to keep any straggling walkers away. After a few minutes. A loud collision was heard. The bravo team had drove through barriers onto the runway. Mowing down walkers. Bravo team used the last of the 50 Cal rounds at the airport to punch a whole through the horde. The sound of gun fire and light had already started attracting walkers. When bravo team cleared the horde, they drove some ways down the runway then started firing AT4s into the horde to draw more attention. Six vehicles made up bravo team. 20-man team. There was two LMTVs packed full of barrels filled with jet fuel.

"Bravo team keep firing until empty. Send two Humvees out for victory l.a.p to draw more attention"-Bayek

Then plan worked perfectly the commotion start move the horde to the runway .

*click click… click* the bravo team were out of ammo. When this happened the fighters in the LMTVs set the charges and got into the Humvees, driving off to a preset extraction point, leaving the head lights on and the horn blowing. The charges were on a countdown

*Boom!* Gallons of jet fuel had just gone up in an explosion. Miranda and Hazel heard the explosion where they were. Waking the kids out of their sleep looking at each other with faces full of fright, the a.d.u.l.ts just shook their heads "Bayek"

After Bayek was sure the explosions where over he sent Charlie team out. Charlie teams' job was to lead the civilians away from the city. While the other teams fought the war against the horde.

One by on the vehicles left the Parking garage. With the number of vehicles driving off, running through the horde was light work. Bayek made sure the heavy trucks lead the charge. It was a tough ride non the less, only a third of the walkers blocking the garage went to the runway. This alerted Bayek that a variant was close. After a few heavy trucks tipped over, the civilians made it on to a road leading away from the airport. Bayek Radioed again "Zulu team stand by; Alpha team start the second Phase"

Bayek smirked "Bravo team, status?"

To the far west of the air runway. Delta airline had a cargo storage. Bravo team had made their way there, to wait for Bayek and alpha team so that they could all leave as a team.

"Green-light Colonel. Green-light" Bravo team replied

When Bravo team replied, the lights in the airport came back on. And Alpha team triggered and emergency siren. Running full speed from the generator . Alpha team split in two groups. One group went to release the gas line and place a charge. The second group went to place a few charges on the remaining Jet fuel.

"Alpha team coming in hot." They radio running for their lives

"Start those bitches up. It's time to get the hell out of dodge" Bayek shouted and the sound of engines turning echoed through the parking garage.

"Alpha team here. All present Colonel" the team leader of Alpha was a 5'8" stocky black man, who looked to be all muscle.

"then mount up!" Bayek replied, Alpha team jumped in the nearest vehicle and the whole convoy pulled off, the walkers were decently spread out. With some pushing, Bayek's company pulled through with ease. With the bomb explosion and civilian distraction heading on the other side of the airport. Bayek's company went west were the coast was clearing the further the drove away.

Stopping to get Bravo team in line the whole company took a small road off the runaway and drove in the direction Finn, Em, and Miranda.

Bayek tried to lead the company back to his people so they could join up and leave Birmingham. Taking the easiest routes as possible. They made good timing, but it was still a fight to get out of the city. But things started to look up when April finally got hazel on the Radio

An explosion the rocked Birmingham was set off. Bayek had no idea how big it was going to be, but the gas line ran right under the roads leaving the airport. When the airport went up so did the surrounding horde. But for some of the people close enough, on the roads leaving the airport. Didn't make it. They were caught in the blast and it was over before they even realized it.

"RRRAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!" in the distant four pale skinned walkers, with solid stature, bold hair and moon eyes, were crawling out of a manhole, Parts of their bodies were burnt black, from fire.

Sniffing the air, the aroma of burnt walkers gave them sense of hunger. But what they really craved was revenge. Their food supply and potential variant had been all but destroyed. splitting into twos. Two variants went after the civilian convoy and two Variants followed Bayek and his company. This event and similar events around the world had given birth, to what humans would later call stalkers.

They no longer needed humans to evolve. But they hunted humans for pure revenge, to exterminate, to capture as cattle to fatten and evolve the horde. They stalked and killed with utter efficiency.

At the same time, Bayek had connected with Hazel and the rest of the group. Working them into the convoy line. Bayek continued his trip to New Orleans. But he let April lead the way while he sat in the back of the LMTV with the people undergoing the evolution process. Looking at them. Bayek could see the pain they were in. If the process was anything thing like Maggie's, they had some ways to go.

Bayek sat down on the bed of the LMTV and started meditating, revolving his Qi. He followed the same path his Qi took when he was fighting the Horde at the FEMA camp. When he was fighting his Qi revolved a full cycle around the body, through veins and arteries he didn't even know existed. After nine full cycles, his Qi decreased in quantity and increased quality. Quick flashes of the Goddess Hecate begin to flash in his mind. It looked as if she had a message. But Bayek just couldn't make it out. So, he continued for the rest of the trip, refining his Qi, secreting the same black substance as the evolved.
