Adventures Of Bayek: Through The Void And Beyond

December 2nd, 2011, New Delhi, India

"Stark said Klaue should be here. Dr.Sterns, I need you to find out where any significant events or people are staying. Law-abiding and criminals. I want them all"

"Right away Mr. Siwa"

Bayek and Ruby walked the street of New Delhi. Visiting street vendors and shops, to kill time while Dr. Sterns did his job. About 2 hours later, Dr. Sterns reported his findings

"Mr. Siwa. I have a list of notable figures and criminals, along with events."

"Alright, read the list" Said Bayek.

Two minutes into the list Bayek noticed that a summit was taking place for the mining industries. An ambassador from Wakanda is to speak

"Send me that location and monitor the city"

Sometime later Bayek was mingling with hot shots from big-time mining companies, building connections and probing for information. Weaving his way through the room, Bayek finally laid eyes on the Wakandan ambassador.

"Hello Mr. Ambassador, I'm Bayek Siwa" he introduced himself and offered his hand

The ambassador shook Bayek's hand and replied, "Bayek, you have an American accent, but I have to ask, Do you hail from Kenya?"

"Haha, you are mistaken Mr. Ambassador. White hair and blue eyes are the traits you are thinking about and it only appears in the females. Besides their kind is no more if I'm not mistaken."

"Haha, my apologies, but are mistaking Mr. Siwa. I encountered a thief, during my trip to Cairo not that long ago, that matches the description you gave." Said the Ambassador

"Really? Interesting, well good luck on your speech. And will your king be joining us today" asked Bayek

"Our king is always with us" the ambassador smiled and shook Bayek's hand once more before moving on.

The majority of the summit went by without a hitch when it was finally time for the Wankandan Ambassador to speak. Bayek got ready to move.

"Mr. Siwa, I have gunfire and a man matching Klaue's description, 5 miles from your location," Dr. Sterns reported to Bayek.

Bayek got up immediately and left with Ruby in tow. Casting an invisibility spell, Bayek grabbed Ruby and shot off in the direction of Klaue. The sheer speed that Bayek displayed caused a gust of wind that made the cars on the street shake.

Arriving at the scene. Ruby conjured a shield and pulled out her pistol, shooting whoever was shooting at Klaue. Bayek took down the people helping Klaue. Every shot they fired killed a man. With sirens now approaching, Klaue managed to get into a vehicle and drive off.

"Ruby..." Bayek called out.

"I got him… By the chains of Krakkan!" she shouted and massive purple chains shot from the ground binding Klaue's getaway car in one spot.

Approaching the car, the door suddenly blew off its hinges and Klaue hopped out with a mechanical hand cannon. Once he saw Bayek and Ruby, he knew they weren't fun people to hang with. Klaue raised his hand to fire another shot.

Boom! Puff! The shot was blocked by Bayek's shield, lunging forward, Bayek was in Klaue's face before he could register what happened.

Shink! Shunk! The sound of Bayek drawing his knife and cutting of Klaue's weaponized arm happened in a matter of seconds

"Let's go!" Ruby shouted as she maintained a portal created by the sling ring.

Picking up Klaue's amputated arm, Bayek took it and Klaue through the portal and disappeared. The official story that day was an arms deal gone wrong, But Stark and the US government knew exactly what went down. With Ulysses Klaue of the table, SHIELD didn't know whether to celebrate or be worried.

December 3rd, 2011, Johannesburg, South Africa

"Where is the Vibraniun you stole? Tell me or I'll rip through your mind and kill you in the process!" Ruby interrogated him for more than an hour as Bayek watched. He knew Klaue was a tough son of a bitch.

"Enough," said Bayek rising from his chair. Making a few hand gestures, Bayek's hands began to glow brownish-green. Klaue's eyes went wide.

"What the hell are you?" he asked.

Bayek smiled and said, "The consequences of your actions."

Bayek pressed his hands against Klaue's head and extracted the memories relating to the Vibranium and Klaue's money. Pulling back, Bayek looked at a nearly dead Klaue. "Clean him up, good enough for royalty."

Putting on his earpiece, Bayek gave everything he learned to Dr. Sterns. "We need all of his finances by tonight."

"Don't worry Mr. Siwa, I'll take care of everything."

While Klaue was put under a strong sleeping spell, Ruby and Bayek went around Johannesburg and a few other cities in the world collecting Vibranium and sending it back to Medjay Industries, so Dr. Sterns can begin his adamantium production.

The next morning, Bayek and Ruby stood before the Wankandan borders. The border tribe waited, ready to attack. That is until Bayek pulled the hood off of Ulysses Klaue.

"I wish to speak to T'Chaka, King of Wakanda!" Bayek shouted.

A group of men dressed in blue Basotho blankets, riding rhinos with spears appeared a few moments later. One man stood in front of the rest. Jumping from the back of his Rhino, He stepped forward and examined Klaue.

"You caught him?" the man asked.

"Yes, we did." Bayek gestured to Ruby.

The man looked Ruby over and then Bayek, then back at Klaue. "Where is his arm?"

Ruby pulled the severed arm out a bag, slightly shocking the Rhino riding warriors.

"Follow me." The man ordered, turning to one of his warriors, the man spoke in his native tongue and the warrior sped off on the rhino.

Another warrior attempted to take Klaue but was stopped by Bayek. "He's my prisoner until I'm ready to give him up," he said.

From that point on, it was a timely trip to the capital. But Bayek didn't mind, Wakanda was an even beautiful place in person than it was on the big screen. Admiring the views, not a word was said the entire trip.

Stepping off of transport onto a huge platform most likely made of vibranium. Bayek and Ruby were greeted by the royal family and the tribal council.

"Welcome to Wakanda.." the man standing ahead the group spoke.

"This is my wife, Ramonda. My daughter, Shuri. And my son, T'Challa. My name is T'Chaka, King of Wakanda"

Boom! The sound of vibranium spears striking the platform echoed, "Wakanda Forever!" the people shouted in unison with great pride, while pulling their arms to their c.h.e.s.t to form an 'X'.

Bayek smiled, "Haha, That was dope, I liked that." Bayek pulled his arms to his c.h.e.s.t and formed an 'X' as well. Dropping his arms, he said, "Now let's talk business."

After the introductions, Bayek and Ruby were given rooms. They took hot showers and changed into the clothes that were laid out for them.

Bayek wore a burgundy and gold tailcoat dashiki suit with his hair in locs and pent up. Ruby wore a Kaftan dress with a similar color scheme as Bayek's.

As the two walked into the council chambers, the leaders of the Wakandan tribes sat in their perspective seats. Many examined Bayek and Ruby with their eyes. When they looked at Bayek they all drew the same conclusion. 'Meroe'

T'Chaka was the first to speak after the chamber doors were closed, "Outsiders, The last outsider to see Wakanda brought nothing but death to our people. And now you've brought him to us. If it is one thing I know about the outside world, it is that nothing is just given. What is it that you want, Mr.Siwa?" T'Chaka asked. T'Challa watched closely to observe his father's rule.

"I want to save Wakanda, whether you believe me or not. Wakanda is the last hope for our people. And I mean the people that look like us, not just those born in Wakanda."

The elders couldn't mock Bayek, they were a bit shocked.

"Boy, how do you know of Wakanda? What could we possibly need saving from?" An elder asked

"All of Africa knows of Wakanda, the tribes that were touched by the gods and now prosper because of their blessings. You are the Eden of Africa. The one secret that Africans have been able to keep safely away from the colonist that pillage these lands."

The elders looked at each other once more.

"Are you of the Meroe tribe of Kenya?" asked the female elder. The atmosphere in the room became heavy.

"You all worry about the wrong things. I have brought Ulysses Klaue to you, he threatened the security of Wakanda. And now you are almost secure. The only thing left for you, King T'Chaka, is for you to find the boy and right your wrongs. T'Challa will need him and he needs T'Challa." Said Bayek.

"What does he mean?" The elders faced T'Chaka for an answer, T'Chaka stared at Bayek searching for deceit but found known. T'Chaka looked a Zuri, who was just as surprised as he was.

"Erik Stevens. Oakland, California. Born in 1982. You must find him, or Wakanda will face hardsh.i.p.s. That is all I want from you. This is their world, trust them to take care of it. But you must rule until your heart gives out. It is fate." Bayek spoke for the last time.

T'Chaka felt a pain in his heart as old wounds opened. And flashes of the night he killed his brother filled his mind. "I will bring him home, I will make it right" he muttered.

T'Chaka then rose from his seat, he realized that Bayek had no intention of staying or telling the world about Wakanda. He viewed Bayek as a man, Goddess sent.

"Bast has sent a man to fix the course of our kingdom. But for her will to be received, you all must know the truth," said T'Chaka.

T'Challa told the counsel of his brother's involvement with Ulysses Klaue and the night he confronted him. He told of the young prince, he left behind, shocking the elders.

Bayek and Ruby were soon sent away, leaving the elders to discuss matters. When the guards locked their room doors, Ruby used her sling ring to walk into Bayek's room

"What was that all about?" she asked

"Nothing much, I just think two panthers, are better than one. Wakanda would be better tomorrow than it was yesterday. It will take some time, but all wounds require time to heal. It's only natural." replied Bayek.

"So, we caught Ulysses for his vibranium and to help a secret super country?" she asked.

"Haha of course not, we caught that bastard for his vibranium and to rob a secret super country." Bayek used his magic to conjure a model of what he remembered of Wakanda. "We need two things. Heart-shaped herbs and more vibranium. And this is how we get it."

Bayek explained the plan to Ruby and operation: Wakandan Heist was a go. Using his sling ring, Bayek and Ruby arrived at the Hall of Kings where the heart-shaped herb grew. Bayek nodded at Ruby and she took off like a phantom,

Thud! Thud! The sound of bodies dropping resounded like a symphony as ruby cleared the place. Bayek simply nodded his head as he watched the caretakers of the garden hit the floor unconscious.

"We have to be quick," Said Bayek

Ruby immediately opened a portal to Madjey industries

"Dr. Sterns…" she whispered "Dr. Sterns," she whispered a little louder while throwing a rock.

"W-what the f-- oh Ruby!"

"Shhh, we don't have much time. How many of these will you need to conduct experiments and get satisfactory results?" she asked the doctor.

"Half" Dr. Sterns replied without hesitation.

Bayek then slapped his hands together, pulled them apart, then clutched the air, causing the heart-shaped herb garden to break free of the ground. He then moved it to a spot in Medjay industries before Ruby closed the portal.

"Now for the hard part." Bayek opened another portal and jumped through it. For minutes, he and Ruby were free falling.

15, 20, 35 minutes until the tunnel began to darken and the approached the last vibranium transport train. Using their magic, ruby and Bayek slowed themselves down and hovered in front of untapped veins of vibranium.

"Why does it glow blue?" Ruby asked

"I have no idea, but we need to hurry. Try that electric spell you've been working on"

Ruby then formed three hand signs and yellow electricity spark and attack the transport railings. Using a low frequency to change the current to disrupt the magnetic field on an outgoing Vibanimu transport. The transport derailed and flew into a mountain wall before tumbling down.

"Whoa, I got you" Bayek stopped the train with magic, and sent it to Medjay Industries as well before calling it a night.

The next morning, Bayek was woken up by spears in his face. Raising his head from his bed, he looked at the warriors, T'Chaka, and T'Challa. Bayek blinks twice and then fell back into the bed to get more sleep. Everyone looked at each other and then the spears in their hands.

"Are you going to speak? Or?" Bayek spoke from the bed.

T'Challa frowned and said, "Won't you raise for the king of Wakanda?"

"Did you find the boy? Is he back?" Bayek replied immediately

"You outsiders are so disrespectful," said T'Challa

Bayek shot up from his bed and the royal guard pressed spear to his thought, "Disrespectful? Disrespectful is your father killing his brother and leaving his own blood in a world you all despise!" Bayek forced a step further and blood trickled from his neck

"I said my piece, what you do with it is your business. But I will be leaving… Today" Bayek added as we face of T'Challa. T'Chaka put a hand on his shoulder to pull his son back.

"Enough" T'Chaka ordered and the royal guard withdrew their spears

"Follow me," Said T'Chaka as he turned to leave the room.

T'Challa, T'Chaka, and Bayek walked for a moment to let the tension fizzle before the king spoke, "You brought us Klaue, so I have sent people to bring the boy back. Is that really all you request? What if I gift you a heart shaped-herb?"

"Baba!" T'Challa was going to protest, but stopped by his father

Bayek looked confused, "With f.u.c.k am I supposed to with a heart-shaped herb? The only herb I need is marijuana, that shit cures everything."

"He doesn't even know what you speak of" T'Challa pled.

But unknown to T'Challa, his father was probing the depths Bayek's knowledge. The king was informed earlier in the morning about the status of the heart-shaped herb garden and the loss of a vibranium transport that derailed and fell to the depths of the mine. But he saw nothing indicating Bayek was involved.

"Please request anything, you have done a great service to my people. And to my soul" T'Chaka bowed in front of Bayek and he immediately straightened the kings back

"I was just pushing my limits. Please do not bow before me… How far back do your historical archives go?" asked Bayek

"How far back do you wish to go?"

"More than 1000 years," said Bayek, T'Chaka nodded, and Bayek said, "I have a friend, Allow us to return in the future to see the archives and we'll call it even."

"Deal" T'Chaka agreed

For the next couple of days, Bayek and Ruby ended up staying in Wakanda. A feast and party were held, Klaue was executed, and another party was thrown. During that time Bayek was kept under strict watch, none of Wakanda's technology was presented to him. He was restricted to the villages and city markets. The only thing he learned during his stay was how to sew vibranium into clothing.

Though the border tribe treated Bayek and Ruby as an honored guest and taught them how to speak to animals, The border tribe says that all animals still know the language of the ancestors. A time when animals and humans lived side by side, peacefully.

On Bayek's last day in Wakanda, the king finally asked him how he knew of his brother and the son he left behind. Instead of answering the question, Bayek spoke of the changes coming to the world and the need to forge a bond between T'Challa and N'Jadaka.

"They must become brothers, two panthers can sit in the same tree as long as they are brothers. Do not let them repeat the same mistakes as you and N'Jobu. But as I said, you must continue to rule until your heart gives out. Or there will only be chaos. Your brother is gone, now his son is yours. To neglect Him is to fail your people. All the boy needs is time." said Bayek.

T'Chaka released a deep sigh, "Two panthers you say?"

Bayek and the king spent the rest of their time talking about ways to heal N'Jadaka and keep his vision and plans- although altered- for the future alive. And one thing was decided that was crucial to his development. The reputation of N'Jobu must be upheld and N'Jadaka had to be introduced to the world as a Prince of Wakanda, returning his birthright to him.

When Bayek and Ruby finally left, the world discovered a new prince of Wakanda. America had many questions, but all ambassadors were shut out. The execution of Ulysses Klaue was kept a secret to avoid foreign attacks from people hoping to get their hands on vibranium, Wakanda may have retrieved during the process. And finally, T'Chaka naturally sent Wardogs to investigate Bayek and discovered Medjay Industries.
