Adventures Of Bayek: Through The Void And Beyond

Bayek stood at the border of Wakanda and left Ro under the supervision of Zuri, the Shaman of Wakanda. With a bit of information from Bayek and the Ro's characteristic, Zuri took Ro to the records hall and began to teach her, her history.

While Ro studied under Zuri, Bayek returned to Medjay Industries. The first thing he did was read through the archives of Trask industries, thoroughly. At one point in the past every X-men was cataloged by Trask Industries when they were held captive. The sentinel project had went online but was snuffed out early by the government for undisclosed reasons. The technology was taken by Stark Industries, SHIELD took most of Trask's lead scientists causing the company to plummet. They then created what would later be known as the INDEX. Bolivar Trask and William Stryker were buried in prison afterwards. Then one day mutants just became a distant memory. Regardless of mutant history, Bayek opted to stay away for the time being.

In the Lab, Bayek and Dr.Sterns had their feet up drinking beers, It was a good day to be at Medjay Industries.

"What do we do know?" asked Dr.Sterns

"What do you mean?" Bayek asked in turn

"With the help of the darkhold, Banner's genes are isolated, I enhanced the strength of the heart shaped herb, perfected the adamantium production, and created a gamma- ray chamber. So, what's the next step?"

"We get the complete version of the Serum and then we wait. We're missing one last ingredient before begin we combine everything. But the missing piece, isn't on this planet"

"Then how do we get the missing piece?"

"We wait patiently for the road to reveal itself. Until then, I want you to work on making this fortune 500 company. You have the brains, now produce results that will take the world by storm" Bayek down the rest of his beer and the two men drank the night away.

It was January 28th, 2012, Ruby and Ro, were training in Kamar-Taj. Ro naturally was being treated as royalty by the ancient one due to her ancestry as a favored one. Oshtur is the mother Agamotto, the first Sorcerer Supreme. To be favored by Agamotto's mother was to be favored by Agamotto himself... In away.

While the girls were training, Bayek stalked an unsuspecting Steve Rogers while evading SHIELD detection. It wasn't as easy as Bayek originally expected. Those SHIELD bastards were everywhere with portable facial recognition technology. So, Bayek decided to enjoy the peaceful times and allow SHIELD to force him into an audible. Casting an illusion, Bayek entered the gym that Steve spent most of his days. To everyone except Steve, Bayek was a white haired old man.

Inside the Gym, it was a ghost town. Only Steve was there and being the tightly wound soldier he was, he was destroying punch bags in an attempt to vent his anger, frustration, and confusion.

"I know you think that's helping, But it isn't." Bayek called out.

Steve turned around and locked eyes with Bayek. His silver white hair and golden eyes made Steve a bit cautious. "It does the job" Steve replied

"Haha, 5 percent form and 95 percent power. When I first saw you, I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. Now that I see your horrible form and the power you display, you can only be him."

Steve frowned and prepared himself for a fight, something about Bayek made his hair stand. "who do you think I am?"

"You are the man that wasn't even fit to be a soldier, but one day you received an opportunity to become something more and you took it. from a dramatized hero, to real soldier, you defeated HYDRA and ended a war. You are Captain America...You noticed how I never called you fighter?" Bayek finished with a smirk

"Who- are- you?" Steve asked defensively

"A fan...Come on, let me give you the training you should have received once you were given your upgrade. Learning from experience is good and all, but having a bit of structure never hurts and it will help you better utilize that strength of yours" Bayek dropped his bag and walked to the ring.

taking a few moments to contemplate, Steve soon followed. As the two stood in the ring, they stared each other down "What can you possibly teach me, kid?" Asked Steve

"For beginners, you're completely enhanced and yet you move like you're running underwater. if it wasn't for your speed, you'd be dealt with. Your reaction time is deadly, but if you stopped reacting and just acted you'd be a true reaper. Every punch you through is at 100 percent, when you only need 20 to crush a sternum. The serum makes you feel mighty, so you leave yourself open to attacks. but none of this matters because no one is at your level, that is until Tony Stark puts on a metal suit and whoops your a.s.s."

The two men circled each other and then engaged in a spare. It started at the strength of an average human and the raised until Steve's strength peaked. Bayek exploited every flaw, changed levels, and hit places that steve was too stiff to block. the spar worked muscles that were enhanced, but Steve had never used. But the more they fought, the calmer Steve became and the more his character began to show. He didn't give up, but learned from his mistakes on the spot.

When the two finished their spare, Steve was drained and Bayek could finally see the full extent of the serums power and it was a force to be reckoned with. Realizing the time, Steve took his leave and invited Bayek to another spar.

Finally at home, Steve picked up his house phone and attempted to call Fury, only to find his phone jammed. Without warning, red plasma liked cords restrained Steve. The spar with Bayek had done a number on Steve, leaving him exhausted. But, before he could muster strength, he felt a sharp pain in his neck and the world around him went dark.

Bayek then strapped the man to a table and proceed to conduct spinal taps and bone marrow biopsy. the room was quite as Bayek worked, too quiet for Steve's neighbor.

Knock! Knock!

Bayek looked towards the door for a moment , the started to wrap up his work. Boxing the samples and collect his equipment, Bayek took Steve to the room and put him in bed. As steve hit the mattress the front door opened and his neighbor entered the apartment armed and vigilant. Using the sling ring, Bayek escaped without a sound. When Steve's neighbor found him. She left his house and gave a report to Fury about the old man that worked Captain America into an exhaustion induced sleep.

Meanwhile, at Medjay Industries, Dr. Sterns was being presented with all he needed to create a perfected super-soldier serum. And that's exactly what he did. With the Darkhold in Dr. Sterns' hands, Scientific advancement was all he knew, coupled with his mutated super brain. Dr.Strens was easily one of the world's greatest minds.

Three days is all it took to synthesize the original super soldier serum from the samples Bayek had brought. The moment the serum was completed, Dr.Sterns began combining the heart shaped herb, Banner's absorption abilities, and the serum. Dr.Sterns was met with many failures due to the volatility of Banner's abilities.

Taking a break from his work, Dr. Sterns found Bayek watching multiple news feeds around the world.

"Mr. Siwa, may I ask what it is you wish to achieve?"

"To be frank, I want to hold the Infinity stone with my b.a.r.e hands and wield their power. whatever Banner has in him, will allow me to do just that. The herb and the serum is to help break through the pinnacle of humanity. That's the thing about the stones, no matter what you are, if your body and energy isn't at the level of a celestial. the stone will only bring death"

"There has to be more though, I know you don't think what we're making here can turn you into a god." Stearns was a bit sceptical about Bayek's reasoning.

"you're right. In a place called Asgard, there's a stone tablet that holds a formula. This formula creates an elixir that unlocks the full potential of a race. turning whoever drinks it, into the god of their people. They also have Uru, an extremely strong metal. we will mix it with vibranium to create a new type of adamantium."

Dr. Sterns thought for a moment and added in the information that Bayek had told him. "Indestructible bones and body" he muttered

The heart shaped herb and serum, had god like potentiel in itself, it enhanced the abilities of the consumer. but what if the consumer was already otherworldly strong... It was a theory that Bayek wised to prove factual.
