An Innocent Heart Longing For Love

Luyisa sat opposite to Anna in the clean and bright study room and waited for Anna to start talking, she smiled vibrantly to her in an encouragement to open up, but in opposition to what she expects, Anna's first sentence wiped the smile away from her face.

"Auntie! I want to unlock Grandmother's Will and see for myself, what was there waiting for me." Anna asked.

Luyisa replied in a serious tone, "Are you talking for serious! you are too young to handle what is waiting for you, Anna!"

"I am tired of hiding, Auntie! I should prepare myself for whatever that's been waiting for me for so long. In some day, I must be forced to face it. So, I wanted to be ready, please help me equip for the worst in the future." Anna's eyes gleamed with determination.

Once weak Anna was nowhere there to be recognized, Luyisa gazed into her deep eyes and believed that it was time to tell Anna about everything she knew.

"Anna! Come closer to your aunt. Come here, my child!"

As Luyisa commanded Anna walked around the table and dragged the nearby chair to sit even closer to her aunt. Luyisa took Anna's hands into hers and stroked it gently, Anna seemed petrified by studying at the serious expression on her aunt's face.

Luyisa breathed in before she spoke, "Anna! Do you know that your Mom and I are high school friends?"

Anna shook her head in disbelief, she knew very well that her aunt was blood-related to her father as she was her father's cousin. But she never once heard that her mother and her aunt are childhood friends, now she can relate why her aunt was always too kind to her.

Luyisa continued, "There was one more person who was so close to us and he was your Mother's best friend, His name is Clayton."

"Clayton?! Symonds corporation's current CEO name is Clayton. Does both of them are the same?" Anna looked perplexed.

Luyisa smiled at her daughter-in-law and started describing the most important person who was supporting Anna in shade.

"You are smart, Anna! Yes Indeed, he was our best buddy. He was an orphan and he had no one up to look for. It was your mother first recognized him, on the outer layer he looked like a freak and no one knew how soft and fragile his heart was.

Kathy who was always a soft-hearted person just the way you are, helped him in secret leaving him snacks and some bucks in his backpack while he goes for practicing basketball. To be honest, I didn't like him much he was a complete jerk, I never understand what Kathy saw in him that made her do all this.

I even believed that she has fallen in love with that freak. But no! She didn't love him but saw him as a human who needs affection like any other in this world. Kathy was too unique..." Luyisa's eyes were glimmered with admiration towards her best friend.

Anna halted Luyisa, "Auntie! I don't understand what does my mother got to do with my Grandmother's Will?"

"It got everything to do with the 'WILL'. Once you know full well about the past, You will get the lead to find what you are looking for. I must warn you that I myself don't know why people are chasing you."

Anna looked confused, 'how could no one knew who was behind the notorious activity, there must be a lead.'

"Okay!" was all that Anna managed to say.

Anna Smiled at her aunt and reminded her, " My mother was unique..."
