An Innocent Heart Longing For Love

Anna and her aunt entered the airport with a small army of bodyguards. Anna wore a long-sleeved black sweater and a short sky blue skirt which exposed her fair milk white t.h.i.g.h, her knee-high black boots covered the vast area of the exposed skin. She looked like a high school girl, although the determination in her eyes conveyed otherwise.

Luyisa halted on her track when she noticed a small cafe in the corner, "Anna! Aren't you hungry, you must be hungry! How did I forget it? You were running a fever. Oh my, come closer, Let me check your temperature."

Anna caught her Aunt's hand before touching her forehead and whispered back smiling, "Aunt, You are embarrassing me! I am fine. We can eat when we are boarded, let's not waste time."

Luyisa held her daughter-in-law's hands and walked forward, as they moved further inside they noticed their path was blocked and there were guards everywhere more than the usual.

Luyisa turned to Anna's bodyguard and questioned, "What was happening, why the routes are all blocked?"

"Let me investigate it, Madam!" saying so, he walked fast to the security room to inquire.

He arrived back in a short time to report, "A VVIP is boarding, so the security has been tightened. We need to wait only for a few more minutes, he has already reached the airport and the venue would be cleared soon."

When the guard finished his report, an army of well- trained guards entered the venue. In the middle of the well-armed men, An handsome young man wearing a silver mask revealing only his tender lips and fair white chin walked majestically.

His black elegant suit gave a contrasting look against his white chin highlighting his smooth red lips.

Anna averted her gaze immediately feeling fl.u.s.tered. 'Ahh... Is he a witch? Ahh... Just don't look at him.'

When Anna was having strong internal conflicts, she heard her aunt mumble, "Is it, Mr.Shaw?"

"Mr.Shaw? Is he?" Anna tuned her gaze on the man and her mouth hung open with shock and disbelief. 'Is this called, enemy walking on a narrow path.'

"Mr. Jacob Shaw, The CEO of BMF Corporation. He was the one threatening Symonds Corporation and making things difficult for your father. I wonder where he is heading now?" Luyisa completed the sentence for Anna who was still in a daze.

The elegant men returned his gaze on Anna as if he felt the peering gaze on him. It took half a minute for Anna to realize that she was goggling at him, 'Awkward!!!'. Before she could avert her sight, she noticed that he stopped on his tracks as if he was also shocked to see her standing there.

A small grin spread on the mysterious young man's face, His gaze made goosebumps raise on Anna's hands, She immediately concealed herself behind her aunt. He swayed his head in amus.e.m.e.nt and walked ahead not looking back.

'Do he recognize who I am? Oh damn...

Wait! Why did he just snicker, am I looking like a clown... Just wait, you fool... my Godfather will pull your legs down.'

"Madam! the path is cleared, we can proceed." the guard voice made Anna to snap out.

All the earlier smile from Luyisa's face was wiped away after encountering the mysterious young men, "Fine! Anna, let's go."

Luyisa felt a bad omen was sinking in, 'Why is he here?'

Anna followed her Aunt swiftly and waited for the boarding process to end. Once they safely boarded, she whispered the query lingering in her mind, "Aunt! Does anything wrong with the current state of the father's position in Symonds Corporation? Did father tell you anything?"

Luyisa sighed heavily and answered her, "Yeah! Clayton arranged a board meeting to decide the next dominant shareholder in the Corporation. He was acting outrage lately towards Edward.

Your father asked me to bring you home to open the WILL. Although I didn't like the idea, we still need to co-operate."

"Why would Godfather strike all of a sudden?" Anna scrutinized the situation, after some time of consideration, a spark enlightened her thought like a puzzle piece fit the picture perfectly, "Did Godfather found that I am married, So he stopped refining his hatred and started attacking father."

Luyisa's eyebrows shot up and wondered in shock, "Why didn't I think that? Ahhh... Won't he give me a break? Your father was dying in anger there. Clayton, I hate you!"

Anna smiled at the frustrated woman sat next to her and said, "Can I accompany father when going for the board meeting. That might put an full-stop to the war between them."

"I will talk to your father then, Hmm... It is also good for you to take part in the company matters. Ahhh... My little bird has grown up, I feel like celebrating."
