Stats:(Wererabbit lords debuff stats reduced by 60%)

The wererabbit general appears to have a higher level than me, and I also know other players had been able to beat him, but I don't know how. I might not have a real strategy to fight him, but I know I can win... as long as that debuff remains. I had been curious as to why the general was weaker than the warriors, but now it made sense, but I still don't get why there's even one on him in the first place.

Even with the debuff his health, damage, and speed are all very high. It made me wonder how did those players even beat him without quick steps? His high movement speed makes it nearly impossible to dodge any attack without having to use quick steps and activating it only makes our movement speed about equal for 10 seconds. I need to be careful on how I use quick steps I highly doubt I will be able to kill him within that time frame. Maybe I should use it right away so I can have it back up near the end of the fight. Yeah, that sounds good to me, I'll go with that.

"Grag!GRaga!" The wererabbit general yelled at me. I figured he was pissed about me killing so many of his young wererabbits. He jumped off his table and pointed his hand at me which started to release a purple-black glow it seems he started chanting a spell.

"Grogrograh"

I got a notification afterward saying that my armor has been decreased by 50% which I figured wasn't as bad as it could have been since I only had six armor anyways. I activated quick steps and attacked the general -31 appeared above the general, but he seemed unfazed as he started chanting another spell.

"Grograaagogrof"

This time I got a notification that my damage has been lowered by 30% which was unfortunate however during his spell casting I had been able to attack him twice more as his spell as he's leaving himself wide open. I had hit him for -31 for the first attack as he was still chanting but only-13 for the second as he finished his spell. The debuffs said they lasted for 30 sec which was that bad but doable.

Instead of casting more spells he then pulled out his long sword and swung at me. I still had quick steps up for a few seconds, but even then I barely managed to dodge to the side. I followed up with another attack I dealt a critical -20 damage I was a bit unhappy that I didn't land a crit before the debuff, but I guess I should be happy about hitting one in the first place. I still had the ring of the giant's ability I could use. I was hoping to try and wait for the debuff to go away so I can maximize my damage, but if It comes to it, I might have to use it early.

"Grograhgref"

He chanted another spell this time his sword glow black-purple, but it also had a hint of green which I was worried about as it might be poisoned. His poison affinity was 100% if that hits me it might be over. Quick steps had already ended so I had to dodge which just my base movement speed. I jumped back as hard as possible could and thankfully the attack barely nicked my armor, but it didn't apply damage. I imagine it was because it was not a clean hit. I could only counterattack now that quick steps was on cooldown. My base movement speed was much slower than the generals so I decided to try and make as much space between as I could, and I retreated a few steps. I was waiting for him to charge me, but then I noticed that he just stood there looking at me. I found it strange, so I checked his status, and he appeared to be paralyzed. I guess that the last attack was one of his strongest and if that had hit me I would have probably lost this fight.

I decided to take the initiative and attack him after waiting a few more seconds. There appeared to be no timer on his debuff, but I decided to play it safe and try to hit and run. I landed my attack for another -13 however it seems his debuff wore off right as I had struck. I didn't have time to dodge or make space so naturally, his attack landed dealing -42. I quickly attacked again dealing -13 more damage and jumped back not wanting to let him get another easy hit, but naturally, he jumped after me. I couldn't hope to be faster than him without quick steps, and it was on cooldown for two more seconds, so I attempted to sidestep the attack. However, it still hit me anyways. Taking another -42 I tried making some distance between us and by some time. Quicksteps was back up, and the attack debuff only had five more seconds once it was off I intend to use both the ring and quick steps together if I hope to win I need to put in some damage as he still had 430 health while I only had 181 health left.

"hehehe, gegregreowgroaf."

He seemed to laugh at me then chanted another spell I got a notification that said you have been poisoned and will take -10 damage every 3 seconds. Well, that was some bullshit right there he could of use that at the start, and I'd probably be dead right now, let's assume there a reason he couldn't use it at the beginning and move on. The debuffs wore off, so I activated the ring and quicksteps together leaping at the general. I land a clean hit dealing -147 in response he jumped away from me and started chanted another spell.

"GOGOGOGRAG!"

A faint purple shield then appeared around him however I didn't have time to wonder what it did so I just continued my attack assuming it's only going to block some damage, but as I landed my attack+147 appeared above him. Well f.u.c.k… I quickly checked his status it said the shield would only last two more seconds which means I would have 6 sec left to try and kill him after it was gone. He swung his long sword, and I attempted to dodge, but he still landed the attack on me for -39. He activated another skill to quickly attacked again, and I hadn't expected, so I took a clean hit for -50. His shield finally wore off. So lunged at him swinging my sword landing another clean hit dealing -147. I was getting worried as my health was down to about 40 lucky my next attack was a Critical hit for -220 leaving him with 63 health, but he also finished chanting a spell.

"Grufgruf grafa!" he yelled in an extremely hateful tone. I could tell he was pissed off, but I didn't really care as I was trying to kill him anyway, but suddenly a black pool appeared below him and s.u.c.k.e.d him in like a vortex of some sort. It was one of the most gruesome scenes I had ever seen as it tore him apart I gagged at how realistic it was. Suddenly a giant black egg comes up laying were the general had been I check its information.

-Black egg of the general.-

Description- Contains the general spirit sacrificed in an unknown ritual. It is too hard for you to break.

Well, that was a bit anticlimactic, but I guess I should just be happy I won. I wonder what this egg is for, but as I was pondering it use, suddenly a purple pool appears below it s.u.c.k.i.n.g in the egg as it disappeared and I hear an echo from the pool that says.

"Hmpf what an annoying human you are you better not get in our way or you will come to regret it."

I had no clue what just happened, but I'm assuming that was the voice of the wererabbit lord. I looked down the hill to check on Silica's fight it seems the wererabbit warriors were moving much slower now as even I could see their movements, but I still couldn't check their stats. They weren't landing any hits on the white tiger anymore and contuined to miss, so it came as no surprise that not long after they began to fall one after the other. Taking a look around there didn't appear to be anymore wererabbit. It looks like they all ran away after I killed the general. I looked at my health it seemed the poison effect went away after the general died thankfully so. That battle had taken me down to 20 health, and it would have s.u.c.k.e.d to die in such a pathetic manner right after I just won, although I'm rather curious what deaths like in this game. I walked over to check on Silica as she was sitting down taking deep breaths. It seems to have been a hard battle for her, and her white tiger appears to have disappeared.

"Hey, you all right?"I asked

"I'm fine... and thank you for what you did," she said in a soft voice.

"Oh?"

This was a surprise I hadn't expected her actually to thank me, but I guess she just an NPC and there's bound to be some things not perfect.

" I thought you were gonna yell at me or something. You know You'd be much more pleasant to be around if you acted more like this."

She gave a huff of anger "Even I know when to be grateful for the help I'm not like some ungrateful humans that don't know how to keep their mouth shut for once."

"Ouch, I feel hurt!" I just laughed off her comment.

"So what happened to the chief did he get ambushed?"I asked

"Not while I was there but he's pretty strong for a stone giant, he wouldn't have fallen so easily."

"Well let's go check on him anyway," I said.

I lent a hand to help her up, but she ignored it and got up on her own.

"I'm that weak newbie."

I gave a light sigh and asked, "Can't you at least call me by my name. I feel like I deserve that much after the help I gave you."

I didn't like being called a newbie but if she had to call me a nickname, I would rather it be something different.

A somewhat pained look flashed over her face. "Do I have too?"

Why does it look like I asking something challenging? It's not that hard to call someone by there name.

She noticed my confusion and explained, "I wouldn't mind calling you by your name if you hadn't picked such a dumb name. I mean don't you know names are important?"

"What do you mean? I picked this name because I've used it a lot in the past. Is there a problem with this name?"

"Didn't the messenger angel inform you? When you picked your name?"

I'm assuming she means the starting NPC and now that I thought about it she didn't tell me much. Except for that one time, I when I was picking my race, so she gave some input, but she never did so for anything else.

"Not really... she answered questions I asked, but she didn't tell me anything important of her own accord. So what's the problem with having a random name? I didn't think it was going to matter."

She scowled "How lazy of them…, fine... I'll tell you since you help me out. Names are sacred things engraved on your soul and although your name doesn't matter on this island. Once you leave the island, you'll realize the importance of a good name, for starters people will treat you better. A good name could also be seen as something equivalent to prestige, and it will severely lowered it if you have a bad name. If you become famous and although I highly doubt you will, people will naturally respect you more and have an easier time remembering your name. There are also other uses to a good name but their worldly secrets not easily told to outsiders. The messenger angel should have informed you of all this already. I had wondered why your name was like that."

That sounds like it could turn into a problem fast once I'm off this island why didn't they tell me before I picked? I hope I can change my name.

"That is indeed a problem can I still change my name or is it too late?"

"You should be able to change it once to talk to the angel again although once you leave the island, it's hard to find another chance to talk to her. However, at the end of this mission, you should meet her again, and she should explain everything about the world to you."

That was a relief I would have been somewhat peeved If I hadn't been able to change my name. As I calmed down in relief, a thought occurred to me. How does Silica know all this? I thought she was just a part of God's test just like the rest of this island?

"How do you know all this? Aren't you a part of god test as well?"

"Well... yes and no, but let's say it's part of the test and that, and that I can't tell you the reason while we're here. You can ask the angel when it's over, but I can at least say that not everyone here is completely a fabrication for gods test, and there just merely borrowed."

That answer was starting to annoy me, just the fact that they couldn't tell me anything because I was still on this island is just the worst, but I guess I just have to be patient. Well, I suppose I should start thinking of a new name. If I had known that sooner I wonder if Silica would have treated me better? Also now that I think of it, Felix has his name somewhat normal even if it is called Hanson Devil. I wonder if I need a last name like him?

"Well that's to know but what name should I go with?" I asked.

"Well, that's not for me to decided but, If you want advice, I could recommend a name for you, if you'd like?"She said relatively kindly.

"That would be helpful since I don't know what people in this world would like as a name."

"Well since you called yourself Dragonsong beforehand I would recommend Al'thusa. It is the name of a famous dragon in ancient history."

"Al'thusa huh, that's not to bad but don't I need a last name well?" I asked

"It's smarter not to give yourself a last name as last names are more important than you realize. If you give one to yourself, it could just make things harder for you in the end. For example, if you were to be bestowed a last name by the king, it could hold more power than just a self-created name and If you already had one the king might not have even bother rewarding you although I can't really stop you if you want to make one for yourself."

Thank you Silica, I'll go with the name you recommend then, and you can start calling me Al'thusa even if it's technically not my official name yet."

"Well at least it not as bad as your current name, fine Al'thusa it is then," she said.

"Why did you say that as if you hated it? you picked it."I smirked.

"Lets just got meet the chief already!" she barked in retort.
