Between The Worlds

While Raphel once again entered the world of dreams, Elaine decided to go further alone. However, she still couldn't leave Raphel alone here, thus, she took him onto her back as she tied him to herself and carried him.

The elf beauty was truly strong beauty! Enveloping her body with wind elements, she still could run nimbly even while carrying the useless snakeman!

Looking at the dungeon's corridor, it would be lie, if she said she didn't get scared a little. After all, such good looking dungeon truly means it's special.

"Light."

Simple word yet very useful as the light ball appeared in this quite dark corridor. Lighting the way for Elaine, the light ball began move forward and the elf closely followed after.

'One special room means that there must be only boss!'

And just like Elaine thought, at the end of the corridor, the enormous hall welcomed her. In the middle of this hall was monster with its eyes closed. With crossed arms, the monster was emiting prideful aura full of dominance just like his weapon next to him, club!

The grotesque face of his although calm, was still disgusting to the beautiful elf. Its big nose was releasing steam each time it breathed. And with his tall height, Elaine knew that she has to sharpen her arrows with magic to tremendous level.

"Troll..."

Troll's hide is quite thick and hard to penetrate through. That's why, Elaine was already putting a sharp wind around her arrows. It was as if the whirlpool appeared on the tip of those arrows as it began spiraling.

And monster in the middle already realized that someone had come here. Opening his eyes, the temperature of the hall became even colder as the chill passed through Elaine's slim back. Getting startled a little, Elaine released her arrow earlier than she wanted.

The arrow quickly went forward and in the middle, it split into several arrows with the same, sharp whirlpools.

Troll seeing this, brandished his club as it clenched tightly. One swing was enough to take most of the arrows and even send after waves towards Elaine.

Seeing those wind waves, Elaine jumped quite high up and released more arrows this time with even sharper winds. However, even this got counter perfectly as troll opened his mouth!

Roooooar!

Releasing cold breath, the troll freezed those arrows which made them to obviously fall motionlessly. Then, as Elaine was still high in the air, she became an easy target for the troll's club. Taking a swing, the monster clenched his club even tighter as he threw it towards Elaine.

And Elaine who was in the air was truly easy target as with her current level, all she could do was float in the air. However, Elaine had already experienced such attack in her journey!

Controlling the light ball she had summoned in the beginning, she moved it towards herself and stepped on it changing the positions!

During all of this, she had used tremendous amount of her magic, thus, she knew that if she doesn't end this battle quickly, then she will lose her life... and Raphels...

But the boss is both smart and strong. As she landed nimbly on the floor, the troll itself was already charging towards her like a tank! Narrowing her eyes, the elf beauty already prepared another arrows to shoot forward!

When Elaine was fighting, Raphel truly landed in the dream land! At least, that's what he thought. Because even though everything was black, he still could think and feel something properly. As if he only closed his eyes...

Thinking that something is strange, Raphel decided to do nothing and let it go by itself! But doing nothing in the black world was truly boring and Raphel quickly got annoyed...

'Let's search for energy core!'

And so, Raphel began thinking about energy core. Five minutes passed and the horrifying roar once again scared Raphel out of his wits. Although he couldn't feel his body, he knew that he is definitely shivering!

Soon, Raphel tried to open or even close his eyes to make this blackness disappear. But as he couldn't feel his body, there was no way he could feel his eyes. However!

The golden light shone in this black world! Raphel had to look at it, even though he didn't want to! Soon, the bright golden light formed and eye... the eye that looked scary complete opposite to the beautiful eyes of Elaine!

It was as if demon's eye! If Raphel could faint in this black world, then he already would be sleeping. But what happened was opposite to the fainting... Raphel woke up and immediately closed his eyes...

Just one glance of those dark red tiles caused him to shiver. But the smell of something steel like caused Raphel to feel worry...

'B-blood?'

Opening those coward eyes, Raphel realized that his shoulder and arms were wet with blood. But he didn't feel any pain, thus, he curiously turned around... only to see Elaine full of blood and huge bruise on her waist...
