"E-Elaine..."

The sight was truly scary! Raphel could even see a bit of her bones as the cuts were so deep. Her leather armor couldn't do its job anymore as it had been destroyed thoroughly and she had very little of the remains of her armor on herself.

It obviously made Raphel tremble as he realized that right now, she is fighting someone! But what was more important was that she had carried him with herself during fighting. As Raphel untied himself from her back, he asked quietly.

"Why didn't you leave me at the entrance?"

But Elaine didn't answer him. She simply didn't have strength to... As Raphel turned around to face her properly...

"HYAAAAAAH!"

He fell on his b.u.t.t as he noticed the troll. Its thick brown skin was drenched in green blood, but he definitely was in better state than his companion. The boss was leisurely taking out the arrows from his body as it stood showing its dominance!

The monster was so tall Raphel felt as if ant... Ant that is going to be crushed soon... Then, the troll moved its club... the length was that of three times Raphel's height...

'Oh my f.u.c.k.i.n.g god. This is the end!'

"Sorry... Raphel..."

"W-why are you apologizing?!"

He came here on his own! Still, Raphel didn't want to die! As he still has his body on Earth, there was still chance of him surviving, but Elaine...

'Whether this world is dream or not doesn't matter!'

Raphel decided that it's time to repay Elaine! Right now, he has only one option... to let his instincts take over him and beat the monster! Although he wasn't sure if his instincs are enough, Raphel had to do something before monster ends Elaine's life...

However, as he looked around, Raphel noticed a golden c.h.e.s.t. It was glorious and he immediately realized that it is dungeon reward!

'People fight becaue they want something. More danger means more rewards!'

Since it's special dungeon and boss is strong enough to beat Elaine, the reward must be definitely good... good enough to let them escape from here!

As he found another way, Raphel sighed in relief. The truth was the he simply didn't want to experience another pain... another misfortune!

"Elaine... can you take him for at least one minute?"

The elf glanced at Raphel. His eyes looked bright compared to before when he got scared of dungeon... thinking that he might be finally useful, she nodded.

If she wants to gather full attention of this boss, then she has to unleash all remaining magic... It might be deadly, because if one loses all magic, one also loses control over one's body!

Still, she had no idea how to escape from this dungeon... so she complied as the wind current enveloped her whole body.

Raphel feeling the wild wind moved. As quickly as he could, he sprinted towards the c.h.e.s.t. Both boss and Elaine became stupefied as they saw his target... Soon, the troll give up on Raphel as one's can not open the c.h.e.s.t while boss is alive...

'I didn't tell him that!'

Elaine cried inwardly, but comforted herself thinking that Raphel might have a way... Soon, she released a volley of arrows!

While Elaine began her last attack, Raphel nimbly approached the golden c.h.e.s.t. It was shining brightly and when he tried to open it...

[Defeat the boss first.]

He got message in a window similar to that of chat...

'No f.u.c.k.i.n.g way!'

However, as he held the c.h.e.s.t, Raphel's eyes suddenly flashed with golden light as well. It was for a second, or even less so no one noticed it, even he himself. After this sudden flash, the c.h.e.s.t magically opened by itself...

Inside, Raphel found out the bottle of liquid... it was as if rainbow, shining with various colors looking especially beautiful. But Raphel felt like his chances of survive became zero...

Grabbing the bottle of liquid...

While Raphel was thinking that this is absurd, he suddenly could hear Elaine scream!

"Aaaaaaah!"

'Space... space! Isn't that similar to portals?!'

Opening the bottle, Raphel decided to drink it. Since it's in liquid form, then it has to enter his body through mouth... that was obvious but Raphel still was a little scared that he is going to waste this... After he drunk the whole bottle...

Misfortunes... on every step, Raphel felt misfortunes... he felt as if this journey to other world is his punishment for laziness on Earth...

Raphel cried as he had to make a choice quickly.
