"The voices are muffled now."

Ezlynn pointed while my heart became restless, different thoughts occupied my mind.

"It's the end of me. Oh my it's the end of me. Your King must be coming to kill me that's why it's so quiet. Oh Lord where I suppose to hide?"

I was panicked, the more they tried to calm me the more my condition worsened. Of course the kingdom lost it's many agriculture and fodder, which effectively could bore them good economy.

As per people's thinking it was because of me but the reason was the acrid rain.

"I have lost all my magic abilities how will I protect myself now ?"

It was the truth in these five days I lost all my powers including that supernatural hearing. Behind my tough exterior lied a powerless creature among these masters of magical cultivation.

No wonder why there wasn't any old being because they were immune to every disease and to ugliness of old age. The things I learned from my friends and created a hypothesis that these people had a powerful cultivation and were sort of immortal unless killed by s.u.c.k.i.n.g their souls dry with the help of strong magic.

Like that soldier tried that chain on me, luckily it hugged my body for short span and I got saved but lost all my powers.

"We will stand by your side milady. Don't you worry please."

Seren assured me warmly.

"But how will you guys.....you are servants here. Your king will not listen to you even a bit."

Though I didn't like anyone here except these three, how could I endanger their lives to save mine. When the chances were slim too.

"No-no one will step in front of me. It's an order from your lady."

I glared at them forcing them to follow what I ordered.

"But...."

They were persistent but I didn't wanted them to lose their lives for a mere stranger.

"CAN'T YOU JUST PUT THAT IN YOUR LITTLE HEADS ?"

Gritting my teeth I snapped forward for one's neck. I halted in front of Ezlynn and went for her soft neck, grabbing it tight. My iris shrinked closely resembling to a snake.

"Aren't you afraid now that I will rip off your head ?"

I hissed with a whisper, clearly I could see confidence in her sparkling eyes.

"No I'm not. If ever wanted that you could have pushed us on the front line to save yourself."

My lens turned to normal at once. Those words were salvation for me before dying. Tears swelled up in my green eyes.

"No matter what we will stand by you even if you refuse. All our lives we have served these people devoid of any humanity. You are the one whom we consider our master. So let us serve you in every way."

Ezlynn cupped my face and presented her thoughts. I looked at Seren who was wiping her tears from cheeks and Eire who nodded in agreement. Don't know why but the sight of strong bonding brought smile to my face.

"Come 'ere."

I called the three and four of us hugged tightly without any discrimination and fright in our hearts. We were ready to present our heads for each other.

"This is something rare to find. You know how precious this friendship is ?"

I questioned to inquire what they had in their minds.

"UuMm.....it's like we are SISTERS !"

Eire chuckled nervously scratching her cheek. I patted on her shoulder, it was more of a smack.

"Yes you are right my love. We are sisters now from different worlds, from different mothers but with same warm heart."

In those happy moments we forgot what was lurking on our heads.

"Oh I forgot give me some moments I'll some news of today's happening."

Ezlynn made a panicked expression and left the chamber in hurry. While we plopped on the bed waiting for the king or guards with guns to barge in and kill us instantly.

[Half an hour later]

Ezlynn walked in with a long face, hand curled into fists. Anger was visible on her face, she was breathing heavily.

"Why this much despair ?"

Seren questioned shaking her up in the position.

"Don't tell me he is going to kill us. If that's what you are gonna say then keep your mouth shut. Oh heavens please save us."

Eire prayed joining her hands together up in the air.

Seren shook her again reverting her attention from Eire and her judgement towards Ezlynn.

"Tell us girl what happened ?"

My heart raced faster the way she was quiet, was a horrific sight. With my Wobbly legs I walked upto her.

"Don't be such a coward Ezlynn speak up what you know."

It seemed she was in her own thoughts. Finally her rage burst out within a fit.

"How could he do that ?"

Moisture was in her sockets despite much control.

"What he ordered to do ?"

I questioned her with a shaky tongue, predicting something bad.

"What he can order, that stupid a.s.s soldier !"

"WHAT?"

We all shrieked in unison yet confused.

"Whom are you talking about and what happened ?"

Eire was the one now inquiring. While Ezlynn pushed her aside and sat on the bed agitated enough to blow someone head.

"Adonis thinks that we are in a huge danger while serving Charis. He says that we should leave her as soon as we get a chance.

For now His highness had calm the rebellion but the storm will rise again and we will fall a prey."

She narrated everything while my mind registered the part useful to me.

"Wait who is Adonis?"

Eire and me placed our questions, curiously.

"He is her boyfriend. The sergeant besides King Theon. Adonis is His highness' most trustworthy person."

Seren explained with a wink eyeing at me. It seemed she was with Ezlynn from quite a long time, knowing her very well.

"Oh is that so. You haven't told us THAT part."

I elbowed her and she hid her red tomato face behind hands while we all giggled.

"Love is a rare gift. You are lucky Ezlynn to have such a man who cares for you so much. As the matter regarding Charis you should assure him that she isn't a danger, or someone to be afraid off."

Eire was right. Everything we had in our lives was a gift of God bestowed upon us for good deeds.
