Ever since the attack on Marines HQ, the Marines had searched for traces of their missing Admiral. Akainu wasn't especially liked by the majority of the foot soldiers, but he was an important piece for the Marines. And the higher-ups adored him and his dedication to the Marines.

But the chances of finding that very Admiral was very low. Because right now he was in chains, down in the dungeon of Esdeath's own castle. And this is the place where Esdeath was heading now that she had successfully acquired two new permanent members.

She was walking down the spiral staircase that was leading down to the one man dungeon she created for Akainu's personal use. It was a massive room with a cross in the middle. She had taken the idea from how Robin was strapped up. People might say that's not something to take inspiration from. But Esdeath would most likely kill those people.

"Who's there!" A commanding voice reached her ears just as she turned the last corner and stepped on the dungeon floor. Akainu and Esdeath met each other's gazes and immediately anger boiled to the surface.

"I knew it! We all suspected something ever since the death of the World Noble. So this really confirms it! You killed Saint Jalmack." Akainu felt all the fog around Esdeath disappear immediately.

"Well to be more exact, a boy pierced that screaming fatass. I just killed everyone else." Esdeath smiled and it served to anger the strapped up Admiral to an even greater extent.

"And the 5th emperor? Was that you as well?" Akainu had a surprising control over his anger. He could contain it better than she anticipated he would.

"Him? Yes, I orc.h.e.s.trated the attack on Marine HQ. I don't like the spotlight, so I had him act as the pirate emperor instead of me."

"Sengoku always suspected there was someone hiding in the shadows and watching us. And look here, our own Admiral is the culprit." Akainu said and Esdeath bowed with a smile.

"That's me! It's really fun having the entire world in my palm. I can snap a finger and have the entire World Government destroyed. All of it. But enough of that now, I am here to welcome you to the dark side. The winning side." Esdeath said and approached.

"I will kill you as soon as I get out of here!" He glared at Esdeath with pure hatred in his eyes.

"ha, ha, ha, it's so funny that you think you will do anything I don't wish for you to do. If you free yourself from here. Then it's for the sole reason that I want it to happen. On this island and any other I own. Nothing happens that I don't wish to happen."

"Then how about meeting me on the neutral ground you pirate sc.u.m!" Akainu almost yelled the entire sentence. And he also moved, trying to free himself from the nails holding him in place.

"No! We are gonna have so much fun here, you and me." On Esdeath's palm ice started to grow and soon she stood there holding an ice spear. Akainu's eyes shot open in shock from what he was witnessing.

"How can you do that? Is Admiral Aokiji dead?" He was biting down on his teeth so hard that they almost broke apart from the pressure.

"oh, this? no, this is not a devil fruit. It's magic. I'll tell you later." Akainu didn't have time to question her further. Esdeath pulled back her arm and then proceeded to pierce Akainu through the leg.

"AAGHH!" In pain, Akainu cried out. He had anger boiling over, but he could do nothing about it. The nails weren't sea stone. But they were still impossible to remove by his strength alone.

"Prepare for the Esteemed Esdeath's steamy night of fun!" She said and summoned another ice spear in her other hand.

A day later, Esdeath came walking out of the house with a cruel smile plastered on her tender looking face. She had already mastered multiple useful expressions. She could look cute, innocent and adorable. But right now she looked to be the cruellest of people.

Suddenly two shadows sped passed her without stopping. They were Sabo and Sonia. She didn't know what they were doing, but they didn't even notice her so she assumed it was important.

On the beach, Kurama was standing with his hands behind his back. he was waiting for all his students to gather in front of him. Since this day was the official start of his pirate crew. Today all of them would officially become pirates.

Sabo and Sonia came shooting out of the tree line like a cannonball. They were both covering their feet with magic energy to increase leg strength and in turn increase their speed.

"Welcome! You are seven seconds late!" Kurama said in a stern voice while looking at the two kids breathing hard in front of him. It appears this run exhausted them a bit.

"I-I'm sorry, Master Kurama!" Sonia said in between breaths.

"Yes, what she said." Sabo pointed at Sonia and took one long breath to calm down.

"Well, anyways. Now that you both are here, we can leave. Mari and Hanc.o.c.k are already on the ship. So let's go." Kurama turned around and pointed at the ship in the distance.

"It's so big!" Sonia said in amazement.

It was a huge galleon that was close to seventy meters in length. And it's masts looked like they pierced the sky. It was created using magic, and it was an entirely self-manageable ship. It could steer itself using magic, and it stayed afloat with magic as well.

It was painted dark red with Kurama's personal jolly roger painted on the white sails. The jolly roger was a classic white pirate skull. But from behind the skull, nine tails spread out and hid the skull among them.

It was a distinct pirate flag and with Kurama's fame, it would soon enough be just as recognizable as the other four emperors.

"Let's go. We have a few stops to make this time." Kurama picked up the two kids and threw them to the ship. And his aim was still impeccable as they landed safely on the ship deck.
