Child Of God

Kurama was walking on a big dirk road leading up to the gates of the hidden leaf village. With his body at the incredible height of four meters, he looked like a war god marching off to war. The only thing that ruined this image was the incredibly cute and adorable girl that was sitting comfortably on his shoulder and snuggling hos face. And at the same time stroking his hair.

"We are nearing the village, so how about you pull out your serious attitude. Aren't divined beings supposed to be prideful and all, My Lady." Kurama said this more for his own sake. Having someone on his shoulder stroking his hair was quite embarrassing.

"Fine, if you don't like it, you could have just said so. No need to make up excuses to get me to stop." She stopped touching his hair and instead she just sat there and waited for the people to arrive. They had already been noticed, so the village most powerful people were closing in on their location right now.

"Do you sense them Kurama?" Her eyes had already landed on the people closing in. They were exactly the people she wanted to meet.

"Of course, My Lady" He had been forced to always call her that now. She threatens with a beating should he forget it, so he made sure to never forget that. Ten or so ninjas appeared in front of them just a few seconds later.

"Hello there Minato, boy. How's the wife!" Rory waved with a smile as Minato was one of the people that came to greet them.

"My wife, Kushina didn't make it. She died giving birth to my son. I have to thank you for saving our village from the nine-tailed fox. Thank you!" He bowed sincerely together with the others. The others only offered a small nod instead of a full bow. Most were too busy looking at this freak of nature that was carrying her on his shoulder.

"Ah, it's no problem. Sorry for your loss though. How's your son doing?" Her smile lessened a little but it was still there as always.

"He is doing good. He is will grow up to be a good boy and a great man. Again, I must thank you for your help, otherwise, he might not have been alive today."He was still bowing as he answered her questions.

"On to other things. I am leaving so I just wanted to wish you and your family a happy future. You can always consider me your friend." She smiled with an ear to ear smile at Minato. She didn't even bother with the other people. She saw the colour of their hearts and what was going through their minds. The old man was a decent fellow, but the other old dude was messed up in the head.

"I will take that friendship and treasure it then. And I will hope that you might help out in the future, should we ever need it." He had a sincere smile on his face. Rory looked inside him and Minato was a straight-up good guy. So she had no problems helping him.

"Ahm, if I may. We were just wondering. What happened to the beast?" Hiruzed jumped in before Rory could leave. He knew that certain people wanted answers, and he hated that fact that he had to ask the questions. He knew Minato would never ask her anything, and especially after that exchange of words.

"Are you people really that dumb? I fly away with a massive fox and then come back with a man at a solid 4 meters. Connect the dots, people!" She said in an annoyed manner.

'As we feared then. That really is the nine tails. Why didn't anybody know about their transformation? Or is this her doing? Is she just that powerful.' Hiruzen's mind was racing to find things to say. Another man jumped in before he could though.

"The power of the nine-tailed fox belongs to the Hidden leaf village. It must stay that way or our village face certain destruction." A man with an arm clad in a bandage said to her. He was nervous, but he could not lose power like the nine tails. He had ways to control it and he had to succeed. If it left then the village would be open to attack from the others.

"hm, really? Do you feel like you belong to this village?" She poked Kurama on the cheek. She knew he didn't give his name easily so she didn't use it.

"I am sad that those Uzumaki died. They were quite entertaining. But I am following My Lady now. I have never cared about this village. I only slightly cared for my previous host." Kurama said with almost no emotion in his voice. But the context of what was said is what shocked the ninjas.

'M-My lady? Did she seriously tame a tailed beast in less than an hour?' Minato didn't care for the fox. He saw it more like a curse. He didn't mind if she took them all away from all the hidden villages.

"I'm afraid I can't let that happen. It is too important to let go off." The man with bandages took out a kunai and his guards jumped to surround the duo.

"Danzo stop this! We can't do this." Minato turned and pleaded with the man. There was no result and Danzo made a hand sign and about 60 ninjas appeared in the area around them.

"They are too important to let go off. Do it!" Danzo said and Four ninjas around Rory and Kurama started doing hand signs. [Four Violet Flames Formation]. A barrier appeared around the duo.

"Danzo stop this!" Minato put a kunai to his throat as he commanded him to stop. Another kunai appeared on Minato's neck at the same time he moved in on Danzo.

"Hiruzen, why? You know we can't do this." Minato glared with anger at the old man that had a kunai to his throat. The old man had a face of regret but also determination. He was forced to make his choice the moment Danzo made his move.

"I'm sorry Minato, but this is for the best." he didn't even know if his words were true, but it was too late to regret now. Minato's guards were held down by Danzo's men so Minato was alone in this now.

"What a performance. But as Minato's friend. I won't sit here as you attack him like that. I was wrong about you Hiruzen. In the end, you made the completely wrong choice." Rory patted Kurama's shoulder and he walked up to the newly constructed barrier.

"Don't! It's dangerous!" Minato said as he stood there with a kunai to Danzo's throat. He refused to give in here. He would die here if he needed to. He would never abandon his belief in doing what's right.

"Child's Play!" Rory simply tapped the barrier and it along with the holders burst into pure white flames and in seconds they were gone. Not even enough time to scream.

"WHAT!?? Kill her!" Danzo had a moment of panic as he saw how freaking easy she destroyed the barrier.

"Have some fun!" She tapped Kurama's shoulder and jumped down from it. He smiled and immediately grabbed the head of one of the ninjas that appeared behind Rory to stab her.

"Can't let you do that to my special Lady. Die for me!" Kurama slammed the head on the ground and created a small crack in the ground using the ninja's skull. He continued his slaughter immediately after that.

"My chakra won't listen to me!"

"I can't activate any Jutsu!" The ninjas caught in a brawl with Kurama noticed that they couldn't use their chakra at all. Nothing worked, no matter what hand signs they used.

"Ye, that credit goes to me. I put up a nullification field. You will notice that no energy-based attacks work in here." Rory said as she appeared behind Hiruzen and punched him away so he crashed into a tree in the distance. He was coughing up blood from that punch alone. She walked up to him and bowed down in front of him.

"So why'd you do it? You knew what I can do. You knew there was no way of winning." She held his own kunai against his throat.

"I-I made m--*cough* Made m-my choice. I will live with the consequences of my choices." He said nothing else as he continued to vomit blood from his mouth.

"At least you take responsibility. I will respect you for that. Well, unfortunately, you are being judged by me, and I don't really like you all that much." She did an incredible quick swipe with the kunai and Hiruzen's head went flying in the air.

"Did this go the way you planned it?" Rory turned back to Danzo that was being held captive by Minato. Danzo still had a calm look on his face. Rory knew exactly why, and she couldn't wait to tell him how useless that is against her.

"Nothing will change. I will get what I came for." Danzo said. Minato was standing there looking at the corpse of Hiruzen. This was not how he wanted it to go. It was not like he could stop Rory even if he tried.

"Danzo, when I kill you, you die." Rory appeared before him in an instant and pierce him with her hand.

"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH" Danzo screamed in agony as his entire being was consumed in those pure white flames. His existence had just been erased forever. Never to return again. This was the powers of the flames of the First Heaven.

"Are you done soon?" Rory looked on as Kurama took two ninja skulls and cracked them against each other. This was the last two. Kurama in human form was as fast as Minato so these ninjas had zero chance of survival against him.

"Yes! That was actually kind of fun. Human bodies are not that bad to fight and move in. Though sleeping is definitely still better in animal form.

"How about you Minato. How are you feeling?" Rory smiled at her new friend. Minato was still trying to make sense of this situation. Two of the village most powerful individuals had just been killed. This left them in a very vulnerable state. The road ahead was gonna be long from now on.

"ha, ha, I don't know really. At least we managed to get rid of Danzo in one go. it will be tough, but I believe the village and its people will be safer now. Though only the future will tell." He smiled gently at Rory like he would his newborn son. Having no idea that she is a five-thousand-year-old woman.

"That's great. We need to leave now. But before that. Introduce yourself. I believe he had earned that from what we saw here. He was after all willing to die to protect us." Rory said to Kurama who started pondering about it.

"I suppose it wouldn't hurt. I might make future meetings a lot less awkward. The names Kurama. The nine tales fox." He said and lifted up Rory to place her on his shoulder.

"A p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e to meet you Kurama. Hope we can meet again in the future." Minato bowed slightly to show respect.

"That will fully depend on, My Lady here," Kurama said and turned around. He was tired of talking so he simply left, leaving Minato incredibly awkward because he still wanted to talk with Rory. After a few seconds, he started to collect his comrade's bodies. He also needed to handle all the political mess that would happen after tonight. He did not look forward to it.
