Child Of God

Kurama and Rory stood on a beach beside each other. Rory had for the last hours or so, explained to Kurama about the universe and how there exists an almost infinite amount of universes. She also explained that she is one of the few that can travel between them at will. Thanks to her incredible power it didn't take much out of her to do that either.

"So what world are we visiting next, my lady?" Kurama had gotten more comfortable with calling her my lady and he had gotten back that tailed beast arrogance again.

"It's a world filled with magic and powerful wizards throwing spells around. The people are not that strong, but it's a perfect starting point for my empire." Rory jumped upon his shoulder as she was finishing explaining.

"Empire? You have an empire?" Kurama said while giving her a questionable gaze.

"Not yet. The purpose of this world is to start the empire in it. I will create my followers and we will work out of that world and then expand to many other worlds." Rory said while fist-bumping the air out of excitement.

"HAHAHA! Empire, huh. Interesting, My Lady!" Kurama seemed genuinely happy right now.

"So, are you ready to go, furball?" Rory said and stroked Kurama's soft hair.

"Sure, My Lady. As long as you don't call me furball." He answered and a portal opened up in front of him. He jumped back in surprise from this.

"ha, ha, it's just the portal to that world. Go through it, dummy." She hit him on the head, but not enough to actually hurt him or anything.

"I-I see. It took me by surprise a little." Kurama hesitated a little and he finally walked through when Rory hit him on the head with more force than before.

*SWOOSH*

Inside a green forest, a crack appeared in the air. Not even two seconds later, a big portal appeared and a massive man with fiery red hair stepped out. He had what looked like a little girl sitting on his shoulder. Never would you guess that this little girl is 5 thousand years old.

"Success. See, that wasn't so scary was it?" Rory said to Kurama who was still shaking a little.

"I think I will stay here in this world forever. I don't ever want to experience that again." Kurama shuddered as he thought about travelling through that portal again.

"Sissy! I thought you were some badass fox demon or something and here you are shaking like a scared puppy. ha, ha, ha," Rory was having the time of her life right now.

"It's because you're a freak. how can that energy not scare you? It was terrifying..." Kurama tried to calm down, but every time he thought about that energy inside that place he felt like fainting.

"You'll get used to it in time. Enough of that now! Let me see if I managed to take us to the right place." Rory closed her eyes and Kurama watched her with curiosity.

"Oh my.." This was all Rory said and showed an awkward smile.

"What is it?" Kurama asked nervously. He didn't know what could possibly make her say that.

"I would seem I messed up a little. It's nothing much though, so you don't have to worry about it at all." Rory just waved all of the worries away, because she didn't want to reveal to Kurama that she had by accident. Put them in the wrong timeline.

"Hmm, if you say so. Just don't get me killed, My Lady." Kurama said with a semi nervous tone.

"Never! We have places to be so let's go." Rory jumped down from the tall man's shoulder and started jogging towards a certain direction.

"Let the fun begin," Kurama said and started walking.
