Contract: Making Of A Hero

The sun slowly sets and the two opponents never moved an inch observing each move. The leader of the robbers getting impatient ordered his champion to attack Simon. His champion agreed and attacks him with a swing of his huge axe. Simon barely dodges the attack and was catching his breath while doing so. He realize he needed to defeat his opponent but is not confident of his skills. He tried to land an attack but the killing intent of his opponent was more than enough to intimidate him. The robbers cheered at their champion who was gaining an upper hand of the fight.

Simon tried to attack but his attacks were far too weak to make an impact in the fight. His physique and endurance is not made for the fight thus losing his balance as he was out of air. He could not maintain his composure nor his stance and leans on his staff for balance.

"What's wrong fat-ass? Could not push the stick?" The leader of the robbers laughed at him.

"I still got a move left! You'll see... this will... Scare you!" Simon out of breath said before he collapsed.

The wind suddenly turned chilly and the atmosphere has changed. Voices were heard and one of them familiar lines from heroes far away. At first they were whispers until they become clearer and clearer.

"Experience the euphony of suffering..." A chilling voice said.

A figure suddenly appeared, he is holding with him a pistol on his right hand and a case similar to that used to store a guitar in his left hand. Seeing this paranormal activity the robbers began to feel a chill in their spines. They began to feel afraid as they see spirit-like figures that were flying around the place.

"Granger... finish them off!" Simon unconsciously said .

Gunshots echoed over the place hitting almost everything with precision. Most of the robbers collapsed as they got hit as Granger furiously attacked them with his pistol. Those that remained including their leader tried to run away but was frozen in fear as the dead grabbed their feet preventing them from running away.

"What on earth is happening? Anyone out there, help us! Demons, they are everywhere!" The leader of the robbers shouted for help.

"No one can save you!" Granger said to him and aimed his gun at his forehead.

The screams of the men can be heard from afar alarming nearby townspeople who reported the anomaly to the authorities. With this the lady in white cannot observe any longer and interfered.

"No one shall see this incident. Not just yet!" She said and rushed to where Simon was.

Meanwhile on patrol duty a huge knight saw a frightened person who was screaming and described the incident on him.

"Tig, this doesn't sound good we should call for help." A man clad in blue clothes with white hair said to him.

"You go alone Alucard I will take a look at this incident by myself." The knight named Tigreal said.

"That's not fair!" Alucard replied.

The stern look at Tigreal's face caused Alucard to sigh and left to call for reinforcements. While Alucard was on his way to call for reinforcements Tigreal rushed to the scene. When he arrived he saw this strange phenomenon of lights and saw a strange lady in white taking a fat man with her. When the lady noticed them she suddenly disappeared from sight and the entire phenomenon suddenly ceased. The eerie lights faded and the bodies of the robbers remained on the sight. Tigreal began to examine the remains which does not seem to be corpses, yet. Most of them lost their consciousness while others knelt with their arms spread by their sides and their eyes opened but looks lifeless.

"What happened here!?" Tigreal shocked at what he seen asked himself.

Alucard along with some knights arrived to the scene and was surprised with what he saw. Bodies refused to move an inch with some looking at the sky. While others who were partly conscious were muttering words that is incomprehensible.

"Whatever it is this is a unusual anomaly! This matter needs to be reported as soon as possible." Tigreal said.

A figure stood alone in the corner and was seen by the two. Tigreal and Alucard tried to approach him to ask. The slender figure suddenly began to fade away as they came close.

"Experience the euphony of suffering..."

It is the only words they heard from him as he disappears to the darkness.
