Chapter 20 - The Aftermath (2).

Age: 78 years

Energy Effect: Enormous amounts of condensed energy particles present in the right hemisphere of the brain leading to brain haemorrhage, other than that no direct physiological damage observed.

Cause of death: Hemorrhagic stroke

Anatomical differences: 25% larger Mutated area in both hemispheres of the brain than the other corpses, no other disparity observed]

From this scan, he can without a doubt conclude that the Mutated Area/Tissues can restrain the coloured dots 'Energy' into one place and can condense it. But too much of it can lead to serious brain damage.

And the other thing he figured out was the coloured dots 'Energy' directly promotes the Mutation in normal cells so from this using common sense, he can assume that maybe someone with an even higher Mutation can control the coloured dots using their own Mutated cells.

But he wasn't sure about these assumptions and so he waited for the scan of the other two bodies.

Energy Effect: Enormous amounts of condensed Energy particles present in the cognitive and motor-sensory areas of the brain, would produce positive results in the long run more research required. Other than this no direct physiological damage observed.

Cause of death: Sudden death due to Intense Brain Shock

Anatomical differences: 39% larger Mutated area in both hemispheres of the brain than the other corpses, 42.8% more dense Energy residue in comparison to the previous corpse]

This one confirmed his assumptions even further, the higher the energy, the higher the degree of Mutation. The bigger the Mutated Area, the safer they would be from the Coloured dots 'Energy'. So he decided to give it a try once more and waited for the scan of the third corpse.

[Name: Unknown

Age: 38

Energy Effect: Large deposits of Condensed Energy residue observed throughout the cranium, affecting the neighbouring cells. A denser conglomerate of Condensed Energy found between the Eyebrows. No internal damage observed.

Cause of death: Unknown

Anatomical differences: 63% larger Mutated Area in comparison to the previous two corpses. Energy density highest of all the corpses, around 40% the size of Host's Mutation.]

His suspicion was confirmed, there was a really bad side effect of the Mutation, although the Higher the Mutation the safer they would be from the Energy, at the same time the Energy would condense inside their Brain and form Denser variations of it akin to a Bomb, He doesn't know when it would explode.

He frowned when he read the Anatomical differences because according to that he himself is more Mutated than that person for more than 60%. Even though he received notifications more than 1 or 2 times, he didn't pay attention to it because of unavailability of time. That is another mistake he didn't want to repeat once again and he would spend more time exploring the System's functions.

Once again it was proven to be a great tool of Survival because according to the countdown the Apocalypse has started and he had got himself a very crucial piece of information. Which he can share with many other people and sell it for Mission stars.

Although he wanted to spend more time here giving these unfortunate people a proper Islamic style Burial which they deserved but he had already spent more than 1 hours and it was 5:15 pm right now, the sun would set in just 50 minutes after that there would be total darkness and he definitely didn't want to spend a Night near the cold deserts of UAE inside a van.

And he didn't choose to stay here either because he can't trust whether the same thing won't happen again.

Gathering the belongings he rummaged through the bodies which he would take a closer look on with him, he went inside the kitchen of the restaurant.

The kitchen was full of perishable and non-perishable goods he took both of them as he would use the perishable goods like meat right now and would store the non-perishable ones inside the truck.

Walking out of the restaurant with loads of looted goods in his hands, his gaze suddenly stopped at the wall on which an antique decoration was fixed. The decoration seemed to be a commonly seen crossed sword wall decoration, the two scimitars were hanged on the wall by the support of a nail.

Even though it was common sense that no one would use an actual antique sword for decoration, but he still tried pulling it out because he was lacking a solid weapon on his hand, although the Knife he purchased from the Survival store was nice it wasn't enough to guarantee some safety to him.

He walked towards them and snatched them down the wall, he took the sword out of the sheath and observed it closely. It was a shamshir also known as scimitar in many other countries, the blade of the scimitar was a single-edged, curved blade with a blade length of 24 inches.

He lightly grazed the edge on his finger to test it's sharpness, to his surprise it was a real, sharp scimitar that gave him a slight nick on his fingers. Tucking and tightening both the swords on his belt, he walked towards the truck which he abandoned while running from the rainbow cloud.

Stashing the food materials and the belonging of those people, he then sat in the driver's seat making plans of what to do next.
