I regain my strength after almost faint bearing the pained I felt in my c.h.e.s.t. Something inside me try to stop the urge to remember the vague vision that kept appearing in my mind. Every time I try to grab that fracture of memories, I felt the burning sensation inside my heart.

"Oh I wonder, you seems have a troublesome curse in your heart"

"Shut up!"

The wind prison get smaller and make a loud sound when I held my hand high. Its like the wind prison following the gesture of my hand.

"Ayanna"

Liam calling my name in a way that make my heart grieved. This heart recognize the man, his voice reach my heart and it makes the burning inside going wild.

"What a selfish thing to do shadow hunter. You purposely hurt the princess"

"arghhh"

I clenched my fist, and the wind prison almost swallow the night soul eater. I just want to hurt something. I want to crushed things. What is this unknown anger and grudge.

"I can stop the pain, lets make some deal"

I stop the wind prison just with my thought. But the pain inside my heart still there. And i look at the night soul eater. My eyes get smaller and look straight to the creature that talking. I should give it a chances to speak.

"Speak. Clearly without hiding anything"

"Form a contract with me and let me eat your soul as payment"

"Don't you dare lure her into a deal to satisfy you grudge"

"tsk.. Look who talking. You trigger the curse and yet you let her suffering?"

"Its a seal for her and Its my curse to pay. It should be me to die and why is this happening to her!"

"Its a very long story, would you bear to hear it while she was suffering?"

They were fighting with useless words that I didn't understand while I almost die. I get to my feet from the floor and face the night soul eater. Liam want to hold me but I don't want him to get this curse. Just in case it could affected others I shake my head and he seems devastated.

"How different dying now and let you eat my soul?"

"Forming the contract with me has two things. First, I only can eat your soul if you die. Secondly, while you are alive all your words are my command and your safety are my priority"

"And how you help this pain to be gone."

"It was a seal that clash with a curse. I can lift one of it, since when you are my MASTER your safety are my PRIORITY"

"Why only one?"

"It took hundreds soul to revoke a curse or remove the seal. Within my strength I had now, I only able to make one last spell. But it should stop the pain"

I look at Liam eyes, I know he speak the truth and the Night Soul Eater also didnt seems lying but there is something going on between them. How he know this creature is a male.

"Alright, what should I do to have a contract with you"

"Come closer princess. Closer enough for me to touch your head"

With the little bit strength and the pain I barely endure, I move my hand and free the creature. And in blink of eye it whispering at me.

"Say my name and asked me to obey you."

"Your name? I give you a name?"

"Silly woman, close your eyes"

I close my eyes, and I saw a red lines in a stone. The name was written in blood. I saw skull and bones scatter around it. and then the pain struck my consciences makes me realize I dont have much time to be sight seeing.

"Kaius Rheva obey me until the last of my breath"

I just whispering the name that I seen while holding the stone. I felt warm at my hand and saw red liquid flowing down from the stone. Did it just suck my blood from my palm. I want to pull my hand and then a pale hand holding down my hand.

And i rise my head saw a figure standing in front of me. I read his lips asking for me to wait a bit. Then I saw my blood coating the stone and its gone. Like been absorb by the stone.

"Give me a new name"

His eyes was full of darkness. But he has a warm hand. By giving him a name, its mean he bear the responsibility of protecting me until the end of my life.

"Zander... I would like to call you Zander"

"A Protector in the shadow... also give a meaning 'to defend'. Not bad princess, the name suit me"

He reach out my head using both his hand. I can feel my face was growing near to him, but he do it in a gentle way. then he place his lips in my forehead.

"The contract is done, open your eyes princess"

Hearing the voice, I open my eyes. I saw a man holding me in his arms. the pain in my heart was gone. he put me down and I was standing firmly in the ground. He was tall and have a black hair but highlighted with silver gray. His ears got lots of piercing. Wearing a white shirt and a leather coat. He looks clean but in bad boy manner.

"Zander?"
