Harry Potter And The Dual Lord

Chapter 29 - Domination

Arthur looked as Harry sped up toward the ball, closing the distance at every moment. Just as the ball was about to collide with the window of McGonagall's office, Harry caught the ball with his hand, and slowed down his broom to a stop, turning on the spot, making him miss the astonished face of McGonagall.

Arthur got down to the ground, and landed next to his friends. The Slytherin were all looking at Harry, just like the Gryffindors.

Led by Ron, they all ran toward Harry, who was celebrating his catch, and cheered for him, while the Slytherin looked sullen.

But they then all heard the voice of McGonagall "Mr Potter! Please follow me."

The Gryffindors all shut up, and looked at McGonagall in fear. Harry gulped and nodded. He then looked at Arthur resentfully, blaming him for his near expulsion.

McGonagall walked away, with Harry in tow. As they left the vision of the kids the Gryffindors all looked at Arthur, venom in their eyes.

Ron ran toward Arthur yelling "You did it! You did it! It's your fault Harry is getting expelled! You bas…"

Arthur drew out his wand and said "Oscausi." As Ron was about to spout an insult his lips suddenly stuck to each other and merged. Then they disappeared, making it seem like he didn't have a mouth.

Ron's eyes grew wide and he began suffocating. The Slytherins and Gryffindors were shocked, and Hermione shouted to Arthur "Stop it, he is suffocating!"

Arthur looked at her and saw an opportunity to make this world a little better. He said "Shut up!" She stepped back in shock, she seemed hurt. Another Gryffindor, Dean, sprung up and said "Don't you talk to her like that you damn Slytherin!"

The Slytherins tensed up and Malfoy, who had stayed silent until now, took out his wand and said "I dare you repeat that!"

Dean took out his wand too, causing a domino effect. Before anyone could speak everyone had their wands out, except for the suffocating Ron, The shocked Hermione and the disdaining Arthur.

Arthur sneered "What are you all doing, do you even know how to fight? Do you know any spell at least?"

Hearing him students from both sides took back their wands embarrassed, but most kept their, confident in themselves.

Arthur looked at Hermione and asked "Are all Gryffindors so dumb? First there's that dumbass suffocating and you are busy fighting."

At his words the Gryffindors all pointed their wands at him, and Hermione said "Stop it, he can't breath! You monster!"

Hearing her, everyone drew in a sharp breath, be it the Gryffindors or Slytherins. She had actually said aloud what everyone thought.

Arthur took out his wand slowly, and the Gryffindors yelled "Don't you dare attack her, she is one of us!"

But Arthur ignored them and patted his wand on his nose. He then said "Ron, you damn moron with no survival instinct. I sealed your mouth, but you can still breath with your nose. If you hadn't been panicking so much you would have realized it alone."

The Gryffindors froze. Ron, who seemed to be on the edge of death, suddenly breathed as much air as he could with his nose.

Arthur shook his head disdainfully and waved his hand. His sealed mouth appeared again, and he could speak again. Before he could talk though Arthur said "Shut up. All of you. Lowly bullies have no right to talk to me."

One of the hotheaded Gryffindors couldn't take it anymore and launched a spell at Arthur. Arthur looked as the light approached, but did nothing. As he had expected, Peter, who had silently stayed next to him since the beginning, flicked his wand and countered the light.

This triggered everyone, and the Gryffindors and Slytherin all began firing spells at the other side. At first Arthur intended on letting them fight but it was getting dangerous, they didn't know how to control their magic well enough to fight safely.

Arthur waved his hand in a spiral and a semi transparent shield appeared between the two dies. All the spells were stopped, and the students looked at the wall in awe.

They though one of the teachers had arrived and expected to be berated for fighting, but they were surprised to hear no such voice.

After a couple of seconds everyone was looking at Arthur in fear. Someone able to kill you quickly is fearsome, but some who can protect himself against all attacks is even more fearsome.

Take the Peverell brothers for example. The big brother was the stronger wizard of his time, none could defeat him. Yet he still died because guard against the whole world like that, not to talk about death.

But the youngest brother, him, couldn't be touched. And he is the one who survived in the end. That's why seeing him stop the spells of tens of people with the same age was fearsome.

Arthur then said "Orbis Maxima!"

A huge dark whirlpool with Arthur as its center appeared on the ground, the whirlpool had everyone on it. Arthur poured a large portion of his magic and was left with only two tenth of it because he had expanded a lot of it to search for McGonagall.

However the effects were satisfying. Everyone, including his friends, were in the ground up to their waist, including Elena who had tried to get out.

Now that no one could move, Arthur used half of the magic he still had and black serpents appeared from the ground and moved to every student.

They tried to defend themselves but they couldn't move as the serpents opened their mouths wide and swallowed the arms they held the wand in.

Now every student were only half as tall as before, with either one of their arms covered in darkness. They tried to move and use spells but the dark serpents made them unable to use their wand. They disrupted the magic from the wand and made its usage impossible.

Arthur drew back his wand and used the dark elements in the air to form countless more smaller serpents. The main advantage Arthur had with his early mutation is that the use of his elements was unlimited.

Other wizards would have to use their magic to stimulate the elements, but he can use them at will. So for example he can cast an infinite number of lumos spells.

Of course without magic those spells aren't very powerful most of the time, but they can be useful. Now Arthur used all those serpents to coil around their bodies, and plunge them even deeper in the ground.

By the time they disappeared, all the students only had their heads out of the ground, with the rest of their bodies still in the ground, their world views shattered by this boy.

Arthur was angry, with all of them. Even his friends had taken part of that useless and dangerous fight. Any spell handled in the wrong way has the potential to kill, be it oneself or the other.

Arthur didn't want any one of them to die, especially his friends, so he decided to teach them all a lesson, to show them that fight is useless. Maybe that would stop them from fighting in the future. Probably not.

However Arthur's main goal today had been accomplished wonderfully, seeing Hermione's happy face. But he might as well strike as the iron is hot to make sure his efforts aren't for naught.

"I won't lie to you all, none of you have any chance against me, alone. You already saw what happened today. I'm telling you, the only way for you to challenge me is through team work. If you can't go past your stereotypes and learn and support each other, then the only thing you are ever fated to see is my shadow."

Arthur's shadow became bigger and began to rise, five meters, ten meters, twenty meters. Arthur couldn't be seen anymore, only a giant mass of black fumes could be seen in its place. It began to transform, into a giant demonic looking humanoid who said in a voice that seemed to come straight from hell "Stay like you are, and you will eventually become trash. Work together, and maybe one day you will have the rights to stands as my equals."
