"I made your lunch sweetie" Meilin said packing up a boxed lunch for her daughter but Li Na left with just her back pack and skipped out on the food her mother made. Meilin held the small box in her hands as tears rolled out. That's how it had been for the last six years since Haru got jail time.

Meilin was depressed and she had herself to blame. her daughters never looked at her, ate her food but would rather go out to eat with their allowance money. She even tried depriving them from money so they'd turn to her food and everything she had to offer but they kept their distance and didn't mind starving.

Meilin went through days in bitterness and her pillow was doused from the collected tears. She ended her relationship with Li wei, who is eventually living with his wife and only son. As for herself, she's all alone spending her best moments in despair.

After his jail time, Haru left China to live in Seoul, Korea. He left everything behind, the two pair his mind and body was connected to, Li Na and Li hua. He loved them both, promised them he would come back but he had second thoughts. He didn't like the idea of going to jail for another long period of time after his bad experience in a place like that.

Throughout a whole year in Korea, he started a rehab session for flawed people like him. It gave him joy to see others that have been through trials just like he had and shared optimistic ideas for the future they were heading to.

Amongst the members of his program was a seventeen year old. One of his favorite. They were much closer than the others because of how he helped her get over her an addiction that got her arrested for shoplifting and her actions ruined her family name.

She had feelings for the man and confronted him about it but Haru never took it seriously because he felt that she was just young and naïve but the girl thought the feelings in her c.h.e.s.t were genuine.

Whenever she met him at his home she'd always see a Small frame of two young girls who turned out to be his daughters. For a man in his early forties of course he must've had children and past relationsh.i.p.s. She didn't mind any of that because Haru was her dream man.

To Haru, Mihyo was a daughter to him. He thought about her a lot and strived and will keep on endeavoring at whatever point she needs to get over drugs once more. He recalled the day he kissed her which was a slip-up, he went out drinking and stumbled in her way. He apologized to her however she never considered it to be an offense. She'd like it to happen again sometime in the not so distant future.

Haru knows about the girls feelings and he also knows she'd get over it soon because he was planing on going back to Beijing for his kids. He hadn't told anyone yet but he would whenever the time was right. Sadly he wouldn't give mihyo her happily ever after because he had kids waiting for him.

Mihyo was in her room, lights off but doing nothing but stare at her phone, swiping across the different pictures she had of Haru. He was handsome for a man his age and she loved his every angle. She just wished he could pave way for her into his heart.

She dozed off after spending hours snooping around his blog and social media posts but before her eyes closed she decided to check up on him in person.

The next morning she dropped off at a bus stop then strolled to Haru's home. She rang the doorbell and waited for a reply. She did it again when she got no sort of answer. She gradually opened the door and looked inside.

The house was looking a bit empty and it got her wondering what was going on. She went in to look for him and also to demand an explanation for what was going on.

Haru was taping boxes down at the bas.e.m.e.nt and stacking them up. The main job was to take all of them to the garage and load them into his car. All of his things were in there, each and every thing was significant however some were a higher priority than the rest, but he couldn't desert any.

"Mr Yang?" He heard the delicate tone of a voice calling him from the bas.e.m.e.nt stairs. "How did you get in?"

"I'm the one that's supposed to be asking questions" Mihyo crossed her arms and puffed. Haru didn't plan on letting anyone know about his plans so soon. He had nothing to say even though thousands of ideas popped in his head. He didn't want to make her sad.

"Are you leaving us?" the man that to some degree carried salvation into the lives of twenty individuals youthful and old, wedded and single, can't simply abandon the people that adored him to such an extent.

The guilt hindered Haru's reply and he saw the tears well up in the teen's eyes. "Are you?" her voice was wavy because she did know the truth but she just wanted to hear it from him.

"it's just been a year Mr Yang...why do you want to go?" Whether he gives and answer or not, she wasn't going to let him leave her. It was too soon.

"I have two kids waiting for me to return"

She ran to him and hugged him tightly "But you've always said I'm like your own daughter... just spend more time with us...with me" Haru couldn't do that, he also didn't want to leave but he promised his children that he'd come back to get them no matter what...even if it means jail again.

"You're a bright lady who shouldn't hold on to much to the people that'll be of the past someday. Seeing you now makes me happy because you've gotten over your addiction and I'm glad to know I helped to free you from that. I feel fulfilled as a man who wanted to help people like me and you're an evidence of my achievements" Mihyo wasn't listening to his long speech, all that occupied her mind was how to make him stay.

"Will you go back to your ex?"

He didn't know what to say. He would not like to however at that point, he wasn't generally certain how things may turn out later on. Moreover why was she asking? "Please tell me"

"I don't plan to" she let out a sigh of relief "Then we can be together Mr yang...I know you think I'm too young but we can wait till I'm like 20. It's just three years"

Haru didn't care for the sound of that. He didn't need any kind of relationship, particularly with somebody her age.

"When are you going back to highschool?"

Mihyo didn't want to go there. She was afraid of the four walls that drove her to drugs in the first place. She only wanted to be with Haru because he was her sanctuary during her times of crisis. She loved him.

"I don't need to...I just need to be with you. If it's not too much trouble let me come along..."

"No you can't. I don't want you to be with me, you're a young girl, you have a lot of things coming your way. You need to worry more about your future...one without me" Mihyo started tearing up and Haru turned to continue packing up.

"I love you" she blurted. Haru walked towards, cupped her cheeks and locked his lips with her pink folds. In seconds he pulled away "I care about you, That's why I want you to forget about me from now on. It'll help"

She had her finger tips on her lips the whole time as her face crimsoned. She decided to follow him to Beijing, without letting him know.
