Li Na took a seat beside her sleeping mother and decided to play her guitar. The sweet refrain of her acoustic communicated in a melodic language to her mom's spirit. The strumming sound had an entrancing alleviating quality that she enjoyed. Meilin eyes gradually opened and her look met with that of the young girl that stopped by every morning to sing to her before she'd head off to some place with her twin.

It's been a year since Meilin had been in a vegetable state. But with months she improved. She survived it and woke up to see the faces she couldn't recognize.

She can move her facial muscles and her hand once in a while but her family was sure with time She'll get back on her feet.

She kept smiling as Li Na played and the girl wished she could know what her mother was thinking, that's if she even thinks at all. Actually, she was thinking, trying to understand why the girls were so attached to her. She could sense things and her reactions had improved but it was a gradual process.

They'd come to talk to her about things she knew nothing about. She didn't even know their names but she had a feeling that they were important people.

"love you mummy" Li Na kissed her forehead as soon as the door flung open and Haru stood at the entrance signaling her to get ready for school. The girl left her guitar on the chair and skipped out of the room.

Haru smiled because Meilin wore a beautiful grin that morning. He doubted she remembered him but her smile would always remain contagious. "Morning love" he sat beside her on the bed "It's been a while since I've stayed here to talk to you. You're pretty...Very pretty"

His smile slowly turned to a frown and he balled his hands because he started to wonder if she really understood what he was saying. "It hurts me to see you like this Meilin but I'm grateful you survived but I want my woman back. I want her out of this shell, because I know she's In there" she was smiling with her eyes locked on the ceiling fan.

Haru held her hand "When we were younger...it's already been nineteen years since I first met you and you've managed to keep the youthful side of you alive. I never told you this but I wanted to marry you. Back then when you were like twenty three?" He laughed then placed a kiss on her hand "I wanted us to have a perfect family but I made too many mistakes and it all led us to this faith."

He kissed her gently, and softly bit on her folds. "I love you and if you do get out of this phase, I'll marry you even if we're old and grey. I want to spend the rest of my life by your side, caring and fending for the children. I want you to finally be Mrs Meilin Yang" he smiled, his eyes clouding with tears "the name suits you well."

He was about to leave when Meilin held him back. She was smiling but he could see the tears that rolled out from her ducts. "Meilin..." He wiped her tears a way and kissed her again but he began to wonder if truly she could understand everything that was going on?

"Sooner or later you'll come back to us."

"Don't forget to eat lunch!!!" He said to the twins as he waved. They gave him a thumbs up before running to catch up to their friends.

Haru got back in his car  and a woman got in with him. "Mrs Kwon, I told you to stop following me around"

She adjusted the car mirror then turned to look at him "I'm sorry" she laughed "But I can't help it. Seeing a handsome man like you standing at the parking lot looking all sad and troubled of course I had to come to your rescue, you need a woman in your life"

"If you keep this up, I'll be forced to report you" she set her hand on his and he immediately pushed it away "I'm just trying to be fair. Your wife can't give you the satisfaction you want. That's why I'm here, to please you"

"you're married. Please get out of my car. People might be watching"

"let them" she inclined in to kiss him however he fended getting off until he had no alternative but to get down the vehicle. After what he did to meilin he promised to never respond gravely to a lady. Shout, hit, abuse, any of that sort because that's what got meilin like that, and he didn't want to have sleepless nights if it was to repeat itself.

S.e.x.u.a.l satisfaction or not he didn't care anymore about that. In the stage of his life, he wanted to be vanilla because he needed to build love with meilin like they did the very first time they met in the elevator.

He remembers everything well and will never forget how happy and sad she made him. The countless times they quarrelled, and the many occasions they'd end up in each other's arms. No other woman can replace those memories so easily, he'd never played ignorant to that fact again. As soon as he noticed his stalker stopped following, he headed for his car again.

He stopped by a flower shop on his way. Bought some roses and a gift note then headed home. He'd send a driver to pick the kids from school because he'd like to spend the rest of the day with his sweetheart.

He went straight to Meilin's room. She was still in the same position but sleeping. He placed the flowers by her bedside table then turned on the stereo.

He began to dance, moving to the rhythm of the song. Meilin had her eyes on him the whole time and soon she started to smile again. He could dance until his sweat dripped to the polished wood and his reflection showed pink cheeks. After that resting would be easy and he'd have nice daydreams about the woman he d.e.s.i.r.ed "Want to know who I love the most...you" he winked at her.

"Want to dance?" He stretched his hand out for Meilin to reach and soon enough, her hand interlocked with his and her hair spun with every move they made.

"I can't beleive its been an extra eleven years already and mom's finally back on her feet" Li Na said to li hua as they watched from the distance their parents dance on a jolly day, they finally got married.

They continued to dance and spin, the lights twinkling as the couple spun in delicate circles as the guests continued to clap for them.

Meilin loved things just like the moment she was experiencing. When she was younger she'd have always imagined her self getting married but she never thought she'd be a wife at the age fifty. What mattered most was the fact that she could finally be with the man she was destined to be with. Life was finally done with the horrible games if trials they had to pass through and their prize was a wedding.

She rested her head on his c.h.e.s.t and let him sway her body round and round again. The violin and piano came in and their guests also wanted to join them on the dance floor. The music slowed and she looked at his soft blue eyes then cried.

"Thank you for Forgiving us and letting our dream come true" he said as he wiped her tears away and placed a kiss on her lips.
