The second cause of her fall is the corruption in her family's company. The main reason why Xin Lian killed herself is because she lost all the wealth that can make her pried as an heiress. Once her family has fallen the lowest, she doesn't want to be laughed as for being a failure so she instead, jumped of a tall building.

And as the current Xin Lian who wants to live a comfortable life; even if she divorces Jiu Chen and avoids all the calamity, her family would still go bankrupt if the mole isn't eradicated. So, she MUST solve the problems in the company at all cost.

Xin Lian painfully wrote the third clause that she must fix. Her CAREER.

The original Xin Lian is a multi-talented Broadway actress who can sing, dance and act. She's a famous Asian theater actress worldwide, who has tons of fans who can vouched about how good she is. The problem is, that was the old Xin Lian.

Sure, Xin Lian still have the same voice as the original so if she sings right now, she'll still have that same angelic voice. But, she doesn't know about the technics, probably can't hit that same high note, can't dance, can't act and can't perform.

All she got from the previous Xin Lian is the memories of how to do those, but she isn't a genius to know how to execute it in a flash. It takes years of practice to be as good as the original antagonist.

Xin Lian heaves out a sigh. Since it would be impossible for her to perform in any stages, she decided to just leave the Broadway dream completely and just find a whole new career path.

If all things failed, she could just work in her family's company till old age. Or, just spend her million-dollar savings that the original Xin Lian used to torture Yao Yue. Or, opens up a new business and be a young business tycoon and be her own tyrant black bellied CEO.

Anyways, she could do whatever she wants since money isn't a problem for her anymore.

It's just sad to think that the dream that she chooses over the love of her life, would be useless in the end.
