As he appeared out of nowhere, the room was still dark. Lin Wu quickly went to open the lights.

As Lin Wu opened his powered on his computer, he went to the balcony with his umbrella over him and took the dry clothes despite it being sunny outside.

He then looked at the sky, and as if the planet had a mood change, clouds quickly started to gather and what used to the beautiful blue sky turned grey.

He went to the first-floor lounge and checked his fridge.

Lin Wu took off his glasses and stared at the empty fridge again, and put it back on and stared it again.

Then he went back upstairs and laid on his bed. As he laid on the bed, he realised how quiet the room is, the overcast outside hasn't created rain yet, so the silence of the room made him feel out of place.

As he laid on the bed, he wanted to open the flatscreen TV, but the enchanting nature of the bed stopped him from getting up.

"Lin Wu! You're getting lazier by the day! Is this the state of students these days?!"

Lin Wu sighed to himself as he stared at the girl flying into his room from the balcony.

She has an adolescent face with emerald green eyes and green hair that naturally curls up on the ends. Wearing spotted pyjamas, she looked adorable as she floated about, staring at him with disdain.

"Tatsumaki-san, could you give me the remote over there?" He pointed at the remote sitting on top of his desk.

Her look of disdain grew as she used her 'quirk,' Psychokinesis to lift him off the bed.

"H-hey!"

"Why don't you exercise some more? How can you call yourself my neighbour if you're so out of shape?! Do you want to be like Pig God?!"

She yelled as she threw him onto the ground.

Lin Wu rubbed his nose as he went over to get the remote.

"Tatsumaki-san, how come the Hero Association didn't call you today?" He asked, getting straight to the point despite knowing the answer as he opened the television to the Children's Anime Channel.

Her look of disdain quickly changed to frustration as she pointed at the television, immediately switching to the Disaster Channel.

"All Might set a new record! Forty disaster-level Demons took down in only just three hours!"

Tatsumaki pointed at the monster corpse shown by the broadcast.

"It's only low Demon! So what if he kills 40 in just three hours?! Does the Pro Heroes think they're on our level?!"

Lin Wu could hear the frustration in her voice as she stared hatefully at the very large man with an equally muscular and well-defined physique. He has short blond hair, swept backwards, with two distinct tufts that stick up above his head, leaning slightly to each side, which often casts a dark shadow over his face, hiding everything but his bright blue eyes.

There are a lot of differences between the Pro Heroes and the Hero Association.

Pro Heroes are from My Hero Academia.

The Hero Association is from One-Punch Man.

The coexistence of the two separate entities surprised Lin Wu when he came to this world.

To understand the differences between the Pro Heroes and the Hero Association is their funding.

The Pro Heroes is supported by the government, first put into place on Rhode Island in America under the "Rhode Island New State Statute."

To become a Pro Hero, one must obtain a license that is handed out by the government, the easiest way to get one is through a Hero Academy like U.A. High School. The hero's performance is then assessed and then given a salary. Anyone who doesn't have a license is considered a vigilante.

A criminal.

The government considers anyone who uses their quirk in public, whether it be for good or evil, a criminal.

Technically speaking, the heroes of the Hero Association would be considered 'illegal.'

All of them.

The Hero Association's funding comes from the people, from the billionaires to the average citizen. It is a private organisation, unlike the Pro Hero System whose supports comes directly from the government.

As such, their earnings are directly from how well their heroes perform. Simply put, a hero working for the Hero Association earned a lot more than those of the Pro Hero System, but it's unstable as the rankings are even more competitive.

But how can the heroes of the Hero Association use their quirks to their full power if they'll be considered a criminal?

The government realised just how powerful these superhumans from the upper ranks of the Hero Association are, and with monsters and villains becoming stronger and stronger, they're forced to allow the Hero Association to exist, even giving them the ability to give Hero Licenses. Most notably, the S-Class heroes. Some S-Class heroes are freaks of nature; some doesn't even possess quirks!

The government knows that the Hero Association is quite... 'loose' with their requirements, and forced the Hero Association to increase it. As such, C-Class heroes are given temporary licenses, and only B-Class heroes and above are given permanent ones.

The Pro Hero System has a higher standard of heroes on average, while the standards of the Hero Association is practically nonexistent.

Noticing that Lin Wu wasn't paying attention, Tatsumaki yelled at him again.

"Lin Wu! Pay attention to when I'm talking!"

Lin Wu walked over to the drawers and took out some chocolates he won from the System gacha and offered it to her like a faithful worshipper.

Her eyes narrowed as the S-Class Rank 2 Hero glared at him.
