Jack Schnee [RWBY]

I rushed toward Amber as fast as I could by boosting my speed and jumping from roof to roof. I could see Amber frantically flying away, but it seems she was being paranoid of everything around her because she kept putting her hands up to shield from things that were nowhere to be found. I realized that it wasn't that she was being paranoid but because she saw something attacking her from that direction. Emerald must be somewhere around here. No wonder she freaked out, I forgot to warn her that they were in the city. I increased my speed even further by taking in more and more aura from my surroundings. It was then I saw an older woman wearing a suit of armor that covered her entire body and she started shooting these chains toward Amber. Amber shot a fireball in the wrong direction and I was helpless to watch as she screamed in pain as the chains shocked her and she fell from the sky. Luckily I made in time to catch her before she hit the ground. I destroyed those chains immediately and gazed around to see that all the bystanders were running away. I looked up to see the women bring out an energy sword. If she wants to fight me, then bring it on. I set Amber down and I was immediately attacked with the energy blade. It slashed against my armor but no sound was made from the collision. Another illusion huh. I pour aura into my eyes to make sure that I wouldn't fall for those petty tricks again. It seems that while I was trapped in the illusion the woman managed to grab onto Amber and was trying to flee. I was going to chase after them but Mercury and Emerald started attacking me simultaneously. I don't think I'll lose but I need to go after Amber now. It was then that the woman was hit with some gold rings and Amber was snatched by Olga.

Olga: Hey, it seems that three little dogs have come out to play with me today. I wouldn't be myself if I wasn't going after some beautiful ladies such as yourselves. Tall, dark, and serious can you handle those two little pups while I savor some well-aged wine up here.

Why is Olga here? Why is he giving me orders too? Something doesn't seem right but I have to focus on these two for now anyway. Mercury starts to perform a serious of well-placed kicks toward various parts of my body. I'm quick enough to block each of each blow or position my body so I won't lose my balance. After each kick, I devour the kinetic energy from the attack and store it. Emerald stares at me in shock from what I'm assuming is confusion from how I'm not affected by her illusions anymore. She starts shooting at me from the sidelines but the bullets merely bounce off my armor. Mercury jumps off a wall and sends a spinning kick towards my face. I block it with both my arms and manage to push him off. Emerald comes at me from behind and tries to slash me with the blade on her gun. I sidestep to the side and kick her in the stomach hard. She falters in pain and Mercury kicks some air blasts from his gun in my direction. I devour the air blasts and send a single large blast of air in Emerald's direction to blast her away. She dodges the air blast but is wide open for a fire blast. I shoot a giant fireball at Emerald and can hear her screaming as she flung back. Mercury charges me once again and is much more aggressive this time. He kicks me all over my body at a speed faster than I thought possible for him but I tank all of his blows until he starts to slow down. I grab him by his collar and smile. He couldn't see the smile but I know this is gonna hurt. All of the kinetic energy from all of his attacks was charged in my fist that I aimed at his c.h.e.s.t. He spits up blood and was sent flying away in the opposite direction of Emerald. I look at Emerald who's still squirming on the ground trying to put out the fire on her body. I slowly walk toward Emerald. Honestly, I thought that killing them would be for the best and that everything would be over if I just killed them. I thought that but I didn't want to lose my humanity for such sc.u.m such as this. There had to be a better way to stop them other than killing them. Well, I thought of one thing that should work theoretically but I never actually tried it. I grabbed Emerald's head and look her dead in the eye.

Jack: Hello, Emerald.

Emerald: You. You are...

Her eyes widen in the realization of how I am but I don't give her much time to process it as I say my next words.

Jack: Goodbye.

I activate my semblance and devour her memories. Anything related to Cinder, Mercury, and Salem are devoured first. I then moved on to all the rest of her memories as well. I'm not going to take away all her memories but I only leave the essential memories that she needs to survive and get through day to day life. She'll be able to fight probably considering that I can't get rid of muscle memory but she'll have no reason to be Cinder dog anymore or even why she was in contact with her, to begin with. After absorbing all of her memories, I placed them into a snow globe that I found on the ground. I didn't want any of her memories affecting my personality without my knowledge. I stored the globe in my pocket and assessed the situation. After literally scooping out the insides of her brain, Emerald fell unconscious and I looked for Amber so I could help treat her wounds and heal her. I jumped up to the top of a nearby building and see the fight between Olga and this mysterious woman. Olga was holding his own but clearly losing from the looks of things. I quickly grab Amber and pour my aura into her as I ran away from the fight.

Olga: No, he doesn't ask how I'm doing or nothing. He just leaves. He's so inconsiderate don't you think.

Olga gets ready to fight this woman some more but she disappears into thin air.

Olga: It doesn't matter if you disappear, I can still smell you clear as day with my semblance. Olga lunges at her once again but sees another person fall from the sky toward Jack's direction.

I look above me to see Winter once again dropping out of an Atlas ship. I mean I know you miss your brother but come on you just saw me the other day. I could probably get away from her again but it looks like they're ready to try and shoot me down from above this time. Olga realizes that woman went invisible to escape from Winter and not himself. Olga lets her go and stands between Winter and me.

Olga: Drop her and leave. Don't worry, Winter's trustworthy enough to take care of her besides you probably trust her more than your business partner. Just remember that you owe me one, Dark Phantom.

I drop Amber and run away from Winter and her forces.

Winter: Why are you getting in my way?

Olga: You're such a beautiful lady that I just had to up close and personal with you. Besides, you and these other pests have angered me immensely.

Winter and Olga start fighting but with the injuries from the other woman and his low amount of aura he doesn't put up much of a fight before being taken down. At that time, I hid and change back into my normal Beacon uniform in an alleyway. I watched from the sidelines as Olga shook his head and looked confused as to why he was being put in handcuffs.

Olga: I know I'm handsome but look beautiful flower you need to take me out to dinner before doing some cuff play if you know what I'm saying.

Winter looks coldly at him and doesn't say another word as he's taken away. I feel relieved that everything seemed to work out but also a little worried about Olga since this situation wasn't his fault. Well, they'll probably release him after knowing that he isn't involved with the situation. I turned behind me to see an unusual person standing there.
