Larger Than Life, Bigger Than Us

SongJae had already disappeared from Lily's sight when she came back to her senses. Oh the rogue! The sc.u.m! How could he kiss her so savagely?! Even though he wasn't aware, she was just a pretend fiancée and she had no intention in becoming a real one!!!

She had to regain her memories fast, before the situation became even more dangerous for her. Lily did not wanted to be swept off by love until she was herself again. Who knows? Maybe she already had a husband, fiancé or lover waiting for her to return. She really couldn't afford to string other people feelings along the way while she would discover who she really was.

Pondering over that matter, Lily remembered she wanted to research all the guests that were present at the debutante's bal. Maybe she could find clues to her past. In a hurry, she went back to her room.

After 15 minutes of researching, she gave up. No news on the bal had yet been posted. She would have to wait the next day. Lily realized it was quite late, it was a really long day and she should probably go to sleep. She did her ablutions and went to bed.

That night, she had a very strange dream.

She was in a beautiful garden. She remembered she had been there before.

"Young mistress is back? Are you tired or hungry?"

Lily was startled by the voice of the young man. She didn't expect there would be someone in the garden besides her. She didn't sense the presence of anyone just now. She turned around. He seemed also very familiar to her. He was looking like a morning sun, delicate features, intelligent eyes, white jade skin. He looked like a porcelain doll. At the same time, he was exuding a lot of confidence.

"Hi, I am sorry to intrude. Do we know each other?" Lily was wondering if the young man could help unlock a part of her past.

"Young mistress must be jesting! How could I not know Young mistress?" The man was looking at her very offended.

"I met with an accident and ever since, I...do not remember who I am."

The eyes of the young man became round with surprise. He had not seen his mistress for months and now that she was back, she didn't remember who she was?! How was that possible? What had happened to her?
