Legendary Shadow

On this special day a week before the Pokémon raid, Liam could be seen training with his Pokémon in a nearby forest. Omanyte and Kabuto were training at a river nearby in the forest with Dragonite and Ditto. They were working very hard as they leveled up constantly. They would take breaks here and there but Dragonite and Ditto work them pretty hard. 

Eevee and Shadow had gone to the shadow realm to train with Giratina while the others were focused on their own training. Liam wanted the Pokémon who could transform to improve their endurance while in their devil form, so every day they would go for a run. Tyranitar wasn't doing too good with this kind of training but he had no choice. 

While they were doing this training, they had to be in there devil forms which drained them of their energy even faster. After a few days of training, they had gotten used to it and were able to keep up with Liam. Liam had also unlocked his devil form during this time which surprised them. He was also able to transform into a devil now. 

His eyes would turn red and small horns protrudes from his forehead, as he gained strength, his fingernails started to grow longer and sharper and his body muscles would also expand. His hair would grow out when he was in this form too but would go back down when he released it. The first time he did this transformation, he ripped right out of his clothes which surprised him. 

It seemed like he needed to get clothes that stretched out in order to avoid an incident where he would be n.a.k.e.d in the middle of a battle. This was going to be his fail-safe in case he was ever without a Pokémon. Even though he had his karate experience, he still needed the strength to fight stronger opponents in case he was ever left alone to deal with Pokémon. Everybody was training hard. 

As the week went by, the Chief had finally sent somebody to come and get Liam because the Pokémon raid was getting closer. It was about time that he returned. He quickly sent a message out to Shadow to return from the shadow realm and had talked his Pokémon before he returned to town. He told them that they were free to kill these Pokémon. 

He also told them that if they were in a tight spot, they shouldn't hesitate because the Pokémon that were coming to raid this town are coming with intentions to kill and raid. Liam's Pokémon were confused and surprised that Liam had given them the permission to kill because normally they wouldn't do that even when they were in a tight spot like the way that they had experienced in Mt. Moon years ago. 

They weren't required to kill any Pokémon but were told to just make them faint, but this time it seemed like Liam wasn't pulling any punches. He knew that it will be a large crowd coming at them with evil intentions, so he didn't want to harm his Pokémon by letting them hold back. After explaining everything to them they returned to town. 

The Chief was happy to see Liam return as he prepared a small feast for him after he had gotten word that Liam was the newest champion in town, so the respect that the Chief had for Liam had grown even more as he ordered all his servants to have a small feast for him. Liam was surprised by the treatment he was getting but he threw it in the back of his mind to focus on the raid. 

The Chief said if they were able to pull this through and protect the town, he would betroth his daughter to him. Liam quickly refused him and told him that he was not interested because first off Liam had not seen her, and second off he wasn't really interested in being tied down by a woman at the moment. He wanted to have his fun exploring the Pokémon world and meeting different Pokémon and beautiful women. 

If he got married, not only would he be stuck with one woman he might have to take her with him which was something he did not want. The next day, the Chief and his guards went up the fields to go meet with the raid because they didn't want the town to be destroyed in battle, so they made their way out of town and ended up at clear field ready for battle. 

They could feel the vibration from the amount of Pokémon that were coming towards them. A huge Tyranitar was leading the raid. It seemed like he had come from Mt. Silver and was trying to dominate the area. He had a lot of minions with him as he collected them from all parts of Kanto and Johto. After seeing the amount of Pokémon that were coming, Liam was a little shaken. 

Just the flying Pokémon that showed up alone was enough to make any person shit their pants as they had even blocked out the sun, making the whole entire area dark and hard to see. They brought with them a gloomy atmosphere as they destroyed everything and anything in their way.
