The word 'Dead" echo in her. He had told her that he also lost two important in his life. So, both of them had lost one of their parents. Just like how she had lost her mother he had also lost his dad.

"I'm sorry, I know very well what it means to lose our loved one." She said feeling apologetic and empathy.

"Do you know why Zhihuan has always been so distant with people around him? He had suffered so much in his childhood. After his father's death, he distanced himself from the rest of the world. He never got to enjoy his childhood as other kids did. This cruel world made him cold and merciless.

But ever since you came into his life, he has changed so much and changed for better. I really wish to see you guys together. I know it's not been easy on you either. You have lost your mother in such a young age and your father not only cheated on her, he even married his mistress, but everyone is not like him. Just give my son a chance, a chance to prove himself and his love for you. I'm sure you'll make a great couple."

Bai Wenling knew how much Yan had gone through. She knew it was not easy for her especially when her own father is involved in it.

"I…I'm still not sure about my feelings for Zhihuan but I'll think about it," Yan said in an insecure voice. She didn't want to put him in a danger, he was already helping her so much. She knew the path she was taking would lead her loved one to danger. She was not that selfish to put his life in danger.

"I really hope you give him a chance but it's up to you." Bai Wenling said hoping that Yan would consider her words and give Zhihuan a chance.

"Aunt- ah…I mean mom can you tell me something about my mother?" Curious Yan ask Bai Wenling.

Bai Wenling gave her a warm smile before answering, "Lu Jiayi aka your mom was the most kind-hearted person I've ever met. She was so pure, so understanding and so sweet. She was always ready to help people but sometimes she could be really ruthless and merciless especially when it comes to people like Eros and Dragons." Yan notices the hint of danger and hatred in Bai Wenling eyes, but it quickly turns into normal.

"Mom what do you know about Eros and Dragons?" Yan inquisitively asks Bai Wenling.

"Eros, I don't think I hate anyone more than I hate him. He is not what he presents himself as and he does not mean what he talks. The more you try to dig about him the deeper it'll become. He is not the only one involved in 12 years ago incident. I don't know why they kill your mother but its more than you think. Be cautious with every step. Don't mess with him unless you know what you are doing." Bai Wenling said warning Yan to be careful. Hatred was clearly shown on her face the whole time.

Yan's head was messed up right now. She felt like it was not as simple as she thought. She knew what she was doing but it seems way more complicated than she thought.

"What about Dragons?" Yan again curiously question Bai Wenling.

"Dragons? I don't know anything about them, but they are surely involved in 12 years ago incident. You might want to know how am I connected to that incident right? As much as I want to tell you, I also don't want to recollect those memories that only brings pain and nothing. Maybe one-day Zhihuan will tell you." Bai Wenling honestly answered.

"I don't know what happened to you and Zhihuan 12 years ago, but I think you guys must have gone through a really painful time." Yan empathetically said.

"Please be careful with what you are doing. If something happens to you then I don't know what will Zhihuan do. After so many years I have seen him smiling so frequently and talking so much and all because of you. I don't want to see old Zhihuan. Please take care of my son." Bai Wenling voice was so sweet toward Yan which made her feel the motherly love form Bai Wenling.

Feng Yan seriously didn't know how to reply that, so she just nodded. After some time Zhihuan also came back wearing some casual outfit. He saw two women comfortably taking interacting with each other. He felt happy that they were getting along.

He came down making some noises, hoping that he would get notice and not get ignored like last time. But just like this time both ladies didn't pay any attention to him.

Only when he softly whispers in Yan's ear from the back, "Don't you wanna go to the bar with me?"

When Yan felt hot breath air on her ear, she turns her back to see who it was. Seeing Zhihuan she felt mixed emotion.

"Are you sure you wanna take me there? because if I get drunk, I don't think you'll be able to handle me, so what do you say Mr Zhu?" She said raising her brows. She didn't think he would actually consider taking her to the bar.

"Ha! As if I haven't seen you drunk already" he said tittering at her, making her confused. She doesn't remember being drunk in front of him unless he is secretly stalking her.

Wait! was he stalking her?

Bai Wenling was inwardly grinning to herself. She didn't want to ruin their plan of spending some alone time each other so she tried to excuse herself. "You youngsters go to the bar and enjoy yourself. I don't want to keep you any longer, after all, we can talk some other day."

Both of their gazes shifted to Bai Wenling. It was already 7 pm so they decided to head over to bar after bidding goodbye to Bai Wenling.

Well, it was going to be a long night.
