Ji An blushed even more, 'Why is he doing this?' She stepped back a little but Cheng Ze's move is way faster than hers. He lifted her chin gently and granted her a kiss on her lips. After his 2 seconds kiss, he whispered again in her ears, "I hope with this kiss I reminded you that we kissed the other night before you fell asleep." He didn't wait for her reply, took Sofia's hand and walked out of the house.

Ji An was caught off guard with his kiss not expecting that he will do it while Sofia was there, though Sofia cannot see what he has done as his back was facing Sofia, but she's still there. She was surprised by what he whispered in her ear, 'What?! It wasn't a dream?' "It's real?" Gently touching her lips.

"What is real?" Madam Gu interrupted her. She sat on the sofa while looking at Ji An.

It startled Ji An, "Mother! How long have you been there? Did you see anything?" She was acting like a teenage girl who was caught with her secret boyfriend by her mother.

"Am I supposed to see something? Why are you standing there daydreaming? Did something happen?" Meiling asked curiously.

"No. I'm moving in a bit. Come tomorrow for the housewarming party." She took her phone out and send her address to her mother, also sending it to Cheng Ze. "I'll go and get ready." Leaving Madam Gu and head upstairs.

Madam Gu was smiling uncontrollably. Of course, she saw how Cheng Ze kissed her and she reacted after, 'I wonder where they're going without Ji An. Should I get someone to follow him?' She smiled with her thoughts. "It will be better if he wants to find out the truth. He should really, for his sake. I can only do so much for both of them." Murmuring on her own as she shook her head gently.

"Dear wife, you're acting crazy again! What is this all about? Is it about my son and Sofia again?" Gu Feng interrupted her little monologue.

"Oh, it's nothing. Ah! Are you ready to cancel the engagement?"

"Have you got your proof?" he asked seriously as he cleared his throat.

"Let's go to the study and talk there." Taking her husband's hand and both went to the study.

Madam Gu took her favourite book and took the letter from the DNA clinic out. She handed it to Gu Feng.

As Gu Feng was reading it, his eyes open wide, upon reading the 99.9% match, "Sofia is his daughter? How? When did it happen?" Hw asked surprisingly.

"I told you already, your son is naughty!" She gave him that look, "When he went to London and saw my Ji An, he must have thought he should have my daughter. He has some guts huh', he didn't even tell us he saw her and not just that, he got her pregnant then abandoned her. Well, he didn't know he got her pregnant but still, he should have told her that he slept with her." She was a bit mad as she was telling Gu Feng the story and her thoughts about it.

"He didn't abandon her Meiling," he sounded upset as he tried to defend his son, "As you said, he didn't know she was carrying his child. I'm sure if he had known, he would have taken responsibility for what he did. We should tell them about this, we should talk to them and discuss this matter." His concern regarding that matter was evident.

"No! We will not tell them! Ji An will run away if we do that. He will have to admit what he did to her before he can tell her that Sofia is his daughter. Hmm, I guess we will have to tell him first. Not right now. Let me do it. Promise me, Gu Feng, you will not tell your son about this! Let me do it. Since it concerns my daughter."

Gu Feng nodded in agreement, "Alright! But don't drag it too long. My granddaughter is missing out and so as my son. I'll deal with the cancellation of their engagement. I'll figure something out." He was a bit stressed thinking about the engagement.

In the car, Cheng Ze started to chat with Sofia, "Sofia, don't tell your mum where we are going okay? It will be our little secret."

"Where are we going daddy? Why do we have to keep it a secret from mummy? Will she get angry?" Sofia asked one after the other.

"Do you want me to be your daddy?"

Sofia nodded repeatedly with a smile on her face.

"Listen to daddy, okay? This is for you, for mummy and for me. So we can be a family. Do you like that?" he glanced at her face to see any reactions.

Sofia was not sure about not telling mummy, but she like mummy, daddy and her to be together. "Do you promise we'll be together and you will be my daddy? Mummy said you have a girlfriend. And she said you will leave us like daddy Eric." Her face went sad and pouted her lips.
