3637 The Tide II

"Fuck!"

Curses rang out everywhere, seeing the tide of critters.

Yes, it is the tide, and it had thousands of critters and only thirty-two people to fight them.

My heart shook seeing it, but I calmed it down.

One Sky Sovereign is fighting the queen, while four were surrounding the blazing forest in the four directions, in case any critter came out of it, but now the whole tide was coming.

It had been less than ten minutes since we had attacked the queen. They shouldn't have gathered so many in such numbers; the only reason I could think about is that the queen had a small hidden-hive close by.

It is not in the open; likely underground.

Deep enough that even the soul sense of Sky Sovereigns couldn't detect it with a casual glance of soul sense.

It is extremely rare because the critters need to be in a queen. The further they are the higher the chances of death.

It is likely what happened or there may be something else that is not written in the books I have read so far.

Whatever the case is; we have to defend against the tide. All of it depends on the Sky Sovereigns, but we small Earth-Sovereigns also needed to play our part, small as it may be.

I used more power and moved. This time, I am faster and stronger, with no mood to play around.

Puch Puch Puch!

I begin to kill, the critter one after another; the tide will take a minute to reach us and till then, I will have to kill every critter around me.

It is not just me who is doing that, but also the others. Earth Sovereigns and also the Sky Sovereign, and nearly all of them are from the Tor; barely any cultist has enough strength to deal with more critters than they are already fighting.

Though my gaze is on the Sky Sovereigns, four of them are around the forest.

So, when I saw them finally moving; a relieved smile couldn't help but appear on my face.

It gave me hope, and I began to kill the critters with more fury, and within thirty-six seconds; we wiped away all the critters, both Earth Sovereigns.

Though there are still many in all directions, all of them are moving toward the tide. Wanting to join it to attack us; it is clearly Queen's doing.

Well, I am glad; it is focusing on the critters because it will focus less on the thing that is happening in the center of the forest.

The Sky Sovereigns moved toward the tide, while we Earth Sovereigns stayed in our spots, but like them, things are also coming out of our storages.

While we rarely use things like that, every powerhouse is worth their salt keeps these things. They are very useful in dealing with things like that, especially when dealing with this kind of enemy.

BANNNNG BANNNNG BANNNNG

I had just thought that when loud explosions begin to ring out. They were so powerful, that a shockwave of them nearly made me take a step back.

Others did; some nearly shot back.

I dug my heels into the ground tightly as I watched the bombs and mines turn the critters into smothering, but they were still moving.

The critters are not idiotic, but since we were in their pod and their queen had ordered them, they made the suicide change.

These deaths are causing me; not of the Sky Sovereign. I am damn glad they are getting killed, but the Earth is Sovereign. They are my prey, each one killed, is less growth energy for me.

I know, the more they killed, the better it would be for me, given their sheer numbers, but it is hard to control greed when it provides massive benefits.

Tens of Sky Sovereigns and thousands of Earth Sovereigns were blown in pieces, but there were more, and they moved toward the Sky Sovereigns standing in front of them.

That is when the second wave of attacks came.

The sky becomes clouded in the lances, spears, pillars, swords, and every construct of energy, and it felt down toward the critters like a scythe of death god to reap their lives.

TRRRRRR Trrrrr Trrrrr

The queen roared madly and so were its critters. It tried to move toward them, but the Sky Sovereign Orina stopped it.

It made the queen angry, and its attacks became more furious, but Sky Sovereign, Orina, had defended them.

The attacks fell on the critters, and they died by the thousands, but thousands have remained, and the Sky Sovereigns are attacking them, but they now have their hands busy.

Over a hundred critters fell on them, with Earth Sovereign ones moving toward us.

"Fuck, these monsters will tear us apart!" said the with four eyes. She didn't run, despite being scared, and it has nothing to do with bravery, but understanding that there is nowhere to run.

Running would be more dangerous. Here, they will be able to get help, but they will not get it if they try to run.

BANNNNG BANNNNG BANNNNG

The Earth Sovereign critters moved past the Sky Sovereigns and came at us, but as they did. The ground itself began to explode; tearing them apart while the purple gas came out, but stuck on them and started to melt their flesh.

The sets weren't the only thing I had created.

I had created these things too. I nearly didn't, thinking I would be wasting too many resources on things that I wouldn't be using.

It is a good thing; I had listened to my cautious side because now, they are massacring the critters like there is no tomorrow.

Over 90% of the critters were killed by my things.

It is not like the things others sent aren't power, they are more than mine, but the ones I sent specifically target the critters.

The critters died in mass numbers, but their numbers were too high. Those things were not enough to kill, even half of them.

We have to do that job, ourselves.
