Mutation ZERO

Andy's life has turned into a repetition of training hard in both as a as well as a soldier. Pleasant sensation of absorbing mana and using it to strengthen the body has become an addiction to him.

His new life in the camp earned him some friends too like the fat kid who was the same age as him mike. Mike was always the last one to finish the exercises but he does work very hard, only thing andy can't figure out is why is he still this fat. All things considered mike was a pretty good friend so andy didnot bother to ask about it.

It was a day like every day andy was tired to the core coming back from training. Then he started on his fighter manual. small blue lines can be seen if you squint enough being absorbed by the muscle of andy and being compressed in his dantian. Suddenly andy felt like the compression was easy like putting puzzle pieces that fit prefectly together the mana began flowing in certain pattern in his dantian such that it was being compressed fast. A vague shape of a sphere could be seen forming on his dantian, as time went by it started to became solid and then formed a perfect sphere the size of a finger nail and colour of aqua blue. Andy opened his eyes in euphoria as he finally made his first step into the world of .

he yelled out in pure joy. "what the hell are you shouting for just let me sleep man" mike was annoyed by the shouting that disturbed his sleep.

"I got a crystal now, don't be talking down to me peasant"

mike was flabbergasted

"how the hell did you get a crystal already, even francis did not make a crystal until first three months of training. i read in his autobiography"

andy did think that was strange but he decided to let it go. And seeing the strange face made by mike andy felt a wave of satisfaction in his mind.

"andy you're gonna treat me tommorrow"

"our food is taken care of by the army idiot, get some sleep. "

And thus the day ended. The next day andy woke up with a smile for a change was actually enthusiastic about going to the training. first thing he noticed when he woke up was everything was clear to him he can even see the wings of the mosqitoes flying past. 'is it because i got a crystal now, i didnt get a chance to take a look at my powers because i was so tired last night'.

Andy was shocked ' i have never heard about anyone receiving a new skill from their mutation ever, is it because my brain mutation is different from others,or is it my growth skill acting up.'

like always andy jut let the thought go and wanted to try out his new power.

he went out and started running around the tent and even when he ran more than the distance he usually do he was not tired, then he went towards the gym where he reakised he can lift twice as much as the weights he usually do. Andy was so happy and excited he did not notice staff seargent ryan walking over with strange look in his face.

"you got stronger huh, does that mean you have a crystal now"

"sir yes sir" andy was waiting for word of praise from ryan.

away.

'what the hell aren't you supposed to be amazed and in awe about me being faster than even francis' andy could only think in his mind as he did not dare speak it out loud.But what he did not notice was the weird glint in the eyes of ryan. Every soldier ever who was trained by ryan will shiver at the sight of that glint. It means he had found another toy for him to play with.

mike was waiting by the tent so that both of then can go to the messhall together.

"come on man where were you? its your treat today remember that.... "

both of them went to the mess hall.

The training ground.... Andy now resented letting ryan know about his crystal. His training has been increased to 5 times the difficulty meaning he had to do all the things nolmal soldiers do but he had to do it five times more.

At the end of the training andy was called to the office of ryan ' is he going to give me any advice on mana training or something' andy realised he was far off the mark when he entered the so called office inside which a fighting ring was placed.

it seems like it was recently cleaned Especially for him to train in. Andy was asked to get in after wearing the protective gears placed in a table beside him.

ryan was already inside the ring and said "get ready i will tell you the rules now" andy was confused "what rules why am i here " he shouted but ryan continued as if he did not hear anything.

"the rules are very easy you cannot run away from the ring

even before andy can finish he was sent flying back with a punch ' what the hell is that power felt like getting hit by a car'

andy got up he was a bit mad about the sneak attack. "the enemy will not wait for you to get ready" ryan said.
