My New Isekai!

Chapter 47 - Make This Adventurer Have This 'Blessing'?!

We started moving shortly after, and I sat back in relaxation.

"Five long days…"

"Yeah, we could've gotten there quickly if we bought lizard runners. They're much faster, and we could get there in about two to three days," Polly said.

I face palmed, and exhaled in frustration.

"I'm dumb. I should've gotten that."

"It's fine, not many people know about it. I didn't think you'd know since you seem to not be from the kingdom."

"Yeahhhhh." I said rolling my eyes to the left.

"Hmm?" Polly hummed.

"Nothing." I laughed ignoring her question.

We all sat in silence, then, it started raining.

Hearing the rain hit the roof of the carriage slightly brought joy to my brain. It was like back home when the rain would pour down, and it being so easy to find comfort. It was so full of comfort, I fell asleep right then and there.

I suddenly woke up to a shake, "Haru, Haru.." Kura said quietly.

"What?" I asked.

"You've been asleep for hours now. Apparently, we passed a lady who said she can help us reach our destination with Teleportation."

I shot up quickly, "There's that kind of magic?!"

"Yeah…?"

"I have to meet her!" I said jumping up out of my seat.

"Okay, come here, then." Kira eaie walking outside of the carriage.

I followed her outside and then I saw that same red-head busty woman.

"Oh, her…" I mumbled to myself.

"It's you," she yelled out running to me.

"Yeah, hi." I said wary of her.

"Look," the girl whispered, "pretend that you saw nothing."

"Okay," I said back. "Can you please teleport us…?"

"Yeah, of course!" she said with a huge smile on her face.

"Thanks."

"Everyone, get in a short group, then, I'll teleport you all."

We all followed her command, and got teleported. Once teleporting, we saw a huge crowd of people; completely nonchalant about our arrival.

"Wow!" I said with surprise. "I never knew something like this existed!!"

All three girls laughed at me, """We need to get ready for the Goblin attacks, remember?"""

I slouched over, "Damn it!!!" I shouted attracting everyone's attention.

Kura ran up to me and covered my mouth, "Are you seriously dumb?! If you couldn't tell, you're being hunted by assassins, and now you're screaming? You're the smartest person, aren't you?!"

I pushed her hand off my mouth, "I know, I just am frustrated by the fact of it, we came here, and I forgot why!" I said.

"""It's fine, let's just head to the position of the attacks, more adventurers will be there as well.""" all the girls mentioned.

"Okay," I said. "Where is it?"

Polly heard this and started walking in a direction that seemed to have a wall covering the city and the other side. It looked like Attack On Titan came into this world if I'm being honest.

We walked for a bit, and reached a building with serious looking people walking in and out. I pulled out my Adventurers Card and check my level.

"Level 19?!" I yelled out loud.

Kura sounded surprised by that, "Wait what?"

"I'm level 19, how?"

"I mean, you did defeat a bunch of bandits not to long ago. That could be the reason why."

"Hmm good point," I said looking down upon abilities I could learn. And I saw what the redhead lady used, "Teleport."

There was also, "God's Blessing"? What the heck is that? I clicked on it, and learnt the skill. Nothing seemed to happen, though. Then I felt it, extraordinary pain. It was nothing like Zim's pain, though. It still made me fall to me knee.

"Haru, are you alright?" Kira asked crouching down beside me.

I could see under her skirt, and this kicked me right out of the pain.

"I-Y-yeah, I'm okay!" I said enjoying my view.

Kura seemed to know I was looking and stood straight up, "Let's head inside!" she said leading our way to where the adventurers were at.

Walking in, the room seemed to look much larger than it looked outside.

"Is everybody here!?" a man's voice yelled out of through all the voices and people; making everybody stop what they're doing and pay attention to them. "Great, since the Goblin's have arrived, there have been many difficulties. One including the fact that a Demon King General has arrived!"

"A Demon King General…" some adventurers whispered to themselves. I too, also whispered to myself.

Everyone's reach remained the same: surprised, scared, and all-round emotions.

"Let's not let this discourage us, though!!" the man yelled through the crowds. "We may be on the downhill side of this attack, but we can't let that get us sad. We must fight!"

For some reason, this corny line made everyone scream in excitement. "Let's do this!!!" everyone yelled, but me, I stayed still with a blank expression.

I went to the position of the man, "Hey," I said to him.

"Yes, young lad?"

"Can you say something less...y'know, cheesy?" I said not trying to aim for any offense.

He crouched in front of me and gave me a death stare. "Hmm, I like you!" he said laughing.

I laughed as well, scared as hell. I was expecting him to say "Duel me!!" or something.

"Hah, wait, aren't you that kid that defeated the first Demon King General. I've seen posters about you!"

I felt flattered, "Thank y-"

"I've heard that you're a wimp who only uses one magic to one shot enemies."

This ticked me to a point of never before, "Wimp, you say?" I said with my eyes twitching. "Thank you for speaking to me."

"Yeah…?" the man said.

I walked back, clenching my hand into a fist. I breathed in and out smoothly. But couldn't get rid of my anger.

I know I was a hikikomori, but a wimp? That's absurd! I'm not...a...wimp.

For some reason, when I said "wimp," I got flashbacks to every single time ive used Zim in battle.

"Haru, are you okay?" Kura asked me.

"Y-yeah, I am. I'm just- I am going to wait over there. Leave me alone for a bit, okay?"

"Okay…" she said giving me a worried look.

Lately, that's all I see of people. The typical cliche acts that I absolutely hate, but love at the same time.

I sat down at a table, ignoring people who walked up to me. Am I really a wimp? I mean, I'm level 19, isn't that a good level for a person who's only been adventuring for a month or two?!

Next thing I knew, I heard a siren, "Warning warning: Demon King General, and Goblin army approaching quickly. All adventurers, get ready for a battle!"

Every person who was sitting down stood up, got their swords, and I did the same as well, not accompanied with my party.

"Haru, wait up!" said Kura running up from behind me.

"Sorry." I said to her. "Where's the sisters?"

"They went ahead of me. They like Demon King Generals because- nevermind."

"Yeah, you don't have to fin-"

Finish, I meant to say finish, but got interrupted by the sound of a crashing against the big concrete wall.

Kura and I ran outside to see the commotion, and saw her, the…General? It looked like a mutated version of a cat.

I blurted out with laughter.

"Now is not the time." Kura stated to me.

"I know let's hurry up." I shot back to her.

We both ran up to the General, and so did other adventurers. Before I started attacking, I stared and watched other people fight. I want to study the General's moves before I ran up there; before I blindly risk my life.

The General seemed to look tough, so tough in fact, I didn't want to fight it period.

Once looking towards the people fighting the General, I saw some buff men, I saw women casting strength magic and I saw Kura fighting the General as well. I looked away from Kura, looked back, and saw something I didn't want to believe. Kura got stabbed in the stomach…

Time seemed to freeze when I saw that, but it wasn't Zim, it wasn't the redhead lady. It was my pure shock, almost like what happens in anime.

Time seemed to continue on, and I ran to the bleeding Kura, "Kura, Kura, please, please, don't die!!"

Kura laid up her hand across my face, her hand covered in her own blood. "Haru, I didn't want to die, I didn't want to go out like this. But, as an adventurer, it is a duty, a right to die in battle in a quest." she said in a raspy voice.

"Yes, I know…" I said crying out loud. "But you still have to live, you can leave Kazuma, Megumin, Polly, Charlotte, and...me! You can't leave all of us!"

Kura coughed up blood. "Haru, can you do something for me…?"

"Yes, anything…" I said with tears across my face.

"Tell dad I'm sorry for not following his commands correctly. Tell mom I'm sorry I couldn't complete the mission of the explosions. And you, Haru, I'm sorry I couldn't say, 'I love you'."

"You still can! You can still tell everyone those things yourself! You can't leave me with the responsibility of seeing your parents finding out your dead, and it being my fault. If you were to die, I don't know what I'd do. Please, hang on. I'll get he-"

I got cut off by Kura giving me a kiss, and then drifting to the ground with blank eyes.

"No, no, no, no, no, no, no!!!!" I yelled out.

Suddenly, even though I didn't summon it, huge black mist came out of my back in the shape of wings. People stared, even the General stared directly at me.

"Don't leave me!!!" I said crying out, the wings growing larger, and larger by my animosity, and despair unleashing into my veins. Soon enough, I couldn't control it anymore.

I put Kura down, and focused on the General, pure beet red eyes ran across my sockets. Wings growling to be used, and I followed the instinct and flew towards the General, grabbing them and flying to the air with their lively body.

I soon got black veins run across my whole body and sent the General towards the ground at sound barrier breaking speed. Finally crashing into the ground, the General let out a huge howl of pure pain.

Not saying a word, I lifted up the General and smashed him against a tree again, and again, and again, and again. Soon enough, their body turned into a corpse, that wasn't enough to plead my rage, I lifted to corpse with one hand and threw them into the air. Making sure to finally kill the one thing that made me experience this much pain.

Suddenly, my heart pounded out of my c.h.e.s.t, "Use it, use it, use it, use it, use it." a deep voice repeated on and on.

I followed their command and walked back to Kura. I unsheath my sword and slashed the palm of my hand, my blood dropped into the wound in Kura's stomach. Before anything happened, all the power went back to nothing, and I passed out.
