My New Isekai!

Chapter 66 - This Adventurer Comes to a Familiar Place!?

Everyone stood quiet in that living above average living quarters.

Suddenly, Aqua said, "So, Haru, remember that Cursed Magic you picked last year?"

"Yeah?" I questioned, "Is there something wrong with Zim?"

"Yes, actually." Aqua said, "Us angels never expected the magic to learn more spells, and now, I've been sent down - because I am the one that let you have it - to take it away from you."

I nodded my head for a few moments, then realized what she said. "What?" I suddenly said.

"Yeah. Now, if you don't mind… come here." Aqua said walking over to me, having a glow within the palm of her hand.

I stepped back in fear. "But… no. I'm not gonna let you have him."

"Come on, Haru." Aqua said, "It's for your own good, anyways."

"I don't care!" I yelled aloud, "Zim is the only reason I'm alive, and the only reason I've made it this far to begin with!"

"I'm sorry. But it breaks the rules. We never expected such a thing to happen. Look on the bright side, though! You've already defeated the Demon King, no reason to keep the cheat." Aqua said, walking closer to me as I walked myself to a wall.

"No, stay back!" I yelled aloud, raising my hand in the direction of Aqua.

Suddenly, it looked as if the world was twisting itself. Then, next thing I knew, I woke up in a grassy field with kids playing with a swing set, at a park.

I stared at the place they were playing at, a small playground that seemed to be in a park.

"Where am I…?" I mumbled to myself.

"Let's get out of here." Zim said, confused, as well.

I complied and walked out of the little park area, then I saw what I couldn't believe: cars, billboards, tall buildings, technology.

"Zim, can you explain what's happening? 'Cause I know for sure you did this."

"Haru, I have to idea where we are." Zim said from inside of my head.

"It looks as if we're back in Tokyo… but, that's impossible?"

"Hmm," Zim hummed to himself. "Let's go deep into this city, we can't make false assumptions. Maybe you accidentally used 'Teleport' and teleported in a far civilized area."

"Probably," I said. "Yeah, let's walk further in."

I soon walked across the road (making sure not to get hit by another truck) and made my way deeper into the city. I saw anime shops, cafe's, and other sorts of familiar stuff.

"Zim," I mumbled, "If I'm right, I have somewhere I'd like to go."

"Go on, Haru." Zim said, obviously as confused as I was about this place.

I headed down a street. Then, about thirty minutes later, I made it to the high school I attended (didn't actually attend school). I fell to my knees.

"Haru, what's wrong?!" Zim asked urgently.

"I am pretty sure we're back in Japan…"

"Japan? Wow… it's changed since I last lived here." Zim said, looking through my eyes.

I got up from my knees, and turned around. If I'm right, my old home is over in this direction.

I ran towards the path that led to my home. I even saw the place I got run over. Soon enough, I made it to my old, saddening house.

"Haru, why are we standing here?" Zim asked me through tears forming inside my eyes.

"It's… my old home," I said as I moved closer to the door. Then, knocking three times. A few moments later, the door opened, and then saw my mother.

Tears formed my mother's eyes once she saw me. "H- Haru…?"

"It is I," I said jokingly.

My mother lunges at me, hugging me with great force. "I'm so glad you're alive! But… how are you here…?"

Great, a hard to answer question right off the bat...
