New Beginning: Road To Conquest

A week had passed and Eliah manage to absorb more stat using the same method and allocate all the free stat immediately.

With his current stat, he had enough assurance that he now can start to actively find opportunity to bring himself up and no longer need to be so careful with his actions.

At the Saturday night, Alyssa had called and inform Eliah that she will come to pick him up at 9 in the morning. After her visit previously, both of them always messaging each other and their relationship had become close again same like during their college, or maybe closer than before.

Eliah dress his new set of clothes with blue dark t-shirt and black jeans. He wears his running shoes since he got nothing better to wear as the other options is his cheap sandal.

Sharp at 9, Alyssa arrive at his place and call him to come down. She driving her expensive car which worth several hundreds of thousands dollar.

He gets in to the car and seat beside her. Her outfit clearly match with her face with long white skirt pair with light blue shirt and light brown cardigan on top of it. He can feel that Alyssa really look into their outing as Alyssa keep reminding him nearly every day. Since Eliah did planning anything for this occasions, he will just follow Alyssa arrangement for the day. The road is still empty since it was weekends and most of the people are still at their house during this time. Since both of them are not yet having their breakfast, they go to Alyssa favourite cafe in the city.

"It's been long time that we did not spend time together like this. I still remember our first meeting where we only stay at the cafe front the college gate and sit together for nearly 3 hours" suddenly Alyssa start being melancholic and recall her past.

"Why with the sad face. You will be aging faster if you are always like this" Eliah know that Alyssa still had her resentment towards him and try to brighten up the mood.

"Its fine, everyone told me that I am still look young like early 20 girls. Not like you which already looks like a middle aged man"

"Well I can't deny that. But you must know that man become better with age. With my looks and body, I have my confidence that there will be a lot of young girl will fall in love with me today."

"Nah…only fools will fall in love with you. Nowadays girl will only love the rich guys"

"Hahaha…so are you fools or not"? Eliah start to tease her.

"Stop talking and continue eat your food" Alyssa replied bashfully.

"Okay I will eat and hope to meet some fools today"

Actually after her visit previously, Eliah mood had become better and the gloomy aura around him is already disappear. His temperament also become better and he became more approachable compare to before.

They took their own sweet time to done with the breakfast since they are not rushing for anything. Alyssa had clear all her schedule just for today and Eliah got nothing to do apart from keep her company for today.

After they had their breakfast, both of them went to visit the biggest shopping complex in the city.

At first, Eliah refuse to go since everyone know that it will bring agony for men to follow woman go for shopping, but since they never go shopping together before plus Eliah limited interactions with opposite gender, he wants the experience at least once in his life.

Once they reach the shopping complex, they go to the cinema to confirm if there is any interesting movie available for the day. They decide to watch a random comedy movie which was scheduled for showing later at afternoon.

Once they had book the ticket, they start to walking around the complex from shop by shop. Alyssa hardly have time to go for shopping since she always busy with her works and will use this chances to purchase the items that she wish to buy.

"Let's go to that 'Urban' shop. I need to buy some clothes for me and shoes for you" Alyssa show to Eliah at one of the shop there with 'URBAN' sign at the outside.

Eliah start to feel nervous when Alyssa mentions to buy shoes for him. It's not that he doesn't want her to buy for him, but he knows what kind of shoes that she will buy for him. Simple, it will be the most expensive shoes that available in the shop.

"Sure, but just buy the things for yourself. No need to buy things for me"

"No. I still want to buy shoes for you. It will be my first gift to you after we graduate. Don't reject it or I will be very sad" Alyssa reject his suggestions.

"But..," Eliah try to reject her offer.

"No excuse. You must accept it. Eliah, I had done some investigations about yourself and I know what situations you are in. I still feel angry to you since you did not come to me for assistance and I respect your decision. But this is my gift to you and I sincerely want to give it to you" Alyssa interrupt him and not give him a chance.

Eliah reluctantly accept Alyssa reasoning and follow her.

"Eliah, how about this shoes. I think it look nice"

"Oh. But it's too expensive. Let choose another"

"Eliah, you know that the price is not an issue for me. Okay let us buy this. Now let buy some clothes for me."

It only takes few minutes to buy his shoes, but several hours for her clothes. She had try too many clothes that Eliah had lost to count.

"You will always say all the clothes that I choose as nice. Did you really mean it or it just a default comment" Alyssa complaining since Eliah always give the same comments for all the clothes that she wants to buy.

Now Eliah had experience the legendary suffering for accompany woman for shopping and all the word use to ill.u.s.trate the suffering mentions in the stories that he heard are not exaggerated at all. In fact, the words they use is not enough. It should be more and might be some scholar need to create new 'term' or 'word' to describe the experience.

Suddenly a handsome guy wearing some expensive outfit approach Alyssa from her side.

"Alyssa, how are you? What are you doing here"? the man approaches her slowly and try to hug her

"Hi Craig, I just shopping for some clothes here. What about you"? Alyssa reject his approach for hug and distance herself. From her actions, Eliah know that Alyssa are not comfortable with the guy.

"Just wandering around here to release some stress. After last week project has been completed, now I just need to relax myself and enjoy the environment here. Did you come alone? Let's walk together" the man ignores Eliah existence since he did not ever think that Alyssa is going out with him due to Eliah cheap outfit.

"It's okay, I am going out together with my friend. Let me introduce you, this is Eliah my friend. Eliah, this is Craig one of my father business partners." Alyssa cling herself to Eliah hand and introduce him to Craig.

"Hi Eliah, nice to meet you." Craig seem surprise with Alyssa actions and feel jealous with Alyssa actions but quickly hide it.

"Hi Craig, nice to meet you too." Eliah can feel the hostility from Craig but pay no attention to it and reply Craig greeting politely.

"You must be a great guy capable of befriend with great girls like Alyssa. But I never heard her father mentions anything about you when we meet." Craig try to inquire more about Eliah.

"No I am just a worker in a small shop. We both had known each other from the college and we haven't seen each other for a very long time. We just came across few days ago and decides to catch up with each other today to remind back the old days in college." Eliah try to explain his interactions with Alyssa to Craig.

"Oh. My bad, I thought you are some great guy that are trying to pursue her. Okay, just have your own time and I will not disturb you guys anymore" Craig hostility to Eliah lessen as he knows that Eliah will not be accepted by Alyssa father as he knows what kind of man that her father acknowledge to be Alyssa partner.

"Okay Craig. See you again" Alyssa interrupted their conversations and drag Eliah away.

"Eliah. Let's pay for the clothes and we go to other place." Alyssa quickly go to the counter to complete the payment. She seems want to leave the shop as fast as she can.

"Okay madam. I will follow your command" Eliah said jokingly.

Once payment completed, both of them went to other place far away from Craig.

"You seem uncomfortable with Craig. Why"? Eliah asked Alyssa.

"Well, he is one of the person that father had recommend to me to be as my partner. But I never like him since I know that he is not a good person inside. I mean not that he does something illegal, but he already had relationship with multiple woman at the same time." Alyssa once again complaining about her life.

"What did you means by one of the person. Did your father provide you a list of guys to you"? Eliah feel weird. He understands that might be some marriage arrangement between parent for their children, but when she mentions as one of the guys something weird come at his mind. Did he want Alyssa to marry multiple husband?

"Let just say that my father controls which guys that can date me. Craig is one of the guys that father approve of. But I never liked all those guys since I can see that all of them are having ulterior motive for coming to me. Beside I already have the guy that I like"

"Oh, okay. I can guess that you already talk this with your father and he did not accept it. He still wants you to marry someone that he can accept right"

"Yes, you're right. It's like all those movies when woman always being treat as item as part of business transactions" Alyssa start feeling sad about her life.

"I am not sure what the reason for your father to have those decisions. But I really think that he do that because he love you and want all the best for you. Remember this, no father want their child suffered because of their mistake" Eliah comfort her and hug her lightly from the side.

Maybe because she feels sad and want to find something to comfort her, Alyssa did not repulse with Eliah action and lean her body to Eliah.

"Okay, let's go to the arcade. I want to show you something" Eliah drag her to the game centre in the shopping complex to lighten up her mood.

Both of them goes to the arcade at the top floor and change their cash to token at the counter.

Since Eliah had improve his strength, he intended to test his new power at the punching machine and if the score is high, he might be able to amaze Alyssa. It is normal for guys want to show off if front of girls especially pretty girls.

"Let's me try this punching machine and watch me" Eliah drag her to one of the punching machine there.

"What you are trying to show me here. You want to brag that you are strong, huh. Old man" Alyssa tease him and feel Eliah as funny with his actions.

"Just watch and see my power…hahahahaha, after that you can worship me as your king"

Eliah put the token into the machine and select the difficulties as high so he can test his full strength.

Bam!!!!!!!

One loud noise can be heard once he releases his punch. The number increasing rapidly and become slower each time. 900,901,902...923 and 924.

Finally, the number stop at 924. It's not the highest record since the machine record is 999 which is the maximum value.

"See my power. I am not yet unleashing my special move and the record is already this high. Or else this machine already broke to several pieces" Eliah brag.

Due to his loud punch, its attract attention quite a number of people around. They become surprise with the number since it was their first time seeing such high number recorded at the machine.

"Wow, since when you become so strong. Are you working out"? Alyssa become astonish and sweet smile appear at her face.

"It's my talent and nothing else. If you want to know, I just participate in marathon race few weeks ago and my time beat the national record. Just pity that it was amateur race, or else my name has been recorded in the 'Records Book'" Eliah did not forgot to show off more in front of Alyssa.

"Ya..ya…I believe you. Let's play other games since I cannot play this punching machine."

With Alyssa leading, both of them play other games and have fun with each other.

After spending quite some time, both of them go to have their lunch and go to the cinema next since to watch the movies that they had book previously.
