One Love Betrayal, Another Bliss..

Come Monday. It is my first day of work!

This will be a great start! She is wearing the back pencil skirt and blood red blouse. She looks so beautiful and hot, cheered her inner self looking into the mirror. She left her apartment and got off from the public transportation bus, which dropped her across the street from Spark Industries Corporation. It was a tall massive building that overlooked the City A. She casually walked inside towards the reception area.

"Ruby Tang" She told the receptionist as she arrives at the premise. "The new PA?" The receptionist asked as she typed something on the computer without even acknowledging her presence. "Yes." She replied with a smile even if the lady won't see it. "36th floor." The receptionist said that surprises her. Lucas, who interviewed her never mentioned the floor or was she just excited about the job that she forgot to ask about it. The receptionist handed her the passes and finally looked at Ruby, said. "Here's your pass. Take the lift over there, it will take you to 36th floor." Ruby nodded. "Thank you."

She was just 15 minutes earlier on her schedule. She immediately searched for the elevator and it was the gold elevator caught her eyes with '36th Floor' signage. Thank god there is a special elevator in this building! And two guards were guarding it stopped her. She was glad to showed them her passes and immediately one of the guard pressed the up button. It immediately opens as if the lift is waiting for her, but not the golden one. She hopped into the next elevator and on her way to the 36th floor.

Goodness! She felt small pits in her stomach. She is not afraid of heights, but the elevator ride made her dizzy. Good thing it did not stop on every floor, for sure she will throw up if it did. She immediately stepped out as the elevator door opens when it reaches its floor. Ruby was welcomed by a complete silence as she is walking on the floor. She was amazed o the golden floor. She can't help her eyes to explore, the floor screamed wealth and luxury. The gold theme suits the 36th floor. The floor is wide and light is blinding as it reflects the gold color.

"You must be the new part-time PA." She was completely surprised when someone talks, Ruby was unaware of her presence. "Hi, I'm Ruby Tang." She said to her and smiled immediately. She decided to save her amazement later.

"Welcome to Spark Industries Corporation! Please call me, Sandra Wang, the secretary." The lady in her near fifties smiled at Ruby. She welcomed her as if she is very glad of her presence. "And this is Gwen Wee. She's a PA too." Sandra introduced Gwen. "Thank you, Sandra. Hello..." Ruby smiled again. Gwen stood up. "Hello, we meet again."

"So, is Lucas around?" Ruby asked her boss' whereabouts. While they were talking about, her boss who just got out from the elevator. Lucas is walking in all his glory, in a dark suit that takes everyone's breath away on the floor and Ruby is not exempted from it. He walks on the floor like a true owner of the place, he resonates power and control. The dark suit really suits him. Ruby's thought as her eyes follows his every step.

"I don't think your first day of work will be nice." Gwen murmured as her eyes are on Lucas's serious face. "Good morning, sir!" Ruby immediately greeted her boss who's already in front of them. She was once told, that if someone greeted you nicely, you should at least greet back but the person, who is already in his office, is far from it. "He is in bad mood again." Sandra said as if this is all natural. How can she work if the boss' mood is terrible? Silence for a moments, Ruby then asked Sandra and Gwen where's her desk, both pointed, there!

"That would be your office, everything is ready for you and here is your room key." Sandra office was right next to boss door while Gwen next to Sandra, mine was just right next to Gwen. Sandra said and they left her, back to their own office. Cl.i.c.k.i.n.g the key to unlock the door of her office, she is in awe again. "Wow! This is huge room!" She talked to herself while eyeing her own room. For a part-timer like her, to have such a big room is considered lucky.

"I have my own desk, telephone, computer and even fax c.u.m printer" Seeing her new office. "I think this is too much. Why would I have my own room, I am barely just part-timer. A small table is enough for me." She added. She is still standing and doesn't know what to do when a page in her room emitted a sound. Who could this be? It might be my boss! She quickly answered it and found out that it was Gwen. She said, they will meet her in thirty minutes to tour Ruby around the company and give her the full details of the new PA job.
