One Love Betrayal, Another Bliss..

"You're welcome." He said. "But wait, what's with you two?" Lucas can't help but ask. Ruby looked hesitant to answer him. "Look, tell me, I won't judge you." He honestly told her. She scratches the back of her head before she speaks. "Don't get it wrong, Lucas. I'm fine. I will tell you tomorrow but tonight I'm tired. This headache's causing me..... Anyway, thanks again." Her statement made him giggled. Gary looked at her with curiosity.

"Well, I'm happy hearing that Ruby. Sure, no problem, we're friends." Lucas said smiling. "And I'm sorry I caused a scene tonight. I really hope tonight ended good but..." She apologized to him making him chuckled. "Well, I am glad that nothing happened to you. Your ex.. I mean Marcus seem to be a wonderful person." He said. "Sure, he is....!" Ruby said and for a moment there was complete silence. After sometines, they bid each other goodnight and went back to their individual room.

After shower, I sat down near my bed with my back resting to its wall. And I again found my eyes watering. Tears made their way through my eyes as Marcus' betrayal came rushing into my mind again. I wanted to scream, shout, cry out loud but I was helpless. No matter how much I try to stayed away from him, he still attracts me like a magnet.

Suddenly, I heard a knocked at my door. I opened the door and Lucas was in front of me. "Why... Are you crying?" He asked me as his hands pads on my shoulders. "Its noth... I...." I answered. "You can talk to me." He ordered. "I ought to know as your boss. What's wrong..." He asked me, now hugging and c.a.r.e.s.sing my back with his fingers firmly. "You can tell me Ruby..." He assured. "I... I just... felt hurts and lonely..." I lowered my gaze and finally told him about me and Marcus.

"Ohh..." Lucas spoke. "He's a fool. An idiot. He should've treasured you." He's staring deep in my eyes. "You've beautiful sparkling eyes Ruby. You're... and you're just beautiful..." I gasped. I have never seen this side of boss. "Shh, it's okay now. I'm here now." Lucas kissed my forehead, then, he claimed my lips with his. I started shaking and pushed him away. "Please let go." I softly said, blushing. "Ruby, you know what's bothering me the most? I'm sorry, I am attracted to you! I don't want to hide my feelings." I was speechless.

Then he kissed my lips again and I was weak against his lips. 'Ohh... Shitt! My boss, Lucas Yii is kissing me...!!!' He nibbled onto my lower lip and kissed me gently. He's a good kisser too. I didn't realise when I started responding to his kiss. I sighed and breathed in and out deeply, relaxing myself.

"What did you mean? I don't want to be hurt again." I croaked and stated. I felt him tense up. "Shh, don't worry about it. I promise you I will do anything in my power to not get you hurt." He brought my head to his c.h.e.s.t and I just didn't have the strength right now to push him away. "I will not give you a chance to walk away from me. I always stick to my word." He smirked

'Stick to his word'. What does that mean? Should I trust his words? I knew my consequences. When its comes to love, I knew that eventually I would get hurt whether it was a major thing or a minor thing. But it was just wrong to fall for him, he was my boss. Ruby just wanted someone to treats her a little special in many ways. She's looking for someone trustworthy to share her life with, to fill the sadness in her heart. She just never thought he would have this in him. This was definitely quite a shock. She definitely wanted to be love again... but at the same time, the feeling of betrayal... make her tensed again.

Noticing her in puzzled, he shrugged and kissed her forehead again. "This doesn't make any sense at all, you're my boss?" I scrunched up my nose. He chuckled. "I know. But I really do like you." We just stood there silently, his arms wrapped around her waist and my head resting on his c.h.e.s.t, in silence. "I can live with this, because I'm the luckiest man in the world." He says out of the blue.
