Inside the car that was moving along the street, the old man introduced himself. "My name is Wu Zhi Tian, you can call me Grandpa Wu. What is your name little girl?"

"My name is Ming Yue and this is my cat, Bai Hu." Ming Yue answered and showed Bai Hu who was being silent the whole time since Grandpa Wu called out to her.

Of course seeing such Bai Hu, Ming Yue was puzzled.

'Bai Hu.. are you not feeling good? You have been silence since Grandpa Wu came' Ming Yue asked Bai Hu in her mind.

'...This old man reeks with impurities..' Bai Hu said.

'..Impurities? You mean Grandpa Wu is possessed by evil spirit?' Ming Yue frowned even more.

'..No, but maybe in his house there is one. This old man's health is deteriorating even though he looks fine outside.' Bai Hu said, glancing at the old man.

"Ming Yue.. it means 'Bright Moon'. The name really fits you." Grandpa Wu said with a warm smile, cutting the conversation between Bai Hu and Ming Yue.

Ming Yue whose attention diverted from Bai Hu, showed a soft smile of gratitude "Thank you Grandpa Wu."

However her face soon became worried, "But is it okay for me to stay the night in your house, Grandpa Wu. I am afraid your family will mind."

Grandpa Wu snorted, "If they dare to then I shall punish them."

Ming Yue didn't say anything, only let out a polite smile. She didn't believe that the old man would really punish his own family for a stranger like her. After all, blood was thicker than water.

Ming Yue snorted in irony as she mocked herself for thinking blood was thicker than water. Some blood could be tossed away as if it didn't exist in the first place. Right.. like the way her mother did to her..

They arrived at the mansion where Wu family lived. Only when she stared at the mansion Ming Yue realized that Grandpa Wu was from THAT Wu family. The number one family in D City. Realizing the fact, Ming Yue began to feel slightly nervous. Even though her soul was the soul of 25 years old woman, she at least still felt a little bit nervous dealing with wealthy people.

"Come, let me introduce you to my family members" Grandpa Wu said as he entered the mansion with Ming Yue followed slightly behind.

"Father in law, you have come." A gentle voice could be heard followed by a woman who looked like in her thirties came to greet the old man.

"Hmm. Where is everyone?" Grandpa Wu asked the woman.

"They are all in the living room." The woman answered and noticed Ming Yue who was carrying Bai Hu in her arms. "Father in law, this is.."

"This is little Yue, she will be the guest in our house for a while." Grandpa Wu said and introduced the woman to Ming Yue. "Little Yue, this is my daughter in law, Yu Fan Mei."

"Good Evening, Mrs. Wu. My name is Ming Yue, I am sorry for troubling you with my visit." Ming Yue introduced herself politely.

Fan Mei stared at Ming Yue and the cat in her arms for a shirt while before smiling gently, "No need to be so formal. You can call me Aunty Mei. Come, let's introduce you to everyone."

Ming Yue was brought to living room. Inside, she saw there were two males and one female. When they saw Ming Yue and the cat, they were surprised to have an unexpected guest. However, it was the same for Ming Yue but for different reason.

"Father, this girl.." A man that looked like in his forties spoke as he stood up from the chair he was sitting on. His face was stoic and looked seriously strict. The other young male and female also stood up with him.

"This is Little Yue, she will be the guest in this house for a while." Grandpa Wu said. "Little Yue, this man here is my son. Those two near him are my grandchildren."

"My name is Wu Shi Jian, this is my son Wu Lin Shao and my daughter, Wu Lin Zhao." The man said, still with the unchangeable stoic face. "Since you are my father's guest then you are our guest. Please enjoy your stay."

"Good Evening, Mr. Wu. I am sorry for troubling you with my sudden visit and thank you for your kindness." Ming Yue said politely but still staring at Wu Shi Jian's face with a frown on her face.

Seeing such Ming Yue, Grandpa Wu's furrowed. "Little Yue, why are you--"

"Ah! I remember now!" Wu Lin Shao suddenly cut in, "You are the cursed child of Qing Family, aren't you?" He asked in casual tone, didn't have any ill intention in his words.

Fan Mei stared at her son "Cursed child? What do you mean by that, Shao er?"

"Well it's the famous rumor in D city. Mom, you need to be more updated with what is going on in this city, you know." Lin Shao said.

"Explain what you meant by 'Cursed Child'." Grandpa Wu probed Lin Shao to continue,

"Well she is abandoned by her own mother. rumor has it that it's because she can see ghosts." Lin Shao explained and stared at Ming Yue excitedly "Can you really see ghosts?"

"I can." Ming Yue answered in calm manner.

"Wow! That's so cool!" Lin Shao exclaimed, staring at Ming Yue with a newfound of respect.

"Don't you feel scared?" Lin Zhao asked, "I mean.. it's ghosts after all." She said with a nervous smile.

Ming Yue smiled softly, "At first yes.. but I have to get used to it whether I like it or not. It's given to me since I was born after all." She said and soon her smile disappeared as all of a sudden all things in living room began to shake hard as if there was an earthquake.

"Wha-What is going on?!" Lin Shao asked as he pulled his sister into his embrace.

"Dear!" Fan Mei rushed toward Shi Jian but Ming Yue grabbed her arm and pulled her away from Wu Shi Jian.

"Don't go near him!" Ming Yue said in loud voice. "Mr. Wu is cursed with an evil spirit."

"What?!" Grandpa Wu was surprised, he couldn't believe his ears. "What do you mean cursed?! what evil spirit?!"

Wu Shi Jian stared at Ming Yue in disbelief. He was cursed? That couldn't be..

"I don't have time to explain. Grandpa Wu, Aunty Mei go to Lin Shao and Lin Zhao and stay there. Until I say it's okay, don't even move away from that spot." Ming Yue said ordered, couldn't care being polite.

"Mr. Wu, stay where you are. Now that the evil spirit, notice that I am here, it will show its self."

As Grandpa Wu and Fan Mei moved according to what Ming Yue said, they gasped softly when Ming Yue said the evil spirit would show its self.
