After clearing the outer city of all stone men, some of my stats increased by a huge margin, while some didn't increase at all.

seems like abyss gazer wasn't so omnipotent as I thought it to be.

However, it did help me raise my foundation, something that was impossible for the past me.

I'm really looking forward to what results I would end up with if I broke through with no points assigned from the ancient gods' gift.

I also managed to gather a rather hefty amount of coins.

78,967 Exactly, I had already formed a plan on where and how to use them.

except for coins, all that came out were potions and some massive armors of stone that I couldn't equip.

it's such a waste that I cannot sell them for coins, but what can I do, I had no space item that could I could bag in my spare items.

my backpack was already burdening me enough.

while my skill and stat points remain frozen for now, I don't intend to use them anytime soon unless if an emergency happened.

digging out the last mana core from a stone carcass, link rested for 30 minutes, then started walking towards the inner part of the city.

while the stone men there were slightly stronger, he had become stronger himself.

he was confident enough that he could clear it as well all by himself.

in fact, he had to do it as fast as possible, his resources are running out, and he can't afford to stay so weak, so he had do train down here for while, possibly clearing the whole city from the stone men, then going back up to the sands, so he can hunt living prey for food.

he had no idea for how long he had to stay here, for that God damned tomb guardian didn't tell him anything except for him to survive.

so with his blades in both hands, he walked steadily to the inner city, preparing to go on a killing spree

....

days passed and link never stopped his hunting, he killed one stone man after the other, polishing his dual-wielding blades skills, and getting closer and closer to the center of the city.

eventually, after he cleared the whole city from the stone men, link made it to the royal palace.

1-day amount of food is all that was left in his bag, so he could explore the castle before leaving this place.

he had a feeling that once he left the city he will never be able to come back.

so he walked in with no hesitation.

.....

emptiness, the palace is oddly empty, I didn't find a single stone man like I was expecting to.

but there was one place haven't been to yet, it was the throne room.

My senses are telling me that the real deal was waiting for me there.

whatever was inside, surely is unlike everything I faced so far.

I slowly opened the door to the throne room and walked inside carefully and fully on guard, I raised my head only to see a stone man looking right back at me, the moment we had eye contact, my body unconsciously shivered.

[Stone King Morador, The Fallen King, Wielder Of Haeress, Sky Breaker, Level 789]

He was the real deal alright.

He flashed me the creepiest smile I've ever seen and said.

"You finally made it young man"
