Rebirth:The Badass Young Lady

After all that drama and punishment, Gu Xiao Yue finally returned to her class after bidding farewell to her grandpa who persuaded her to go home for today but she declined. It wasn't a big deal as to go home in the middle of the classes and it will just make it seem as if she was really in the wrong in front of other students and teachers.

Although she didn't care about whatever others thought about her, she still had to look out for her face in case she troubles her grandpa again. She didn't want to make him worry about her too much while he should be living a happy and carefree life. So as his caring granddaughter, she will make sure to never let anyone make him worry and angry again.

When she went back in the class, it was already the third period. Everyone looked at her when she entered from the back door. The teacher asked if she was alright and then let her take a seat. The teacher was Yu fei fei. She taught English and was very kind and gentle. She was good to any of her students as she didn't discriminate between poor and rich. Everyone liked her, even Gu Xiao Yue.

After she got back in her seat, teacher Yu continued teaching. Some students were glancing at her while whispering and sometimes snickering but she didn't care as she had her focus in the book.

She had learnt many languages and was fluent in all of them and English was the first language she learnt aside from her mother tongue. She knew English, French, espanol, Japanese, Korean, etc etc. She needed to do that as it was very important while doing business. It would be bad if she couldn't understand the language and the transaction would be done poorly. So she learnt them and perfected them.

She wasn't worried about the rumours going on around the school as the principal had already promised to solve this problem personally. So she just focused on her studies. Although she was already very knowledgeable and could just graduate with good scores with just that but she wanted to enjoy this missing school life in her previous life and live like any other student would.

In the afternoon, a broadcast was done from the principal personally. He apologised about the misbehave of the 6 girls and about the false rumours going around about Gu Xiao Yue and also reported about the investigations done by him personally and listed out the names of the culprits who spread the rumours. Xi Chu Chu also came under it. They were all suspended from the school for a month and their guardians were called at school for compensating Gu Xiao Yue about the deeds done by their children.

The students and teachers finally understood the situation and were also feeling guilty or sympathy for Gu Xiao Yue about what she had to go through and so some of the honest students in the class who had badmouth her came and apologised to her. Gu Xiao Yue told them not to apologise about it and let it go with a smile.

The students finally got to know her better and thought that she wasn't as bad as they though she was. She was indifferent to others not because she looked down on them but just didn't bother to speak to those who distanced themselves from her. She would treat those who treated her nicely just the same and would would not even care about the person who is bad to her if he was dying.

Although it sounded cruel but humans weren't all good and so it was acceptable.

The class monitor of class 1-C, Tang Zhi Xing also came to her.

"Classmate Xi Xiao Yue, I'm sorry for avoiding and letting others do as they wanted because of the misunderstandings. You may not forgive me but I sincerely apologise for letting you feel so terrible because of it. I hope we can be friends from now on." he said that as he extended his hand to her. He had a straightforward personality and would do whatever he thought was right so he wasn't a bad person.

Gu Xiao Yue took his hand and shook it as she nodded and said.

" Class Monitor, it's not your fault and I don't blame other people who were just influenced by the rumours and only blame the culprits. I also hope we can get along." She then smiled sincerely but didn't realise that her smile had such a charm that every student who were looking at her were dazed by the beautiful scene. Even Tang Zhi Xing was looking at her foolishly with her hands still on his.

Seeing them in a daze, Gu Xiao Yue was confused." Is there anything wrong? " she asked them that as she tilted her head a little. She was really confused.

They finally came out of their daze when she called out and blushed involuntarily and looked around nervously as they avoided her eyes. Even Tang Zhi Xing took his hand hurriedly and apologised and smiled a little awkwardly as he excused himself to his own seat, his movements a bit stiff.

Gu Xiao Yue didn't know what happened to them so she just shrugged it off as she sat on her seat.

It was lunch break and she went to the cafeteria with Feng Jiao as usual. The look in the student's eyes had changed after the misunderstanding had been lifted off. They were now filled with pure admiration while with some hint of sympathy.

Gu Xiao Yue met Fu Shu there and thought 'What a c.o.c.kroach. He always pops up wherever I go.' she then tried to avoid him but Fu Shu was ahead of her and blocked her way with his friends behind him. They didn't know why he was doing this but just thought nothing about it as they helped him.

"Xiao Yue, I'm sorry for yesterday. I know I was in the wrong so please forgive me. I just want us to be like when we were back then." said Fu Shu as if he was pleading. He was still thinking of getting her back after all that.

"Fu Shu, this is a cafeteria so don't make a scene as to avoid spreading another false rumour about me again. I'm already tired of such things so can't you just leave me alone? I already told you that there is no chance with me and you. Can't you understand when I talk?" Gu Xiao Yue's mood immediately became bad as she said in an impatient tone.

" Xiao Yue! Just give me another chance. I won't do the same mistake again, I swear!" Fu Shu said that hurriedly seeing her about to leave.

" Hey, Xi Xiao Yue. Just listen to Fu Shu a bit. What's with your attitude?" said An Fu Hao who was a friend of Fu Shu. He now understood that his friend wanted to pursue Gu Xiao Yue but she didn't even give him chance. So he tried to help him but somehow just made it worse.

" Whatever I say and do doesn't have anything to do with you. If I don't want to listen to him then I won't. It's your friend's fault for bothering me. Don't look at me as if I'm in the wrong. I have already warned you to not bother me again." she directed the last sentence to Fu Shu.

" And don't call me so intimately as if we are close. I see you as only a stranger, nothing more." she said that as she wanted to leave the cafeteria as she lost her apetite. But then suddenly a voice called out to her.

"Xiao Yue?"

She turned towards the sound and saw her brother, Gu Qin Zhen coming towards her. He just came to have his lunch with Gu Shao Yan after a long while of not coming here as they also thought that their sister might be here too. They were worried about if she was feeling down so they came to find her. When they saw her in such a bad mood, they thought something was troubling her so they called out to her.

"Xiao Yue, is something troubling you? Are you alright? Did someone bully you?" said Gu Qin Zhen as he looked at her from head to toe and finally sighed in relief after seeing her not injured or hurt anywhere.

"Zhen, Yan? You guys don't dine in the cafeteria, why are you here?" Gu Xiao Yue asked him as she looked at them in doubt.

The surrounding students were also shocked to see the two handsome and popular men in the school coming to the cafeteria as they had never seen them coming here. They were even more shocked when they saw those two acting so intimate towards Gu Xiao Yue and even asking if she was alright in concern. They thought they didn't have a simple reltionship. Some girls were even jealous seeing that.

Gu Qin Zhen and Gu Shao Yan were very handsome with tall and lean stature which made them look very attractive. They were in the ranking board of the most handsome boys in the school and Gu Shao Yan was the No. 1 handsome boy. Although he was serious and cold to people but it just made him look very cool and attractive. Girls really liked such type of boys. And Gu Qin Zhen was cheerful but calm and looked very handsome and was second in ranking. They could be on par with each other but Gu Shao Yan's cool looks still got him ahead.

"Well, we came to find you here after thinking that you were still feeling down about the matters in the morning and we were very worried. Why do you look like you are in a bad mood? Is it about the rumours or someone bullied you?" Gu Qin Zhen said that as he then finally looked around the surroundings. He saw the group lead by Fu Shu standing there will dark faces and Feng Jiao.

" It's nothing Zhen. Just some bad dogs blocking the way. I lost my appetite after hearing them barking around and so we were about to leave but then you called me." Gu Xiao Yue said that as she didn't hide it in an annoyed but calm tone.

"Oh? Who are these bad dogs who are so blind as to block the way of my little sister?" Gu Shao Yan opened his mouth and said that as he narrowed his eyes and stared at Fu Shu and Co with a calm but cold gaze. They trembled a little in fear when they looked at his eyes.

They then finally caught the important point. 'Little sister... Little sister.... Little sister?! Who was Gu Shao Yan calling little sister?? Could it be... Xi Xiao Yue was their little sister?!' Everyone who heard that were shocked and thought it was impossible. How could she be related to those two mysterious boys?

"Wait.. You said little sister?" Fu Shu asked that in doubt to Gu Shao Yan as he widen his eyes.

"Yeah, she is our precious little sister. What? Now afraid or what? You dare to bully my sister in public. Do you know that you have to pay a huge price if she was hurt even a bit? Don't you dare go near her again or else I will deal with you personally." Gu Qin Zhen said that in a rarely serious tone. He was really feeling angry to see these people actually dare to bully his cute little sister. Do they think that he was a pushover to dare annoy his little sister?!

Seeing him agree to it and even admitting in such a serious tone made everyone stunned. They didn't know what to say about it. They just had one question in their mind. 'How the hell did she become their little sister?!?'

Fu Shu was also very stunned. He knew that the two Gu brothers were from a very prominent family but didn't know how big of a status they had. And now that he heard Xi Xiao Yue, whom he had discarded before was actually their little sister made his insides churn in regret. Now she won't even listen to him and act so cold and indifferent towards him. He knew he had no chance with her now and so he felt even more regretful after knowing that she was no more the poor, timid and average girl.

When everyone was still in their shocked state, Gu Xiao Yue left the cafeteria with her two brothers and Feng Jiao in tow. The students only came to themselves when they had already left. They still had some doubts and questions but they couldn't do anything.
