Rebirth:The Badass Young Lady

Gu Xiao Yue and Long Jin Yu went to a nearby restaurant to have a talk. They entered a private room as they sat across each other. A waiteress came in as she handed them a menu book and asked what they would like to order.

Gu Xiao Yue ordered 2 dishes and Long Jin Yu did the same as they also ordered two cup of coffee. The waitress then left the room to get the order.

"Oh. I haven't introduced myself yet, have I? I'm sorry for that. I'm Gu Xiao Yue. You can call me as you like and can just drop the formalities, uncle Long." Gu Xiao Yue said that as she looked at Long Jin Yu with a smile.

"Sure, Xiao Yue. Thank you for helping me out of the situation there. I would have been done in if I kept on staying there in a lock down with that guy." Long Jin Yu thanked her sincerely as he also returned the smile.

"And, may I know what you would like to talk about? I know that you only used the jade as an excuse to get me out of the store." Long Jin Yu asked her that directly.

'He is smart and honest. Just whom I needed!' Gu Xiao Yue thought that as she her smile deepened and said.

" Then, I won't beat around the bush. Uncle Long, I would like to buy the owner deeds of Long Jewelers company and employ you."

"What?!" Long Jin Yu thought he heard something wrong as he dazed for a bit then asked her.

"Unce Long, I have come to understand that your company is declining as its supplies have been cut off and you don't have enough capital to help your company to get back up in the business again. I would like to buy the company and I want you to stay as the president of the company while I will provide you the necessary sources and capital and act as the hidden behind the scene boss."

" I'm still a minor and cannot openly manage a company myself so I would like to employ you and you can help me with managing the company." She said that as the door opened and the waitress then served the coffee and the dishes and then left.

Long Jin Yu then finally said,still in shock.

" Xiao Yue, it's true that my company has come to the point of no return and I can do nothing. And it's a very beneficial idea to take your help. But... Do you really trust me for this? I mean we only met twice and you don't even know whether I might betray you or not."

Gu Xiao Yue smiled and chuckled a bit then said." Uncle Long, I find you trustworthy as you are honest and capable. You singlehandedly brought your company to such heights although it is now in this situation it still can't hide your skills and efficiency. And there is a saying" Trust those who you use. " after all, if you can't even trust your own people then how will you even be able to reach new heights? So you don't have to worry about it as I fully trust those whom I acknowledge and won't treat them bad."

"What do you say, Uncle Long?"

Long Jin Yu was slightly surprised to hear such m.a.t.u.r.e and wise words coming out from a teenage girl who was still a high schooler. A girl with such smarts and brains, it's really not bad to follow such a person who can give you her whole trust.

Long Jin Yu was touched by her actions as although he understood that Gu Xiao Yue had other motives to it too but he didn't mind it as he really wasn't capable to make his company rise again while she could.

"I would gladly take the offer then,Xiao Yue." Long Jin Yu said that as he smiled gratefully.

"I am looking forward to working with you then, Uncle Long." Gu Xiao Yue extended her hand and Long Jin Yu shook it as they reached an agreement.

They ate their food as they decided the appointment time and place to sign the doc.u.ments and do other procedures for transfering the ownership. They then settled on meeting the next saturday afternoon and go to the Industry and commerce bureau to transfer equities.

They finished their meal and exchanged their numbers as they then went out of the restaurant.

Long Jin Yu requested to send her home but Gu Xiao Yue had other plans so she declined with a smile. Long Jin Yu then got in the car as he then drove away after saying goodbye to Gu Xiao Yue.

It was 2 pm in the afternoon so she still had some time till the grouping up with Feng Jiao and her friends so she decided to check out the antique stores. She didn't think that her abilities were only limoted to seeing through objects.

She had this thought because after getting her ability till now, her time limit till she can use her ability has been lengthening and she can use it for full 1 hour without any rest now.

Her eye sight had improved a lot that she could even see the people and objects in a faraway distance very clearly. So she was going to try it out in antiques too. She already had some knowledge about antiques after the research on it so even if she couldn't tell if it was real with her ability, she still could at least try to determine the authenticity of them.

She had the driver put the raw stones in the car as she couldn't keep it in her space or else she will be found out. She then went towards the antique stores. The raw stone market and antique market were just side to side so she got there in just 10 minutes.

She got out of the car as she then looked around the stalls and shops, showcasing various old and still fresh mud stuck antique wares which made it look as if it was excavated just now. It was hard to find real antiques as they were too rare.

She looked around as she then used her ability to check if she could find a real one. She looked around for a bit but didn't see anything. There was no real antiques or she couldn't see it.

She thought she didn't have the ability and was about to give up when suddenly, she saw a bright light coming from a small stall where an old man was sitting lazily as he didn't have any customers in his stall. No one believed there was any real antique in this unkempt small stall.

She headed towards the small stall as she examined the bright earthy yellow light shining around a blue and white porcelain tea cup set which looked old and dirty. No one would think that it was real. She then picked it up as she observed it carefully. The old man lazily opened his eyes and glanced at her for a long time and then closed his eyes to nap again.

Gu Xiao Yue began to like the tea cup set which although old and dirty, had a kind of warm and artistic look which only those who were experienced or familiar with antiques could see. She could see it as she had the clairvoyance ability. She immediately thought of buying it and keeping it as a decoration in her room. She first wanted to check if it was real or not as she was still doubtful about the light.

She then looked at the old man who was dozing off and then called out to him.

"Excuse me grandpa. Can you tell me the price of this tea cup set?" she asked him as he opened his eyes and looked at the tea cup set and the young girl holding it.

"You got some good eyes, pretty young lady." he said that as he looked at her mysteriously.

"The tea cup set isn't expensive. It only costs 100 yuan."

Gu Xiao Yue found his gaze a bit suspicious as if she was seeing her late mysterious master again. The profoundness in the old man's eyes were the same as her master's as they looked like they had gone through many adversities and already lost interest in the worldy matters. Like true immortals. But she didn't think of it more as she then paid for the tea cup set.

Just as she turned around to leave, the old man talked to her again.

"Pretty young lady, you got some really mysterious fate. You may make wise use of what you have got so as to avoid any disasters from the human's greed and obsession. May you have a good fortune."

She was shocked to hear such words hidden with meanings she couldn't decipher completely as she hurriedly turned around but the old man had already walked away very far without taking his antiques with him. She was really suspicious and curious about this mysterious old man and his parting words.

She thought that it held more meanings than what she heard but she couldn't do anything as she couldn't catch up with the old man even if she tried her best. She was shocked then thought that he was also a master in martial arts. Maybe, same as her late master. 'This world really has hidden tigers and crouching dragons.' she thought that as she turned around to leave.
